The staff were rude. It took forever to get a drink. They didn't give my dog a pup cup. They didn't put my real name on the cup.

Well, I read the other review saying this place just loads on the ice and it's definitely on me for not listening. I just moved to this area and there's several starbucks in walking distance, I will ensure not to return to here because when there's MORE ICE than drink, your customer isn't happy. If you are ordering online, make your own ice with the drink because otherwise you get less than half of what your money is worth. read more

My first Starbucks in 2 months! It was mainly because this location was closed as a result of COVID-19 and it's lack of a drive thru meaning it had to shut its doors for the time being. On today's walk around the neighborhood, I noticed a bunch of paper signs on the windows around the store so I wanted to see what's up. The signs read "stand here please" and I faintly saw people (all baristas) inside the shop. Going to their main side door, I noticed a bunch of people were lining up - it's open! My guess is that they re-opened sometime this week. I mobile ordered my drink (assuming that's the only way) and waited with the others (everyone was sorted of in the same small area, so physical distancing wasn't optimal, I decided to wait a little further). While waiting, the barista called out, "anyone waiting to place an order?" meaning mobile ordering isn't the sole method but I don't recommend it since you don't know how much longer you'll be waiting (unless you approach the door and ask to order, but the door is quite traffic busy already with people trying to pick up their stuff and paying would be a hassle too). Tbh, the wait is longer than usual - the baristas take their time to make the orders (so no excuse for mistakes) and you can visually see extra sanitization being implemented. The barista calls your name, you open the door and there is a temporary counter set up where they place your drink down on a tray for you to pick up as they step back. After you do, they wipe down the tray and counter with sanitizer water. All staff were wearing masks and the one that stays at the door to pass out drinks wears gloves as well. The usual Starbucks mannerism was still in place as I was thanked for my business with a smile. My only criticism is that I witnessed them accepting cash as payment - many other places are accepting debit and credit only, so I was surprised to see this. Really 3 stars but I'm giving a bonus star for being open for takeout as of recently, so they're better than the average just for that. I'm tired of having to handle & mix a full, hot coffee in the car at the drive-throughs on Yonge-407 & Bayview Lanes. It was good being able to grab it from the pick-up table and go outside to adjust sweetness level and drink off the top one third of the cup before going back to the car. The space is split longitudinally and somewhat diagonally into an ordering half and a waiting half with the supervisor as traffic cop. Staff does a very good job of it on their end. Of course they couldn't do anything about the large number of children & tweens bunched up & crowding outside. If you read Jennifer K's classic review from 2011, it could as easily have been written last week. Maybe something with the water in this neighbourhood? They're trying to move the last of their Christmas Blonde ... I'm pretty sure 2019 Holiday editions were meant to be used by the end of March but I haven't had a proper Light Roast for 9 weeks so I took a chance last Wednesday and beans were a bit stale. Came here to claim my birthday drink. I asked for a vegan drink. The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable. Starbucks offers Soy, Almond, and Coconut milk for lattes. Many of their flavours are vegan too. Seating wise this might not be the biggest Starbucks, but it sure is cozy. Free Wi-Fi as usual. read more

An Okay Starbucks It's always super crowded, and normally with a lottt of kids and teens..I believe the reason is that there is a kids martial arts studio just coupla doors down, so this Starbucks will get blaster every hour or two with a wave of loud pre-teens :) Service isn't up to SB standards, there about three kids that are always on shift. 2.5 Maybe coming to this Starbucks during March Break was not a good time! This is the first Starbucks I been to that were infested with pre-teens. They scattered everywhere, on the sofas, in the doorway and everywhere. I don't really mind sharing spaces with them, but when they are cafferinated and on sugar high (eating those mini butter cupcakes like there's no tomorrow), they tends to get a little hyper jumping all over the place. Even the usual crowd in this Starbucks are different. Ladies with their tan, in their designer clothes flashing their Gucci/Louis Vuitton handbags. Drinking my coffee listening to all the gossips and how to apply make up probably from all these ladies did make my stay at Starbucks a little more entertaining! read more

I am surprised that I have never reviewed this location. Over the years this Starbucks consistently gets it right with friendly service, great selection and well prepared drinks. They can handle any complicated hidden menu drink request. Loads of clean seating including a patio with umbrellas. Gets really busy in the mornings between 815-915 especially with parents dropping off kids at multiple nearby schools. Seating less available in the winter between about 1130-100 due to high school lunch hours. Preparing for my day resting in a leather armchair. Going to get a free refill for my tall coffee on my way out the door - sweet rewards member perk. :) read more

Yet another Starbucks with beverages that are tasteless, teenage employees behind the counter who are as interested in service as an Ashley Madison member is in a deep connection and tables that are out of place and have crumbs and sticky stuff on them. How typical. And speaking of typical why can't these children go home and access the Internet? Why do they need to surf Instagram, er I mean conduct research for their homeworks, at a coffee shop? Going back to the main reason for going to a Starbucks (don't get excited pre-teens, I am not talking about Facebook posts) i.e. the hot beverages. Why are they so watery, weak, tasteless and bland? This Starbucks is not bad. I never really find too long of a line here so you can order your items quite fast. However, seating can be an issue here. I find there are a lot of small businesses or meetings happening here. People over stay and use the space as a mini office. Also, there are 2 schools nearby and students often come for a visit during the lunch rush. I did order a sandwich here once and it was horrible. The flavours of the sandwich were bad but the way it was prepared was also poor. I know they just take the sandwich out of the bag but when they removed it and tossed it into the microwave, it all fell apart when they placed it into the paper bag hot. As a result, I couldn't eat the sandwich without also eating the bag. The plus, is that I was dining in so I was able to ask the employee to change the sandwich for me. Dropped by while going on a road trip. I usually never have a problem with going to Starbucks because it's my daily need. Coming in there's no line up and it's rather empty. I ordered my drink but the employee kept interrupting me. Once I got my drink the barista just kept giving me a dirty look. I was really nice throughout being inside... This has been the one Starbucks location, out of all my experiences, where I was rudely treated by some punk kid working the cash. A girl took my order and that went fine. She proceeded to go and make my drink when the other guy came back out from the back. He took over the cash and asked me what I was having. I told him that I think the girl entered my order already, but after a little back-and-forth, maybe she didn't, so then I repeated the order for him. He seemed to get a bit impatient and and snapped "Yeah ok, are you having anything else?" I responded "no" and he mumbled under his breath, "Gosh..." I'm not even sure what the source of his confusion or frustration was, but I was appalled. I stared at the punk for a moment and considered giving him a verbal lashing, but there were kids around and people in line so I moved on, picked up my drink, and just left. Oh, as I was exiting, I saw a photo of the guy on their wall of "employees of the month." In hindsight, maybe I should have ripped it off. In any case, this is the closest Starbucks to my house, but I have never gone back since then. read more

I like going to this Starbucks cause the macchiatos taste good for the price you are paying for. While, some days you just got to get coffee in your system and just have to settle for mediocre coffee from Starbucks. This location does not disappoint and makes a great cup every time. It's pretty spacious at this location and fairly loud... Can't handle the noise? Bring earphones or take it to go. One of the good things at this location is WIFI (yassssss)! The downside is that connecting to the WIFI is frustrating but free is a blessing: Warning: if you do not like kids... Sorry not sorry, there's plenty of them at this location. I can't say much about this joint. Starbucks has a reputation that precedes it. All I can say is that the service was @ par, the music; Old country, the " let's get together around a campfire with marshmallows and sing how God is great" type... The Mozzarella and Tomato Panini, on the other hand, at $6.95 plus tax, my guilty pleasure had put a momentary end to my "low-fat" preferences, was excellent as the bread, although white and a little satanic to my "high fibre is a must to maintain a healthy lifestyle" lifestyle, was "bakery-fresh" and scrumptious.The mozarella was stringy, savored with oregano and reminiscent of "Italiano"." Probably one of the least enjoyable locations I've been to. The plaza doesn't have enough parking for all the people trying to get into the area. On top of that there's not nearly enough chairs tables sitting places for the customers. When I was in there the last time there must've been 30 people just sitting there with no beverage snow food occupying space it's a bit of a frustration when you want to come in and have a nice cuppa coffee and just relax for a few minutes is not possible. read more
