Never in a million years did we think they could fit a Starbucks with a drive-thru in front of Chuck E. Cheese, but they did - and it works out great. We were in the area for the California Strawberry Festival and needed to run to nearby stores for supplies and bonus - Starbucks !! Each time we stopped in we were fortunate to only end up behind one or two others in the drive-thru line. Ordering was simple, the baristas were friendly, and our drinks were always made correctly. We never went inside but it appeared to be pretty spacious in there. I definitely recommend a stop here whenever you're in the area. read more

This is my go to Starbucks as it's conveniently located nearby my work which makes it the perfect early morning coffee stop. While I try to support small local businesses, sometimes convenience overrides and when it does, this Starbucks is my tried and true. The reason I give this Starbucks 5 stars is their service / staff is always on point and I haven't found a drive thru Starbucks that can get me in and out quicker than this spot. I really love and depend on their drive thru here. They are so fast. Even when the lines are long I'm also super impressed how quickly they keep the line moving. I truly have never waited too long and that's a huge plus for me as it's always a morning rush to ensure I get out of here and to work on time. The staff that work the drive thru here are always kind and considerate. They have no problem handing out anything I need and always seem upbeat. Starbucks coffee, matchas and teas are decent enough when I am in a pinch. For a large coffee shop enterprise I don't mind them as they hire nice people, they keep new/seasonal drinks on rotation and the prices haven't seemed to increase too much over the years. I would like to provide constructive feedback regarding both the cleanliness of this Starbucks location and its approach to Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). There is a recurring issue with trash accumulation around the exterior of the building, particularly in the bushes and near the drive-through, and out of concern for the environment and overall customer experience, I personally took the initiative to pick up and dispose of some of the debris on three different occasions all in the same week, which should not be necessary as maintaining a clean and welcoming storefront is a basic operational standard. Additionally, the handling of ESA animals appears unnecessarily rigid, as even when animals are fully contained within concealed carriers, customers are still being turned away despite there being no reasonable risk to others, including concerns related to allergies or safety. A more balanced and informed approach would reflect a higher level of professionalism and customer awareness, as ESAs play a legitimate role in supporting individuals and policies should allow for reasonable discretion when there is no impact on other patrons. I encourage management to prioritize maintaining a clean exterior environment and to reassess how policies are applied in practice to ensure they align with both customer experience standards and common sense. read more

I rarely write reviews for anything less than 5 stars, but as a daughter celebrating my dad's birthday, I felt this needed to be shared. I ordered a hot coffee (with room for cream) and an iced coffee. The coffee wasn't brewed right away, which was fine, so I went to the bathroom. When I came back, my coffee was ready, but my dad's wasn't. I asked about it, and the barista who took my order, an older woman, loudly insisted several times that she had already handed it out, making us feel embarrassed, as if we were in the wrong. The coffee was eventually remade, but her tone was still rude and impatient. I understand that working in a busy environment can be stressful, for I have a job myself, but no one should leave feeling embarrassed over a simple mistake, and this could've been brushed off had the barista been truthful in her simply forgetting to brew the coffee and give it to us. Going along with the average here - about a three star experience at this Starbucks location. Trying to get to the drive-thru lane when entering from the south end of the parking lot was confusing. It sits up against northern edge of the shopping center where Burlington, Black Angus, and WinCo Foods reside. Dear Hubby and I stopped here after being out at Ventura Harbor Village. A little beverage for the road, as it were. Once we navigated around other buildings and made it into the ordering line the rest of the experience fell into place. They made our order correctly, and the wait wasn't too long. Since we only used the drive-thru I haven't seen the interior yet. It is convenient off the 101 freeway, but the location where Main Street ends at Telephone, plus the freeway entrance merging can be confusing for people not familiar with the area. On my most recent trip out to Ventura. I was looking for a Starbucks. Now during covid, a lot of the stores close a little bit earlier it seems. This is one that was open a little bit later even though it wasn't that late. I saw this store on the map and I had thought it was located across the street where there used to be one. Finding the actual location of this Starbucks did take me some time. Even on google maps and seeing the big sign I had to loop around a few times, but eventually found it. It is tucked away behind the Chuck E. Cheese. There used to be another Starbucks on the other side of the 101 but that was gone too maybe it's all consolidated into this one now. I'm sure this location is very popular since there is a drive-through. But for me the hardest part was just fighting the actual store itself since there is a driveway that makes it seem like it may be a dead end or down some loading dock but on both ends of the Chuck E Cheese can get you here. I hardly go to Starbucks anymore. Overpriced, no organic options, corporate/cold, but I stopped by for a coffee and large ice water... convenience of those dang drive thrus always get me. The young man on the speaker was totally kind. Got to the window and he apologized that he could only give me a small water because "corporate", I say ok! I'll have a few then. As we are talking the manager comes up and says he has no choice but cannot give me more than one water, no water to "noncostumers", and one small one per paying costumer. They don't even allow me to pay a cup fee for a larger one. It's just silly. Billions and billions of dollars, and they are greedy about water? It's simple. Charge for the cup, sell cups of water. "Too many people are taking advantage of it" was the excuse. I understand the people working here are just doing their job but the company has to make a way for them to do better. Back in the day Starbucks had a "just say yes" policy that made them such a great place to work and such a great place to support. I placed my order incorrectly and then felt like an idiot for interrupting the barista while they were busy making other drinks. Consistently the standards at this Starbucks are easily the worst and the Drive Thru is horrible. I recently started working in the area and decided to give this particular location a try despite living near a different one. Regardless of time and day of the week, the low standards for "iced drinks" are pretty pathetic. In the span of four visits over two weeks, despite ordering an iced café Americano each time, the minimum amount of ice was nonexistent and appeared to be the equivalent of asking for a fountain soda drink at a fast food restaurant without ice- slightly above room temperature and maybe a tad cold. Essentially IF ice was put in, it was already melted even when I saw them pour it and place it down on the counter before receiving it through the window. There was absolutely no attention and effort put forth to make it "an iced drink" regardless who is working. The first time I ordered it I was trying to rush back to the office and didn't think much of it as I just grabbed it, put it in the cupholder and drove off to the office. 15 minutes later I actually looked at it and realized "the ice melted." I was shocked as every other Starbucks I visit that's never the case thinking it might be a one off. Well I wind up grabbing an iced Café Americano, right by my home two days later at my local one, and the ice didn't melt despite sitting for nearly 10 minutes as a mobile order. So again I tried three times at this particular location and even though I literally see them rush to make it through the window and hand it to me, they continually kept giving me essentially "lukewarm" coffee with melted and nonexistent ice. They're extremely sparse as though there is an ice shortage and completely inconsistent. Basically be warned if you attempt ordering any iced coffee, you will have to add ice on your own volition, ask for a cup of ice there and expect essentially a slightly chilled/room temperature coffee. Not worth the aggravation! Go elsewhere read more

Convenient location in Ventura near freeway exits and shopping. This branch has a super tricky parking lot and drive thru, so be cautious when driving up or parking/leaving. The drive thru seems to always run pretty long so i usually park or order ahead. My orders have always been perfect and the baristas have my coffee ready on time with my mobile orders. read more

My husband & I pop in here whenever we are on this side of Ventura (usually to go to Ross & to take our nephew to Lakeshore Learning) and we have loved how cool and modern this drive-thru location is. I find that the parking directly in front of this location to be very small, but thankfully, there is parking around the sides near Chuck E Cheese. It can be a little dicey because if you park in the lot behind Chuck E Cheese that is where the drive-thru folks come out and you really need to watch were you walk. PROCEED WITH CAUTION! The inside is always very clean, has a chill vibe, interesting people coming in and out, good service & the bathrooms are always nice, so I recommend. My nephew loves coming here in general, but he seems to really like this location for some reason. We typically get him a Refresher, Lemon Loaf, Cake Pops or Cookies, but today he went for a bagel and cream cheese and a Decaf Vanilla Frap with whipped cream and he said both were yummy. Normally it's good here. But the woman at the counter gave the dumbest answer to an issue with the cheesecake and didn't offer a solution. My daughter and I got a cheesecake and there was no crust on it. I didn't know until my daughter brought it. So I had my daughter take it back to the counter when we had just taken a fork full off to say where's the crust. The lady tells my daughter that the cheesecake they get always loses the crust because it sticks to the bottom . If you just need a caffeine fix and Starbucks is your thing, this location will do, but don't expect your typical Starbucks experience. I have been to this location a few times, and every single one it is slow and dirty. The only tables by outlets during today's visit were filthy, not that there are many places to plugin to choose from. In both of my last two visits, getting my drink was slower than the average Starbucks visit. I've had my share of Salted Caramel Mochas, and I know about how long they take to make. I'm not sure what they do back there at this location. This particular shopping center draws a sometimes unsavory crowd, but there's no reason that should allow this store to operate below the Starbucks standard. I may be back when it's convenient but definitely would not go out of my way to visit this location. Even when it is, I might try the Coffee Bean on the other side of the parking lot.
