Ordered the strawberry matcha, and it was delicious! I added the marscapone cream on top and that was NECESSARY. It was SOOO good. The drink was perfectly balanced, and not too sweet. My cousin got a chai, and he really enjoyed it! Service was great, they were all very friendly and we didn't have to wait too long. Ambiance is so cool, due to the location, it's such a unique spot to hangout. There's plenty of seating and a lot of people hanging out. There was a line when we went but it moves at a decent pace. Highly recommend!

We had a group of about 12 girls, and they had all of our coffees ready in less than 30 minutes. Every single drink was amazing. I ordered the dulce de leche coffee, which was perfectly sweet and the baristas recommendation. My friend's pistachio latte was honestly one of the best coffee drinks I've ever tasted, and the chaggacino was just as delicious. Not one person in our group had a bad drink. The staff was so kind, especially the sweet Korean gentleman who helped us. He completely turned our mood around after we missed our train. I also loved that they use organic ingredients. If you're ever at the Oxnard train station, stop here. We left with great coffee, a better mood, and a new favorite coffee shop.

Great little space to start your tour - or, in our case, end your tour - of Heritage Square,…read moreOxnard. This former house, now a lovely business, offers plenty of room to relax with a delightful beverage, some engaging conversation, and a bit of gift shop gazing. Hungry? No problem! The accommodating staff will let you know what they recommend for a quick bite, or a satisfying meal. Plenty of locals were here on the day we popped in, working on laptops, discussing presentations/proposals, and enjoying a book with their mocha, cozied up in a comfy chair. We were looking for a quick, easy bite and some caffeine before we moved to our next location. Splitting a ham & cheese on fresh sourdough, then each getting a bevvie(he likes a cup o' Joe in the afternoon, but I had a delicious spiced Chai with whole milk) was a perfect little snack to keep us revved up. What a lovely way to chill out, or be productive! Parking is free on the street, and also in a lot on the opposite side the square. I love that they also support other local, small businesses and artists with some of the items they have for sale. I couldn't resist a bag of kettle corn for just $6 and then read the label that it was produced in a fully licensed local, private kitchen. Lic and expiration date, as well as ingredients and location of manufacturer were clearly stated on the packaging, making me feel real comfortable about my purchase and support of local businesses. How cool to have a business that provides space for other, even smaller businesses! I already was thinking about the friends I was eager to share this great little spot with, in hopes they too will enjoy and return with their friends. And so on, and so on, and so on! Cheers! "CC"

Not too sweet, so we can savor the original flavor we wanted, and much healthier. The shop has plenty of both inside and outside seatings. Interior decor is modern and artistic. AC is on. Service is fast. Prices are very reasonable. Our party of four, two kids two moms, were very happy. You can also take to go order and just eat it on the beach or on your stroll in the walkways of the harbor. Soak in the sun the ocean breezes and enjoy the best Southern California has to offer!

My issue is that all of our hot chocolate felt very light and when we took the lid off to check it out they mostly filled it up with whip cream!!!! They rushed it and stole money out our pockets by not filling up all 5 cups. It was a waste !!!! Then the hot chocolate that they serve wasn't even anything to be screaming about. The local 711 hot chocolate is better. Just a shame that they would do that to people bc they're busy. Never right. The picture doesn't even show how much more was missing under that whip cream. Also it wasn't even hot more like warm temp

Such a fun little Oxnard find!…read more My daughters and I stopped by Pothead Coffee yesterday, and seriously--the whole place is a VIBE! Everything from the décor to the creativity matched the name perfectly. It was so cute, smelled AMAZING, and I had no idea they served food too! We came for the coffee, and it did NOT disappoint. I got the Cookie Butter and it was absolutely delicious. One of my daughters got an Horchata Café de Olla Latte, which was also SO good. I can't remember what my other daughter ordered, but all three drinks were a hit! Service was super quick, everyone was friendly, and can we talk about the fact that they have KOOL-AID ON TAP?! I loved all the fun little details. Hands down, yummy coffee, creative atmosphere, great service, and just an all-around cool spot. We will definitely be back--next time we're trying the food! If you're in the Oxnard area, definitely stop by and give Pothead Coffee a try.

I came around 10am and went straight into coffee. I asked for a recommendation and got the Banana Bread Latte (7/10) and Watermelon Pepino (8/10). Both were pretty good! The owner was there and offered extra espresso, which was a nice touch. I also tried the Aerecano, a specialty drink unique to this location 100/10! PotHeads uses a unique espresso machine that's the only one of its kind in California, and it's clearly super dialed in, which is a dream if you're a coffee connoisseur! At 10:30, Smoking Jays BBQ opens. We tried the Spicy Nashville Chicken Sando and BBQ Loaded Fries -- phenomenal! They also have vegan and vegetarian options. The atmosphere is a millennial's dream: tons of pop culture references, good music, great merch, and lots of regulars. The staff knows people by name, which makes it feel really welcoming. Pros: There are outlets along the walls, so it's still a good option for working or studying. They also have a rewards program and plenty of food options. Cons: It's BUSY , so don't expect a quiet study environment. Wi-Fi also isn't posted. PotHeads Coffee and Smoking Jays BBQ are two separate businesses housed in the same location, so they have separate ordering counters. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely come back. It feels like a community spot rather than just a coffee shop
