Staff is amazing and they're quick and make amazing drinks:) my favorite Starbucks in the West Hartford and surrounding area. Months back they ran out of an egg and bacon sandwich I ordered and they felt bad because the one I got instead I personally didn't like so one of the employees left me with a $5 gift card from his own pocket. I miss my old go-to Starbucks location now that I've since moved away. Despite being tucked away in the back of a strip mall, this place was always reliable and a stone's throw from all the other places I run my errands. There's plenty of seating, plenty of parking, and it's a good place to get some work done. My order has never been wrong, and the employees are always friendly and smiling. Even when I don't have time to sit and enjoy my drinks, I know I can place a mobile order, swing by less than 5 minutes later, and it'll be ready and waiting for me. I really have no complaints. Solid study spot (i.e. great lighting, wide table with bag hooks, ample outlet access, speedy wifi), staff are professional and friendly, music isn't deafening. Also much less likely to be flooded with kids (unlike the Farmington one). Can get congested with mobile orders since it's so central. To echo another review, deducting one star for how often flies seem to be there... (but maybe that's a thing of the past since the redesign? At least they're fully enclosing the bakery items now) but that's my only complaint! read more

After dinner at Red Robin and a quick stroll around the mall, we were looking for a place to relax and prolong our evening. Oh! Starbucks! I loved the look of this place. It was nice and cozy and looked like it had been recently remodeled, which, by the look of the other reviews, it has. :) I could not resist the tiramisu cake pop, which I found out later through Google was 170 calories. For the record, the question was this: Which James Michener novel was made into a musical? I got so excited! I said, "South Pacific! Actually, the novel was called Tales of the South Pacific, but the musical was just called South Pacific. It's by Rogers and Hammerstein. I believe it was the first Broadway show Shirley Jones ever appeared in, actually. I'm gonna wash that man right outta my hair... There ain't nothing like a DAAAAAAAAAAAME!" Very professional staff. Usually quiet and a good place for studying. I've never had any complaints on my drinks. Bathrooms are clean. The only thing is, I usually spend hours here studying, and I have yet to see anyone wipe the tables. They're usually sticky and covered in caramel. That's really my only complaint about this place. Otherwise, a decent place for coffee. **Edit** Breaking news: Today, I saw them wiping down the tables! and the one I picked wasn't sticky at all. Huge improvement. Yay!! read more

Definitely one of the better Starbucks locations I've been to. Due to a milk allergy (no, not lactose intolerant, an actual milk allergy) I have to use soy or almond milk alternatives. All too often the barista at other locations will slip up and use cows milk, causing me to become very sick. This has made me nervous about ordering. Not at this location! Nolan, my barista, was very attentive to my order, as well as my husband's. He asked our preference of tea and coffee, respectively, and was so pleasant throughout our visit. Probably one of the better Starbucks I've been to in the area. The barista was friendly and my drink came out promptly. It was also delicious. Everything looked clean and it was not disorganized behind the counter, like some other Starbucks I've reviewed. Yet another disappointing experience at a Starbucks! I have been into this location a million times. Often when I am at the Old Navy or Best Buy and need a cup of coffee. I wish there was a DD in this shopping center, but unfortunately its not. Every time I go into this location it seems like I am bothering the employees. Worst service ever in a Starbucks, 4 to 5 staff but really only 1 working. I finally got to second in line and asked the girl (KELLY) in front of me if I could order, she replied "I'll be right with you" and continued writing in a book (terrible service). After some time passing I asked again, this time she said ,oh he will take your order as soon as he's done with those people, and continued writing in her book (terrible service). I finally ordered a tea, they didn't have any up front and one of the girls went back to look for it. Again time passes I look at the back and see the girl washing a pan, so I ask did she bring you my tea, the reply was she went back to check. I told the girl, look she is washing a pan back there and Kelly is right beside her, the girl up front shouts back did you find the tea, answer: we don't have any. I'm pretty sure this Kelly is the so-called manager :( UNBELIEVABLE! WORST EVER!!! read more

Saturday mornings this place is a joke waited 25 minutes for an iced Americano I can't believe I didn't walk out---it gets better usually when I don't get my breakfast sandwich I will ask for a refund and/or tell them that they forgot my order--- in this case I just walked out I could not stand to sit there one more minute #Never again---why do they have a manager to somebody run this place is there somebody in charge that finds it to be unacceptable when you turned out a latte every 10 minutes- OK I feel better now read more

This is a great Starbucks location. It's not very big, but super busy and they manage to make the drinks quickly and keep the line moving along. I've always been really happy with my drinks and food. BY FAR the best Starbucks I have ever been to. The baristas are so friendly and greet most customers with their first name. Always remember my favorite drinks and are jovial. It's a cozy place and is a favorite spot for many people so it's sometimes hard to find a seat. On its busiest days, the line may be out the door but they move very fast and efficiently.
