The service was very disappointing. The employee who assisted me--her name was Shiloh, or if not, she had brown hair, glasses, and brown eyes--was working at this location around 6:40 PM on 12/21/25. She was unprofessional and caused unnecessary delays by repeatedly asking for the app, yet did not have it ready when needed, which resulted in me being unable to receive my points. Additionally, she took an excessive amount of time to prepare my drink. Overall, the experience was frustrating and did not meet expected customer service standards. Drink was good though. read more

Between the ridiculously large building & the prime right-off-freeway location im always disappointed with rude demeanor & lack of patience from the staff. They are ALWAYS short staffed & out of 9/10 ingredients & food items that they keep on display on the menu both in store & online. I walked in to pick up an online order yesterday & waited 30 mins just to receive my order completely wrong. So I nicely mentioned to one of the 3 baristas working that my order was wrong & he rudely snapped at me, telling me to get in line & I'd have to order something else & he couldn't give me a refund due to the now hour wait!? Never had such a negative experience at Starbucks. I hope they can start to manage their staff & inventory better. read more

One of the work customers service for a Starbucks. The cashiers don't even greet you or even say something along the lines of "what can I get for you" or "how can I get you started" to let me know you're ready to take my order. They simply just stand there in silence staring at their screen. And when take your order they just look at your like you're stupid. 80% of the time they get my order wrong because they don't even take the time to review the order. If you don't like working with customers then get another job or at least leave Starbucks. read more

Terrible experience with a terrible worker that was pretty racist. I was buying things and when I asked for a bag that they never even said if I needed one, one of the workers that was a white male threw the bag at me to do it myself. Even after I came back for another purchase a few minutes after, that same guy ignored me and kept be waiting to just go do something else. After he came back, when I asked for another bag that he still didn't question if I needed a bag, he rudely told me that he already gave me that other one and didn't even bother to do his job by simply putting the items into a bag. I'm not sure what the problem is but I know it is not hard to give a customer another bag??? Just note that you can have a bad time and experience there, especially with that racist white male worker that switched up on me with a bunch of workers there. read more

OH MAN I know I can speak for many on this, Cassie we miss your bright beautiful personality in the morning!!! On the other hand my run ins with Samantha have been nothing but unpleasant absolutely no kind interaction. Definitely will NOT go the extra (inch) even if you ask to pay extra just to customize a drink. I have been coming to this Starbucks for the last 4 years only maybe twice I have gotten a good interaction with Sam(usually a bit rude/demeanor is like you have bothered her or how dare you customize your drink).I work in customer service and sorry to say who ever decided to put Sam as manager may want to retrain her. Been going to this place to knock out homework and work, and it's been pretty great overall. For a long study sesh, I recommend you bring a hoodie as they run the AC pretty cold. But the baristas are efficient and very sweet. Definitely recommend! read more

I told her my order and felt something was not right because it was more expensive than my usual. She took a different tone with me after that! Girl working gave me a hard time for not wearing a mask. I'm not sick nor do I have COVID. I informed her of my constitutional rights and that the sign on the store says Vons customers must wear a mask. There are also pretty big plexiglass barriers. I wasn't shopping at Vons. Well I'm happy to say this new location is offering a great new huge hard working crew. It took me a while to get past the closing of the location a block down near McDonalds. That crew was no less than superb!!! They never forgot my name or my drink, went out of their way to make us feel at home. But I have now witnessed at least 3 of the crew transferred over to the new location too. The place is larger and has a extensive refrigeration unit that houses an array of iced cold refreshments. I stopped in our way home from Snowline Farms.....WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE. Had to repeat my SUPER EASY order of 2 iced coffees to Samantha's face twice. Then the other worker, sans name tag & uniform comes in clearly high AF. He then asks Samantha and I quote "ummmmm...so do put like just the syrup in there or what?" Anyway....needless to say, I SHOULD have checked my drinks taste prior to leaving. I got back on the 10 and headed west, took a long drink of what I'm expecting to be a an iced coffee with an extra shot with sweetener & cream. What I got was a mouth full of cream & sweetener syrup.....no coffee flavor. No essence of coffee. Nothing. Cream with sweetener. Disgusting. Did me no good. It's very rare I go all the way out to Yucaipa. Rest assured that I'll be taking my own coffee from now on. read more

In a nutshell, the long anticipation for this Starbucks to open was quickly depleted on my first visit. How sad! Emily could've been a tad less curt. Maybe she was feeling overwhelmed? Stressed out? Tired? Irritated? Irregardless, they totally missed the mark today. The place was not busy, yet it was absolutely filthy. Tables were sticky and full of crumbs/debris. Napkins on the ground, everything looked in disarray. I'm so disappointed and frankly they should be too, because that is one less patron to visit and support their payroll! I frequent Starbucks daily, and I can honestly say this was one of the worst customer service experiences ever. I waited over 20 minutes for my coffee (simple ice latte) and when I asked the manager (who also took my order, but never processed it to be made) for a free drink voucher (which they give out at all Starbucks if you have to wait 10 mins or more) she said sure I can get that to you in one minute. She proceeded then to take orders at the register and heat up sandwiches for other customers completely forgetting about me. I ultimately walked out as I wasn't in the mood nor had the time to wait another 20 minutes for a free drink voucher. The staff making the drinks were working hard, and this is no means a review of their work ethic. If this is a new location and experiencing rush of new traffic they should bring in a more experienced manager from another heavy traffic location to show the new crew the ropes. read more

My experience was okay, but disappointing. I ordered my drink (they asked for my name) and cake pops. My cake pops were frozen and they didn't even call my name. Horrible customer service at the Starbucks, located in the Vons shopping center. I went on Sunday afternoon, the 30th. Both female clerks were rude & annoyed with the simplest task. They don't write your name on the cups so someone who ordered after me took my venti drink instead of their grande drink which they had ordered. The clerk proceeded to snatch the grande drink off of the counter & tossed the new one at me once the new one was made. I thanked her & got no response. Also had to ask for a tray for my 4 drinks & got that tossed on the counter too. Will never return to this Starbucks. I have always praised Starbucks for their amazing customer service, no matter what location I have been too but this one was extremely disappointing. read more

The employees in the past have been fabulous. My las experience however was very surprising. The barista kept asking her co-worker if she sounded like crap. Weird word choice in my opinion. My kids wanted lemon loafs so we bought 2. When we took them to the table to eat them they were frozen and had frost on them. I went back to let the girl know (thought it might be an issue with the cooler temperature) she said "Yes-I know. I already told your son they were frozen and to let them sit out for 10 minutes". #1- Try not to be a sassy brat when a customer is mentioning your pastries are frozen and not edible. #2- Inform the customer if the food is needing to defrosted. They might choose something else. #3- I was by my son the whole time and didn't hear that information. So don't yell at me. read more

This Starbucks always has nice friendly employees and has never once messed up on my order! The only thing that sucks is they aren't "corporate Starbucks," which means they don't participate in the same programs, such as the holiday beverage one that just passed and they don't sell the same food items, pre-made chai mix, gift items (although they have some) and other things of the sort. But long story short, I love this Starbucks. It's actually the best one we have in Yucaipa. read more

If you're in a hurry to get to somewhere at the top of the Blvd., you would have a better chance of being on time by going to the Starbucks at the bottom of the Blvd. and driving back up, than going through this one. I go to Starbucks everyday if not twice a day. But I'll never go back to this one. I had bought two gifts cards. I have them as a gift and they went to use them and zero balance on them. I was so embarrassed. I called and spoke to someone saying the manger will give me a call back, never heard a thing. So I called the next day, spoke to the manger, she said she's going to look for the transaction and to call her back, so I called her back, and she had left already. I used to love Starbucks, but now that any prudent customer must carry Lysol before dreaming of using the restroom, I was aggressively panhandled several times while waiting for my drink, had to step over and around the passed-out drug addicts slumped over, and was told by the cashier, "it's our corporate policy!" Sorry, but the new Starbutts is just not fun anymore. A delousing station would class up the joint. And perhaps a needle exchange. Sure, Starbutts can go for helping those who choose to abuse illegal drugs. Perhaps they can solve the housing lack for the homeless. I just have to leave a review. I live life on the go Monday through Friday. Last night I took my kids to see Christmas lights and stopped by a different starbucks and had a horrible experience. I was hesitant to giving this company another chance. However, this morning on my way to work I was craving a green tea frap and sandwhich so i used my mobile order app and placed my order. Literally my order was actually ready ontime like it says on the recipet. Than they were so friendly and polite.
