A HK tea room branched off from their main restaurant. They do things a little bit differently as they have their own little bakery going as well. At the time of my visit they had some promotions going on: spend $30+ and get a free plate of fried wings, and something about buy x and 1 bun for free. The staff was friendly and fast. The food came in large portions. Pork chop and chicken steak in spaghetti and garlic sauce - This was a massive dish! Two large chunks of meat (one pork and one chicken) and a lot of spaghetti. The flavour of the garlic gravy was pretty standard but you are definitely getting your moneys worth in food. Deep fried chicken wings - We got a free basket of four wings. But like the other dish pretty standard HK style deep fried wings. So the place isn't a star on my list, but if large amount of food is your thing then I'd recommend trying this place. read more

First time there and the experience wasn't that good. We went for dinner on a weeknight. The pork rice was only good for IG but it's really dry. Not sure it's overly cooked, low quality meat, or both. The store layout is a bakery/ cafe fusion but unlike its name, it is not a restaurant at all. It closes early for dinner on weekdays. We were the only table dining there and literally no one else. The one-and-only-one reason two stars were still given was the nice server. Very attentive. But the food were absolutely sub-par, particularly in the neighborhood. Not recommended. read more

Large portions! Came before the lunch rush on a weekend and was greeted by the friendly staff at the counter. I was a bit confused coming into this restaurant as it's a half bakery (chinese bakery where you can grab your own buns and pay), but also half restaurant. The place was quiet at around 11:20AM on a Sunday long weekend. Filled up by the time I was done eating. Onto the food: Baked chicken tomato sauce on rice 8/10 Really enjoyed this. The chicken was cooked with some crispy outer layer, topped with tomato sauce on rice. The portions here are LARGE and would have been perfect to share between 2 people. Dish also comes with an egg on the plate which I liked. Baked chicken black pepper on rice 8.5/10 This one really hit the spot for me. Crispy outer layer chicken with a black pepper sauce on a bed of white rice. This also came with an egg on the side. Portion of this was also very large. In the end, I packed up half a dish to take home since the portions were so big. Price is a little more expensive than other hong kong cafe quick eats, but I guess for the portion size they give, the price is quite reasonable. Saw that they also sell individual sized mini cakes with special flavours such as durian cheesecake. Would probably come back to give their other dishes and cakes a try! read more

Really more of a 3.5*, but I have bumped it to 4 as feeling generous over the holiday season. This restaurant is part bakery and part HK cafe. There's limited seating, but still felt comfy and modern. It's located at Times Square plaza facing the road. We went through the mall from the other side to avoid walking too far in the cold. I was pleasantly surprised by their offerings and quality of the food! We ordered the baked chicken with black pepper sauce and rice. It came in a huge portion! The chicken was crispy and I loved how it came with tomato, broccoli, and hard boiled eggs. What a nice touch! I recommend that dish for sharing as it's enough for 2 people. The spaghetti with bolognese tasted great as well. Very filling and they didn't skimp out on the cheese. Prices are a bit higher than other HK cafes, but the portion and taste make up for it. Service was very friendly, which is hard nowadays for these restaurants. I wish they could offer customers tea or water when we sit down though as this place is not a self serve. Amazing HK Cafe food ! Located in Time Square Plaza - their entrance is facing the road so you might get lost if you don't look up where it is beforehand. The price of the dishes are slightly higher than other HK cafés but the portions are HUGE. even if you're hungry, you probably still can't finish it all in one sitting. Most of the dishes also come with a small drink. We ordered the Baked Chicken Cutlet with black pepper sauce on fettuccine & Baked Pork Chop + Chicken cutlet with brown sauce on rice. Located in the Times Square plaza off Hwy 7, will need to look carefully as front entrance is small and dark and located on plaza side away from other restaurants. Corn beef and egg sandwich was spot on, ordered bread toasted cuz I like toast, generous filing. 4 large pieces of deep fried chicken wings, be careful as it comes very hot right from the deep fryer. Crunchy exterior with moist meat. First bite is an explosion of hot goodness. Now if you're really hungry, order the pork chop ( or other protein) rice, comes with 2 large slabs of protein slathered in a sauce of your choice. My god, who eats this much for lunch. I can see why this place is as popular as it is! A nice clean restaurant, with good HK cafe style dishes. I enjoyed all 3 dishes that I got here. All had lots of flavour and were tasty. Milk tea was decent as well. I would say it is a little pricey for what it is, especially the cha siu rice but at least the portions were fairly sized. For 3 people, we ordered 2 combos and a snack and had some leftovers to take home. It's good to have another option for an HK style cafe in this area! Came here with a group of 16 people which I understand is a lot to ask for at a HK Café. Despite this, they accommodated our group very pleasantly. My main dish tasted great, the toast was delicious and our group was decently satisfied. There was a slight mix up with my sauce selection, I received garlic but they quickly adjusted it to the Japanese curry. Tip: Visiting in the middle of winter, we found it quite cold inside and so be sure to dress warmly. Also, was not a fan of the bbq pork dish. read more

My favorite would have to be their BBQ pork rice n desserts!!! To celebrate their grand opening, they currently have a special combo for one person or two persons. The place is clean, modern chic and very good selection on food. They also have cakes and buns. New spot in Times Square where the Chinese dessert place used to be. They are currently doing 10% off for opening special. Overall, food was okay with decent portions but not too many options. The servers were nice and restaurant was clean but maybe because they are still new, some things could be improved. For example, they have no tea or water to start you off like most restos. We also don't think they had any condiments (hot oil, etc) for us to use on dishes. For the dishes, the pork cutlet with garlic sauce was the best. My boyfriend had the signature cha sui and egg rice and found it to be a little bit on the sweet side. You can skip this one if you have peanut allergy. They couldn't tell whether it would be safe on their sauce. However, the most interesting out of all is that this was our second visit and they had no issue when we were there a few weeks ago. Just discovered this place recently and went twice in one week! Flavours are very good - especially the salt and chili pork and the crispy pan fried chicken that comes with the vermicelli. Char siu rice is also one of the better ones in the area. The curry was a bit too sweet for my liking. Prices are reasonable for current times, especially with their portions. I visited during covid time. I ordered curry beef brisket on rice and crispy chicken wings. The curry was topped with coconut flakes The beef brisket was very tender. The aroma of curry was also pleasant. If any improvement could be made at all, I would strian the curry sauce before serving because it is somewhat grainy.
