I traveled internationally for two weeks and needed a pet sitter to care for my cat. I decided on Hailee because the cost was reasonable. Throughout the duration of my vacation I was routinely told that my cat could not be found. It seemed like little to no effort was made to find or play with my cat, luckily my family was able to visit and play with my cat using minimal effort. She filled up food but did not fill up the water in the two weeks leading me to believe that she was unreliable, however she did show up everyday and was able to bring in packages. I will not be using her services again in the future, I do not feel that I can trust her with my pet.

Christy graciously came along at the last second when our pet sitting arrangement fell through during the holidays and took care of them with lots of love and care. Despite us having to go out of town again for a whole week soon, we are doing so comfortably knowing that Christy will take great care of them. She will send you text updates of how things went and sometimes with pictures too. She will also turn on the porch light at night and pick up mails for you, which are great additional services. FYI, the Pomeranian is very skittish and anxious with strangers, and she has calmed him down so much quicker than anyone else he encountered.

Their facilities are top notch, but my favorite part is that they divide dogs based not only on size but also activity level. At a different daycare, they had all of the dogs together in one big room, but here our energetic husky is paired with other high-energy dogs of a similar size. This has been such a game changer for her. On days my husband and I work longer, we're confident that she is in great hands and having a fun time. The dogs also have the option of playing indoors or outdoors and easy access between the two. We've paid for some of their services and have no complaints about their grooming or nail trimming. We love that they offer special treats, too, like a birthday treat or pictures with Santa. We also board our husky with them and have had great experiences. Their pricing is very transparent, and they take great care of their boarders. Our girl has a sensitive stomach and requires a more complicated feeding routine, and they were happy to accommodate us. They also kept us updated while we were on a trip when she basically ate a wasp and got stung. They treated her with our permission and sent us photo/activity updates. Also, they post pictures and will print some for you take, which is another small thing we love about Sled & Breakfast!

His normal place sent him a last minute email that they had accidentally overbooked and he would be waitlisted. By last minute, I mean 30 mins before we were going to leave and drop him off. In a panic, we found Country Acres, who was able to take him last minute. They are incredible kind and patient, despite us getting every piece of information wrong. We knew his pup was in good hands, because all of the handlers we met were so nice and understanding, and at pick up explained he had actually ran out of food in the morning and they supplemented. The facility is extremely well maintained, offers additional services to really make your furry family member feel at home or pampered.

We had a cat that was being treated there, and had been for a couple of years. While I can't really say anything was stellar there, I was satisfied with the care, over all. Then came that horrible, fateful day when we most needed our family vet, and we were told to take her to an emergency clinic because they couldn't make time for us. During regular hours. With a dying pet that was their long term patient. It was already an awful day, but I felt so let down by them. So I guess if you have urgent need from your vet, find another office. They will let you down when you most need them. They never even called us to check up on her. Long story short, if you have a crisis with your beloved pet, this clinic isn't going to be there for you. If you just take your pet to the vet for a bare minimum and plan never to have any sort of emergency, ever at all, you might find them adequate. I'd strongly suggest finding another provider.

Look we get that our dog could come back with kennel cough (even if they are vaxed) or some parasite because some other dog gave them something - not that the whole building burned down (which no one told us about! Had to find out via a neighbor who happened to see it on FB). When we politely asked for their insurance info again we were met with "we don't have to answer that and we are now sending anything else to spam and will throw away any letter you send us" I don't know about everyone else but that's not how I think you run a business especially after almost killing 70 dogs.

They are went above and beyond in my opinion. Mathias was comforted and treated like family. They went so far as to clean the carrier and wash his blanket and even give him a thorough and badly needed nail trimming and shampoo. I would highly recommend this business. I was recently very disappointed and angry regarding how our beagle's health was handled just last…read moreweek. I brought him in because he was breathing very fast. First, the vet tells me he has a heart murmur, which really surprised me because he had been going there since we got him as a puppy to 7 years old as of last week and that condition was never brought up before. She did ask to do an x-ray to see if she could see anything about the heart before we had to take him to a dog cardiologist. She comes back and tells me he "might" have a murmur but the breathing was due to pneumonia. I had to then authorize another test to be sent out to find out what kind of pneumonia he had and was sent home with the lowest type of antibiotic until then and a $580.00 bill. Unfortunately, he passed away two days later. I don't understand how she didn't see he had so much fluid in his lungs and either do something to relieve that or keep him for observation. When I called them to tell him he died, all I was told that she was sorry and then transferred me to the receptionist to tell me MORE charges to take care of him from there! We took him to Imperial Animal Hospital instead where they had more compassion and lower prices to offer us during this difficult time. I will NEVER take another one of our animals there again. I feel the vet was very negligent in fully diagnosing his condition at that time. I have not heard another word from them and plan on disputing the charges with our credit card company. BUYER BEWARE!

I quickly got a hold of the Happy Dog Spot, and they helped me with the flooding problem. Happy Dog Spot was so in tune with what was going on around them, and told me where to go to drop the dog off- instead of the main entrance. I was very impressed, and once I dropped my friends dog off to Happy Dog Spot pick up tent they were more then helpful and incredibly kind to the little puppy. I was impressed! and would recommend Happy Dog Spot to anyone who wants a trustworthy pet boarding or day care spot in St. Louis!
