I would give half a star if I could. Stark st animal clinic is not the same. God bless Dr Barry and Dr Powers. The old staff is gone and prices have at least doubled. This is now just a corporate vet. I will wait and see if the treatment works but I did not have a good feeling about the staff or the diagnosis. The reason they have a 3 star rating is because there are still a lot of 5 star reviews here from Dr Barry and Dr Powers. I am looking for a new vet. read more

I'm sitting here waiting for an appointment I made. It's been almost 2 hours after the scheduled time. What's the use for making an appointment if they make you wait this long? I'm sitting here listening to how the clerks handle business, apparently they cater to phone calls first making sure they schedule people appointments so that they can wait in a line to listen to phone calls all day instead of taking care of the business in front of them. I started taking my dog to Dr. Barry several years ago when I lived in Gresham and loved him from the beginning. So did my pooch :) He's very gentle, honest and informative. I've since moved to SE Portland but I make the dreaded drive out to Gresham whenever my pup needs to see the doc - it's definitely worth the commute! read more

Dr. Powers is one of the most incredible vets I've ever come into contact with. I have followed him from his past location to this current one. I am humble enough to say I made the mistake of straying from him but went straight back when I found out what else was out there. We have taken every thing from a guinea pig (with a dry skin condition) to a Duck that developed bumble foot (look it up, I had to, lol). The man knows EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING. He remembers all of his patients it is amazing. Also, one day when Dr. Powers was unavailable, I tentatively agreed to see the other vet, Dr. Barry. The man is not the most...impressively mannered man, but he loves my animals and knows his stuff. He saved my cats life without jumping to the most expensive tests and procedures unlike other offices would do. They do not stick to a strict billing procedure, if they don't feel you need to pay for the office visit, for whatever reason they won't charge you for it. They are real people that understand our love for our animals and our difficult economy. Love love love these two! read more

AVOID THIS CLINIC! I was referred by a friend who previously worked with Dr. Powers but the place is not what it used to be apparently. Had to wait over an hour for my scheduled appointment. Had to return a second day to get lab work done which I had to wait another 30 minutes in the lobby for and then they never called with the results of the lab work, nor answered the phone, nor responded to my 8 + voice mails left over a three week span. Lab work was done on 10/3 and I got a message last week that they lost the blood sample and would need to do the tests again. I will not be returning. The front desk is disorganized. The staff are not familiar with the computer system and they are just all around dysfunctional. Please avoid the headache and watching your animals go untreated and pick another vet. You will be happy you did! read more

UPDATE: Very disappointed. I had prepaid for and made an appointment to have my dog spayed as a condition of her adoption. We needed to reschedule the spay appointment but when I called to do so, they had no record of my appointment. Apparently they moved locations (something I was not informed of when I prepaid for the spay) and there was a problem with the anesthesia. I don't know if they just cancelled all of their surgeries and I wasn't told or what, but we no longer had an appointment. For some reason they were unable to schedule a new appointment and told me they would "call me back to schedule in 2 weeks." One month later, I called them. Curious as to what was taking so long. To my surprise, they were already booked out until the middle of December (my original appointment was on October 17) and the price of the spay had nearly tripled. The receptionist told me that the price was different and I asked why I prepaid so little if it was going to be almost $400--something about bloodwork and pain medicine? Anyway, the receptionist says "I'll check with the vet and see if she will honor your prepaid amount. I'll call you if it won't work out and we can refund your money. Took her a week to call me back and the first thing out of her month after her greeting was "we're going to go ahead and issue you a refund." Just like that. So, now, here I sit with a 7 month old puppy who is on her period. All because apparently these guys can't seem to get their crap together. Below is my original review. I have since removed 3 stars and will not return to Stark Street Animal Clinic. Regardless of the veterinarians. The people you have to deal with to get in to see the vets have made it almost impossible to get in so, it doesn't matter how awesome the vets are..... you might not even get a chance to see one. We were very happy with the service we received from the veterinarian! To me, that is more important than the review to follow which is why I am giving them 4/5 stars. However, I was put on hold almost every time I called and was on hold for anywhere from 5 minutes to getting hung up on. It also took a while to get checked in. Our appointment was at 3:45 and we weren't able to check in until 4:05 because the line was so long (with a nervous dog in a small waiting room, that was a little tough). Then it took a while to get my info and my animal's info into the system which is understandable, but two other people who checked in after we did were taken back before we were. The veterinarian was SO NICE! And my dog--who is usually very shy--was very comfortable considering she got a shot. Oh yea, we were just there for a vaccination..... All in all: 5/5 stars for the veterinarian and maybe 1 or 2/5 for the rest. It took us an hour and a half to get my dog a vaccine and the gals at the front did not give anyone any sort of reassurance or explanation as to why things were taking so long. read more

BZZZZZ wrong answer! Went to Stark Street Vet clinic today just like I have for the last 5 years to get my dog's flea medication. I was informed that he had to have an examination before I could get the medication. This drives up the coast of an already expensive medicine. Dr. Barry and staff always dispensed this without an examination. That is why I always took my animals there and now I will be changing veterinarians ASAP. Very unfortunate but this is what happens with a Corporate takeover. read more

Stay away from this clinic!! Don't let the name fool you, it is not owned by Dr Barry and Dr Powers walked out after a week. This corporation, Well Haven Pet Health has taken a great clinic and ran it into the ground. I was there on the 1st day they opened on Sept, twenty sixth as " Well Haven" and Dr Powers was still there. My dog just needed yearly check up, shots and a blood test to check thyroid. That appt went ok because we got to see Dr Powers, but it was a bit disorganized, Understandably being the 1st day. It went quickly down hill from there! Lost blood sample, multiple phone calls, no return phone calls, hours of waiting. I have been there a total of 4 times now and each time is worse than the time before. Never on time, rude and dysfunctional!!! All the other reviews are true. AVOID THIS CLINIC! I wont be going back! read more

Dr. Gary Powers was very knowledgeable, kind, and trustworthy. The exam and the medications were very affordable compared to what I was quoted at other locations. I came here to get my kitty spayed. I wanted to go somewhere cheaper, but this clinic fit me in a lot faster and my cat was in heat and being a general nuisance. When I arrived the lady at the front desk was on the phone for like 13 minutes while my kitty meowed in terror. After she got off the phone she had me fill out some papers and was pretty nice. I really like that they offer pain meds to take home to help after the surgery for $15. When I came to pick her up the vet was very informative and the surgery went well. Overall a friendly but very busy little clinic. Expect to pay big bucks for your spoiled little buddy. read more

I had a great experience with the new vet that started. My dog has had skin issues for years. Dr Troy Schlines took the time to listen to me, talk through what had been done in the past and provided information on some newer medications and why they are better for my dog - yes it was more expensive, but my dog has not felt and looked this good in forever. When Stark Street Vet was bought out by another corporation we gave them a try. If you love your animals DO NOT take them to the FORMER Stark Street Vet! ! The new Wellvet clinic is a joke. They have zero, nada, zilch care about the different needs of your beloved pet. After a deragatory remark by Dr. Sullivan yesterday in regards to the "bad practices" by the previous vets at Stark Street, we walked out with our 2 dogs records and are heading to Gresham Animal Clinic where Dr. Powers is now practicing. I hope the lady who was there with her Springer Spaniel and her husband with their GSD do the same after being told to email Wellvet with the questions they had on their Spaniels care, even though they had an appointment yesterday, apparently it was just a "vet tech" appointment and not with an actual vet. REALLY???? I told them about Gresham Animal Hospital and I sincerely hope they go there. I also watched with great interest as another client came in and picked up their pets records as well. This place should not be in business and I have no doubt that it won't be for long. I'm certainly spreading the word!! read more

OK - I just had a first hand experience with the new WellHaven Pet clinic. Let me share my experience: 1) I got there 9 minutes early, and a rather harassed blonde girl was manning the check-in station (a laptop on a table). She continued to apologize for not immediately taking care of me, explaining that they were short-handed because one doctor was sick and the normal receptionist was at lunch. So, I had to wait the entire 8 minutes, until 2:30, for my 2:30 appointment. One of the girls that worked at the original place came out and brought us into an exam room, looked over the adoption paperwork that I brought, "pooh-poohed" the Cat-Link service, then did the normal preliminary exam. Weighed the cat, checked his ears, etc. Found ear mites, again "pooh-pooing" Cat-Link for their lack of care, then started a conversation about the transition from Stark Street Animal Clinic to WellHaven. Whereas the original location was pretty much a "Mom & Pop" joint, where the Vets could make decisions on the fly, WellHaven is a corporate entity, with policies and regulations that are not only required but audited. Anybody that works for a corporation knows that you can't get away with a lot of shortcuts that you could when you were independent. That's, apparently, what caused Dr Powers' departure. Don't blame him - lots of people don't want to work for "The Machine" either. Besides, he was working 6 days a week. Now he can essentially free-lance between Paws & Claws and the Gresham Animal Hospital. Overall, the care was excellent, with the same quality that I had at the original location. Dr Roth was very friendly and professional. The exam was free (a carry-over from the original location for new adoptions). I did have to pay for Micro-chipping, nail trim, flea/tick/mite drops, and the Tresaderm for the ear mites. We were out of there less than an hour later, cost about $128 (a fair price for the work). To all those that had extremely negative reviews, I just have to say that I didn't experience anything like them at all. I've set up another appointment for a rabies booster for the cat, and I'll be taking my Golden Retriever there in December after her 1st birthday. read more

I used to go there for Dr. Barry, who retired, so I thought I would try the new owners. I DO NOT recommend this place. The staff there are extremely unprofessional and carry on like high-schoolers. While in the waiting room, I witnessed a grieving family and their ailing dog slowly file into a room directly behind the receptionist. Clearly, a euthanasia was about to take place. No sooner had the door closed, a gaggle of staff began loud conversations and laughing just outside their door, not respecting the family inside. I can't imagine how horrible the family felt. After waiting 40 min. we were seen by a young vet who seemed inexperienced and kept leaving the exam room because she was having trouble with the diagnosis and was looking for information. The technician who cleaned my cat's ears was very rough with him and I believe she hurt him, because he's been shaking his head and pawing at his ears since I brought him home. My appointment should have taken 30-45 min, but it took 2 hours, plus they attempted to charge me for a blood test we didn't need. The entire staff appears to be very disorganized and I saw a lot of talking and dithering around. The majority of them are very young and behave much too casually and immaturely in full view of everyone. This clinic is now owned by a corporation, WellHaven, who likely recruit their staff right out of school. I will not be back. I've already made an appt. with Dr. Powers at his new location to give my cat proper care. read more

I have used Stark Street Animal Clinic and Dr Berry and Dr Powers for years. Every since Dr Berry bought the clinic. Both doctors have been very knowledgeable and very kind. My kitty Pyewacket was spayed recently and she did very well. Chloe goes in next week for Spaying. I trust them and only wish aging could be reversed on these two wonderful gentle men. read more

Best vet I've been to. They treat my cats really well. One of the girls there actually decided not to take my kittens temperature because he was too small and she didn't want him to feel uncomfortable. These doctors don't push ridiculous expensive tests, they don't treat you like you're ignorant about your pet. They are truly just nice, caring people. They even have a coupon so you can spay your cat for $50. I've gotten all my cats checked out there, and two of them have been spayed here. Always a nice experience. read more

My MinPin was under the care of Dr. Barry from the time she was 5 weeks old to the time of her passing at 13 y.o. I still grieve for her but I have 2 Yorkies that are helping ease the pain. This clinic is outstanding in down to earth, reasonably priced pet care. They are very aware of how strong the emotional ties are to our fur babies and give very informative reasons for any diagnostic procedures they feel necessary and they do not PUSH....if you say NO, they respect and honor your decision without judgement. Dr. Barry is the most compassionate, intelligent and respectful person I know who also happens to be an outstanding Vet. I do not know him on a personal level but the professional contact I have had with him speaks volumes about the type of person he is. I have heard nothing but great accolades about him as a vet. I am also dreading the day the Dr. Barry decides to retire......scary thought! I just hope he hand picks whoever replaces him. I would trust Dr. Barry''s judgement on just about ANYTHING! I would rate 0 if I could. I had taken my dog in for annual check up and expressed concerns to the vet tech with the change of ownership, etc. We discussed for a few minutes of the challenges of change and what not, but I was willing to give it a chance; and then I expressed that there were several negative reviews on the new clinic and it seemed that the vet tech went on the defense and not in any way trying to acknowledge my concerns and feelings; in other words; no attempt of utilizing customer service skills in keeping a customer/client. It got worse when the vet came in the room; no greeting what so ever; placed her laptop on the counter; stared at it for a minute; and in a very loud voice asked if I'd rather see Dr Powers at his new location; I just stared at her for a minute and said I was giving this visit a chance; and then explained the procedures in getting rabies shot and other work in order to be given flea meds; which during all that she was talking very loudly; and that point I told her that this is not going to work; then she abruptly opened the door and then I left. It's too bad that customer service skills were totally absent. No matter the technical skills that may be evident; it's the customer services skills that are just as important in building; keeping; and maintains business/clients. read more

I would give this a zero if I could, after they became well haven pet hospital this is the worst place possible they should be shut down. We came in to give our puppy her second shot and to ask about a rash which they were supposed to give a shampoo for puppy but instead gave antibiotics and no shots. We got home she was a happy puppy and everything, we gave her the damn pills at like 11:30 pm and woke up at 6am to finding our puppy puking and having water stool it's been 3days since our pup got sick with no food and not drinking looking like she gonna die. Called the vet back they keep saying they gonna call back and no ever does plus we showed up to see if they can help and they declined us saying we are in there way of other appointments. So we have to take her to emergency for help cus these asses holes won't do anything and it is all their fault. Wouldn't recommend this clinic to any one. read more

These doctors are wise with years of experience as veterinarians. They are not about making big bucks but rather giving an honest assessment of your animal's condition, and doing what is practical. They are incredibly reasonable financially and do not charge for unnecessary testing, etc. I am so grateful these veterinarians are in my community. read more

I have been going here for years and seeing Dr.Barry, I went back today for the first time since his retirement and I will never be back. When I called to make the appointment I double check with the lady the prices and everything seemed to be the same. When I went and was time to pay I was sprung with a $40 visit fee for each of my 2 dogs. If anyone remembers there was never a visit fee before unless you were there specifically for an exam. The lady who said was she the manager tried telling me that I was already told that which I WASNT and also tried to tell me that this fee has always been charged which it NEVER was. I was expecting at bill of $150 and ended up with a bill of $225, she ended up taking $40 for one of my dogs exams off but She was VERY rude and condescending. The actual vet who saw are dogs was very sweet and nice but I can't go back with the kind of service the other lady gave us. I had to take some of my rent money to pay this bill because she threatened to send me to collections. I seriously miss Dr.Barry and Dr. Powers who actually cared!!It's sad that this is who his clinic has gone too. read more

A HORROR SHOW We took our cats to see Dr. Barry for almost 10 years since we lived just down the street and thought he was a great vet for a long time. very economical and just what you needed. but just a little cranky or snippy at times if you started to question any of his treatments stating 'I've been doing this for 50 years'. our little precious loving Persian had a problem with itching and biting for years and flaky skin but I could never find fleas but the Dr. always found flea droppings and prescribed flea medicine and his whole life nobody told us how to apply it back and forth about a 3'' line on the back of his neck. all vets just say put it on the neck at the shoulder blades so it never got applied right. and the package doesn't tell you that either so millions of cats aren't getting the flea medication administered properly. it was just cortisone shots that relieve the itching for awhile. the first time I went I saw someone coming out crying with their dog in a plastic bag and I saw other pets coming out passed away at times as well but didn't think too much about it at the time and then I noticed him making mistakes later on like when I brought him in for the fleas again and told him I poured aloe juice on his back to heal the bloody scabs from biting and my mom called me the next day saying he threw up blood all over and had aloe poisoning and called the emergency poisoning line that told her to give him a bath and wash it all off. I came over right away but there was nothing to wash it was dry and gone he licked it all off. I didn't find out until he was put to sleep the poison line never told her to have a blood test done for kidney failure resulting in weight and appetite loss treatable with iron and when I told the good Dr. he should have ordered a blood test immediately if he did poor little pepper might still be alive today. so I thought everything was O.K. then about a month later we brought him back when blood started dripping out of his mouth but the walk in hours were 1-4 and it was 4 0' clock and Dr. Powers wouldn't see him. they told us to go to the pet hospital about 2 miles down the road but it was more like 4 miles and by the time we got there the bleeding had stopped. so that was twice his life could have been saved if somebody had been more competent. everything that could have went wrong did I still hate myself for not knowing what was happening and doing and loving him more. I feel so bad and guilty I can't live with myself the pain is unbearable. but the worst part is when I brought him in the last time full of hope for helping him Dr. Barry said he would do a blood test and have some results back in three hours but there were red flag warning signs I over looked because I trusted him and took him at his word. I thought he should have taken the blood right there and began treating him on the spot. he had lost 2 1/2 lbs. from 8 1/2 to 6 and looked like a skeleton from not being able to eat just a few bites once in awhile and only wet food. but he was still walking around, scratching on the couch and even went out on to the patio and his tail wad still moving up and down and purring when I pet him. he was bad but not critical the dr. didn't even try to help him. I told him in a letter if it was his mom or the president he wouldn't have just tossed him to the side like that. he put him in his box and sent him to the back telling them to put him in a guarded crate, like I would really try to come back and take him out of there. if I would have known he wasn't going to do anything I would have taken him to Banfield or the vca pet hospital. he was dishonest and deceitful leading me to believe he was doing a blood test to find out what was wrong I deserved to at least know that. and when I put him on the floor to see how he walked he watched him slide around with his back legs because his legs naturally went out to the side that was his genetics and his breed how he was made and he had long nails too so he couldn't get a grip on the smooth floor but he walked fine at home on the carpet. and also he mis-diagnosed and over looked his ear infection stating I thought he always walked like that which as an insulting comment and then later thinking he couldn't stand because of the same way he walked. and the ear infection made him walk sideways the time he came in for that. I've had the worst luck with vets and dr's at dove Lewis they also missed his ear infection saying it was a blood clot in his hind quarters wanting to do hundreds of dollars in tests. and when I was at the desk wanting to pay for his blood test she kept looking at the computer and finally said you can pay for it when you come back in case there's any medication to take home when I think she knew he wasn't coming home. I told my mom I left him there when she asked if he was home. then she called and dr. barry said I haven't even ordered a blood test because it'd be a waste of time. not a waste of time to save your pet read more

My dog had an appointment that was made well over a month ago to get her spayed. They called a week prior to confirm the appointment with me. I should have known that when they confirmed it for another time, that something was completely off. Apparently, after checking, they called me back and said they were incorrect and that my dog's appointment was indeed on the said date I had told them. Today, my daughter brings in my dog for surgery and is told they cannot do it. What?!!!! Then why did they call me to confirm the appointment in the first place?!!! From all the reviews it sounds like they already knew they couldn't do the surgery prior to calling me to confirm. They didn't bother to call to let me know or reschedule? I planned time off work to take care of her! I cannot trust my dog to this incompetent new clinic. Also, I didn't know that Dr. Powell had been let go. He was the main reason we stayed with the clinic. If he's not doing the surgery then I'm going somewhere else. I hope Dr. Powell finds a better place than this to practice. They have lost my trust and my business. This clinic is not the same clinic I know. Do not go here! Unorganized and horrible customer service too. read more

This used to be the best vet office I have taken all four dogs I have owned over several years here. However they have been bought out. I have been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt however i have now been in three times never once seen the same doctor twice always someone new. My dogs are always in for regular check ups and on regular flee and worm medications. Very healthy. First incident I took my rescue dog in to get a check up and vaccines. They gave him the full load of vaccines without checking his previous records. After giving him the shots they then checked his records to inform me he wasn't even due but that it was okay he still got the shots today....i still had to pay for the un needed vaccines. Was told to return in three weeks for booster. When i returned they had no idea what vaccine he needed and proceeded to try and give him the full set again including rabies which he had three weeks prior. I became frustrated and explained i knew for a fact he did not need these shots and only a booster. They then theirs to argue with me that i was wrong and their records said differently. I stood my ground. They left to I assume figure out what the heck they are doing...returned multiple times still to inform me they were looked for his records? When I'm assuming she figured things out she only rushed in gave him one shot and rushed out... even though we were in three weeks prior for exam we had to pay for new exam and one booster $80... Still I tried to be positive and proceeded to return to give them well a third chance..... I went in to receive rabies record on my other dog was then told he needed all new vaccination and was a year overdue. I asked why i wasn't sent a post card or call to inform me he was due they had no answer. I scheduled for his update and was told the visit would be about $70. When i returned for his visit they took him out of the room without me present to give him his needed vaccines "new policy" they told me. They then returned and informed me it would be a $120 bill. I asked if that included my flea medicine they said they would not refill my flea meds without additional testing first. I explained he has been taking this medication for fleas for three years and this has been protected from fleas worms and heart worms regularly. I was never required to have additional testing before when purchasing this prevention med. Was told it did not matter and he would need the additional testing for me to receive the flee meds. I am extremely unhappy with this office and frustrated currently looking for recommendation to a new office. read more

After multiple trips where the front desk was kind of cold and rushed, the doctor not being clear about how to measure the medication dose, not properly putting the strength of the meds on the bottle (our current vet said that isn't actually legal how they didn't clearly show the exact strength of the meds on the bottle) and the doctor also trimming my rats teeth (with rusty snippers) so short she couldn't eat hard food for days, I'm just done with this place. Also, they literally doubled their neuter fee & didn't give us any pain meds to take home or anything when we took in our second pair of boys. When I *politely* mentioned this the front desk just said "sorry" & didn't offer an explanation. I don't mind paying that much but would have just gone to an actual exotic vet practice if I had known it was no longer $60 each but $120 each. The offices are also kind of dirty compared to other vets we have visited... We are sticking with SW Animal Hospital as our rat's vet now & will not be returning to Stark Street. Just wanted to update my review because I wouldn't recommend them to anyone now. 2 stars because the surgeries went ok- my boys healed fine from it, and the doctor seems like a nice guy. read more

This was a horrible clinic i ever been, when i came to my appiotment i waited for an hour untell they actually can take a look and give shots to my puppy the ladies in front desk were careless they were most about taking care of phone calls but didnt even pay attenttion whos waiting in front of the desk , whats the point making appointments when you have to wait forever. Second DR.BARRY was the most heartless and disrespectful animal doctor I met, when my 9 week old puppy just start crying and was a little bit biting which all puppies do that small age because they are not fully trained that age, after doctor saw that puppy tried to bite , Dr.Barry grabs him painfull by his neck and start choking him, my puppy from that hurtful pain pees himself,and was painfully screaming like his getting killed, I told Dr.barry what are you doing?, he was like I know what I'm doing I work with animals 50 years dogs can't bite if they bite then I have to do something that they will stop, " EXCUSE ME" IT'S A "PUPPY" that is only 9 weeks old are you kidding me , You work for 50 years and you dont know that all puppies at 8-9weeks bite, esspecially when there teething, so when puppies will cry or bite what you gonna do???grab hard and painfull by there neck, If thats your way to do it then your a horrible and heartless person with puppies! then After he gave my puppy a shot he left right away I couldnt even say a word. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE A PERSON OF COLOR. This by far has been the WORST customer service I have ever had to deal with. If you go here and Amy, a woman with BLONDE hair, blue eyes, and is about 5'5 or 5'6 LEAVE IMMEDIATELY. She is extremely rude and has no care for good service. I accompanied my mother LAST week for some pills since my dogs got flees, my mother speaks really good English and has no trouble communicating, but obviously doesn't look Caucasian. We went up at EXACTLY 9 AM, when the clinic opened last Saturday to pick up these pills. Amy told us we needed to come back before 5 PM because the dogs needed to be seen by the vet. We let her know when this usually happens we never have to see the vet, she insisted again that we come back later and we left it at that. We returned at 3:45 that same day and were waiting 30 mins before she bluntly asked us "what do you want". I kindly let her know we needed to get pills for the dogs and she said "you need an appointment." My sister who accompanied us earlier that day, reminded her what she told us. Amy grew frustrated and told us that walk ins are from 9 AM - 12 PM. Confused, we reminded her again what she had said to us and she said : "I'm sorry but it's what it is." I said to her that it's fine, and we will return another time. Today we returned at 9:30 AM, and went up to the front desk asking AGAIN for the pills for our dogs. A quick disclosure, they are NOT new to the system, we have gone to this vet for many years. Amy told us to sit and she would help us in a moment because the dogs HAD to see the vet for this. WE WAITED TWO AND A HALF HOURS! While waiting two other walk ins, yes WALK INS went up to her for the same reason and she gave them the same pills we asked for. All she did was look them up in the system and handed over the pills. My mother then waited in line and said to her "I just saw you gave the same pills we have been asking for since last week to those two walk ins. You told us we had to see the vet but it seems clear to me that's not the case." Amy then said "well what do you need the pills for?" My mom replied "for the fleas, the same thing I asked you for LAST WEEK, and TODAY." Amy then said "well I thought you asked to see the vet." What the hell???? By a miracle my mother kept calm. Amy then out of nowhere said "I'm not going to argue with you! Do you want the pills or not?!?" She literally yelled at my mother. In front of customers. My mother kept her cool (I DONT KNOW HOW) and paid for the pills and left. To top it all off, my sister then returned to the front desk to ask for her name, waited in line for 15 minutes, and as soon as she was next Amy GOT UP, and left to the back, leaving my sister unattended. My sister then asked her coworker what her name was and that was when we discovered her name was Amy. We have never dealt with this before, and are not sure why this happened given how sweet the vets are usually to us. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE, and if you do, STAY AWAY FROM AMY! Great vet. We go to Dr Powers who gives excellent care. We have two small dogs one who is over 13 years old and has been in 3 times so far this year. This vet is also reasonably priced. Only downside is that there is often an extra wait once you get there even when you have an appointment. this is due to how busy they are though. read more
