Such a great spot! Love that there are so many different food options - making it a great spot, especially for a group with different interests and preferences. There were about 5-7 food trucks offering a variety of different things. We had the pizza from Vittoria (which is a permanent spot), drinks from the main bar, and cookies from the cookie food truck. There is a lot of outdoor seating and some under warm heaters, making it a good option even in the colder weather. There is plenty of room for kids to run and play. Loved that you give them your credit card when you enter and check out only once when you're leaving, making it easy to add food and drinks to your tab without having to pay each time. read more

This is the coolest place in Savannah!!! I had no idea what to expect when I went with a couple of friends to hear a band playing. When you first get there you need to show your ID and then you go to the window to put in your credit card. I didn't really understand why I was doing this...but I found out later. When you walk in the space its a large court yard....FULL of food trucks! At first I thought this was because of the band....but NOPE. I don't know if it's everyday but food truck will be parked here for people to try different foods from Savannah. There is a bar where you can order drinks but you can get anything from Pizza to taco to even Leopold's Ice Cream!!! Now the really cool part is, when you go to a food truck to order your food they ask for your last name and they put your order on your credit card so you don't have to waste time pulling out your card etc which is the coolest thing ever!!!! The event/band was really fun and the drinks were awesome including the staff. I have been here twice and have loved every second of it!!! Highly recommend. Passing through Savannah to Sarasota, FL. I always wanted to check out Savannah. So here I am. Checked into the hotel and realized I only had 40 minutes to get to this food truck yard. It was closing at 10 pm. Made a quick trip there but only the Pizza joint was open. Food trucks were gone... sad. I will give 5 stars for the recycled shipping container and the industrial look though. I live in Rhode Island, where we have plenty of Italian pizza, particularly Neapolitan style joints. Its hard to beat the pizzas in the Italian section of Providence, aka Federal Hill. I have to tell you, Vittoria here is awesome! This is my first time in Savannah, but I did not expect to find a real, charcoal fired Neapolitan pizza. A great find! The pizza ordered was La Davia, a spicy red pepper and soppresatta pizza, as the name implies it was devilish hot but the thin crust and was fired just right. It goes well with craft draft beer served at the bar. I have to come back here again on my way back up north to try out other pizzas and food from the truck. read more

Love the idea but missed the mark for us. The food was just ok especially for the price. IMO, $14 or so for a burger, sandwich or salad means I want to walk away satisfied & happy. Totally did not happen for either of us. I also felt there weren't enough food or non-alcoholic drink choices. Came here on a Wednesday late afternoon for a couple beers and something to eat. They use a credit card on file and you order at the bar or food truck or their pizza place so don't have to exchange cc or cash. ( oh no cash due to covid). Service at the bar was ok. The concept of a casual open air hang out with good music, food trucks, picnic tables and string lights is inviting. Don't come however if you're wanting some neighbourliness. What makes the tacos interesting is the taco shell was made with rye and there was...gosh, now I'm embarrassed that I forgot what delicious oil they were dripping with. But did I mention it was delicious? A bit overpriced, the bar was out of stock of quite a few things (again might blame the circumstances) and the bartenders might be new because their mixology needs work. But the staff was friendly and brought water bowls for the dogs. The giant floor fans were on and tables covered so the space was pleasant even on a wet day over 90 degrees. The atmosphere is is an A+ and there's a great selection of food trucks. The drinks are small and premixed, which is okay except they're EXPENSIVE. The service is average with an attitude. The food is okay. The music is WAY too loud, and if you're there to socialize, you won't hear your friends. All of this still wouldn't normally be enough for me to leave a bad review, but then I got the bill, AND the hold they put in my card. The bill for 2 drinks and dinner for two was over $100 for food truck food and premixed drinks. The part that put it over the top was the $150 hold on my credit card. When I called to inquire, their lasse faire attitude and carefully crafted let me know that they get a lot of these calls. They held $150 hostage from my account for 5 days, and apparently this is regular business practice for them. I'm not impressed. read more

The place is cool, very cool. Shipping containers are an awesome recycle. They've got 4-5 yard games, and good amount of seating. We didn't get the pizza but it looked really good. I like the check-in and check-out idea, will probably save a lot of time waiting at the bar when it gets packed. It felt like this and Two Tides could be the heart of the night life scene in the Starland District. They had two food trucks when I went, I think they could fit three. I worry about how busy the place will get on a weekend night. Only downside is that this isn't historic district, so you can't leave with your drink. We'll definitely be back again soon. read more

We really enjoyed our first visit. It's a great place to go with the family or with a few friends. My only complaint would be how long it took to get anything.. even into the yard itself. Only about 2 people were working the front which is really all they have room for, but it makes for a slow entrance and exit. The bar "express lane" was no faster than just walking up to the bar itself, the line got long fast. So if you see it short, run to the line! Our food was amazing. I got the sliders from the PROWL truck for my son, and a cheeseburger for myself. Great flavor, great burger! The fries were big steak cut fries!! You got filled up!! My brother had the pork ribs from the Japanese themed truck, it was delicious!! It looked good smelled good and tasted excellent!! Great concept and well executed. Got me thinking how to do it in our town. The variety of foods was great and the beer selection was really good as well. One flaw: We ordered pizza and were supposed to get a text. The text never came and I was beyond hungry at that point so I ate a cold pizza. To the employee's credit, he insisted he make another one but I was too hungry. He took it off the bill - which is a credit to the service. I've been to Starland multiple, multiple times, but I wanted to write this review because of what happened specifically tonight. To preface, Starland has been a fun experience every time we've went, and the dining experience has always been fun and original. The drinks are great and reasonably priced. Tonight was especially busy, and the bartenders and bar-backs were wonderful and incredibly efficient. One, a red-headed man with a beard and bun, went out of his way to get me a drink that was lost in the chaos, which I really appreciated. Later on, this same man helped me and my group of friends to get away from an intoxicated man that was harassing my group. Because of him specifically, I felt safe and we had a great experience. To reiterate, this place has great atmosphere, food, drinks, and especially bar people. To the bar man, thank you and you deserve a raise! read more
