I ordered flowers because I thought it was a local service (of course all flower delivery uses local service so not even sure what I was thinking). They are not in any way local. They canceled the order at 4am with an email and no other alert so I had no idea. They say they will refund me in 5-7 days which seems excessively long. Customer service took well over a half hour and no resolution. Just go with 1800 flowers - they got it done within hours of me trying to salvage my anniversary flowers. I would give zero stars if I could. They took my money and didn't deliver the flowers to a grieving friend. When I called they told me my card had declined. I explained I received a confirmation email and that I could see the charge pending on my account so they took the money. The were very rude. They told me I needed to contact my bank and hung up on me. I called back asking to speak with a supervisor who was of course not available. I was excited to see that they offer the same day local delivery to my mother-in-law's address, so I placed an online delivery for her birthday for over $100. They did accept my payment and the order went through. After placing the order I received an email stating that the address that I gave is outside of their delivery area, and that they would refund my money. I thought it was odd that it listed the city as their service area and now they're saying that it's not anyhow I went to Plan B and ordered from another flower shop. In the meantime, money was tied up in the card and that was over a week ago and now I am not able to get a hold of them and I am still yet to be refunded. It looks like I will have to go to my bank to get this resolved. Now that I've read the previous reviews, I see that other people have gone through the same experience. I wish that I have read the reviews before placing my order, and I would not have used this flower shop to begin with. Less than an hour later, I got another email saying the order couldn't be delivered and that I would receive a refund within 5-10 days. I contacted my bank to check whether the charge had already gone through, and sure enough, the merchant had debited my account within the hour. Now I'm stuck waiting 5-10 days to see if the refund actually shows up. Based on all the complaints I've seen, I have a feeling I'll be calling my bank after the 10 days are up to have them handle getting my money back. Their website claims to accept American Express, which I tried to use first, only to have it rejected because the merchant doesn't actually take that card.
