Went to Stars for Breakfast and this place was a great little diner! Plexiglass is us between all booths and then they skip every other booth also. Nice home style food and delicious. Huge servings! Leftovers will be eaten later. Service was very fast and Tara, our server, took great care of us. We hope to go there again before we leave. They are open for all meals. Biggest problem is there's not much parking. Our waitress Audrey was excellent. Next day! For lunch. Burger with fries plain pasta with butter and parmesan, grilled shrimp on garden salad and the adult Mac and cheese which was tried by all and the favorite! Food-I had breakfast - the best home fries I ever had in my life. Instead of rye bread , I had their corn bread- it was absolutely delicious, ( mine you I hate corn bread) The coffee was delicious, my eggs over easy made to perfection , challah French toast - again the best I ever eaten. Bacon nice and crispy. ( I hate bacon that isn't cook all the way through). This is by far the Best Breakfast Place I ever been too, bar none. The service : our waitress was absolutely wonderful. Morgan is a very professional, pleasant, and very knowledgeable about the cuisine. She recommended peppermint, hot chocolate drink that was amazing . Ambiance - a wonder place to visit with friend and family. It was like being at home. A safe place for children and old age like . Great family atmosphere. It's been years since we've eaten here. Now, I remember why. Food was meh. The House Roasted Turkey was clearly deli meat. Not good deli meat, either. The server was nice but did not introduce themselves. The noise level was ridiculous and made it difficult to converse. The bar was very loud, and there were children running amok in the dining area. I thought that was very rude. No wonder why they all were miserable. Also the place gets busy so it would make sense of why it should be 68. Lastly, the food. It's mediocre at best. Wow! This place is so so good and so friendly. Our bartender Kyle was so great and so attentive. He always made sure our drinks were full and gave us the best suggestions on what to get. I got the shrimp scampi and it was to die for! I was worried the lemon sauce in the scampi would be over powering and it wasn't at all. I have been to Starts countless times for their breakfast but finally tried their lunch menus and it did not disappoint. The tater tot's were almost like drugs I could pop those things like pills! A rich creamy mashed potato with a subtle hint of cheese and a piece of bacon in each one! I also tried the brisket grilled cheese which was OK some aspects of it were dry but it did come with a side of gravy that you can dip it with. Highly recommend dipping almost every bite. Stopped on the way back from a 3-day weekend at Nantasket Beach - around 11:30 AM Sunday. Hoping for some seafood based on other Yelp reviews. Waited 20 minutes for a table for four, only to find out that Sunday's only had breakfast and brunch. So, rather than leave and find a place for lunch on a Sunday, we decided to go with breakfast. Great breakfast - typical entrees - sausage, bacon, eggs, potatos and bread. Special dish was an egg white veggie omelet and grilled muffin. Nice place, very difficult parking lot (I would be surprised if they had 20 spaces) and ended up on the street. Great food and service! While visiting over the past few years I've eaten at many places in the area. This place is hands down the best.

Wife and I not from this coast so were worried about ability to find gluten free restaurants out east. Well, here's a really good one. The food was amazing, cooked to perfection. I had the gorgonzola crusted sirloin, just,.....wow. My wife, who has gluten allergy got Salmon over rice and asparagus. Not one spec left on her plate. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place!!! We had a fairly large group with 2 small children, and needed separate checks for our party. Our waiter, Daniel D was amazing! He was attentive and provided great suggestions for pairings with our meals. The Pasta Special was my meal of choice, which was the scallops with a pesto pasta. I was able to try the Clam Chowder which was equally amazing! It was probably my favorite meal over our entire 5 day visit to Boston! Daniel was wonderful and prompt with our items, and took special care with the children and was understanding and compassionate when the one child began to have a meltdown. I've been coming here for over 20 years and have always loved that they made an effort to offer a little different, more exciting fare than other restaurants in the area, their willingness to accommodate groups, and for those who like, the draft beer list is amazing! (And yes, they switched the menu up a bit as well recently.) So I have not eaten out much at all since the pandemic, but out of necessity stopped in one day for takeout, knowing I'd get a good burger there. They asked if it was an allergy or preference, and when I opened bag up I saw there was a sticker on the container certifying it was gluten free. What confused me was there were french fries in the container. Let me repeat myself, gluten free French fries!!! (that comment is for those of us who get told we can have a salad. ) Most restaurants use fries coated in flour for extra crispness, but even if they don't, that oil is shared with flour coated foods and not safe for GF people.
