We went for breakfast for the first time last weekend and accidentally got there 10 minutes early which turned out to be a good thing since a large line formed. I loved that their breakfast sandwiches were straight to the point: bread, eggs, cheese and your choice of meat. I feel like those kinds of places are always the best because their simple ingredients are high quality. Coffee was amazing too. Simple iced latte. Came to Stasios on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. I walked in and even though it's a bit hectic and was pretty busy, the staff was helpful in guiding us where to order and how the process worked. After reviewing the menu, we decided on the stasio sandwich. We got our food quickly and decided to take it away and eat elsewhere with it being so busy. I will say the price and speed of the restaurant were good, but the sandwich was not my favorite. I do think it was our selection as the bread and ingredients were good, but just not my preference in flavor as a whole. I had the Italian sub and was In between the pistachio lobster tail or ricotta cheesecake which is what I got since they were out of the lobster tail pastry (oh well next time!) Everything about this place reminded me of our favorite South Philly dives. The food was top notch and literally brought tears to my wife's eyes. Made us super nostalgic for Philly. The rolls especially. So so good and the perfect delivery vehicle for the delectable ingredients in each sandwich. Reminiscent of Sarcone's. This place is an absolute gem. First time visiting. Was downtown to do some banking and asked Yelp for lunch recommendations. Stasio's was on my list and so glad I finally got there. Lunchtime on a Friday. The place was packed! As was the parking lot? Once I got inside, it was immediately apparent why it is so popular. I told the lady at the front counter that it was my first time, and they set me up with a personal tutorial and tour. I wanted everything I saw. For lunch I got a roast beef sub. The meat and the bread are made in-house and the freshness came shining through. I also purchased a chicken parm sandwich for later. From the deli I got some of the olive mix, a container of caprese mix, some Italian cookies, some fresh Parmesan cheese, a bottle of Moscato and a couple Italian sodas. I have enjoyed everything. Anxious for the family to dig into the olives and caprese tomorrow. I noticed the breakfast sandwich after I completed my order: pork roll, egg and cheese on a roll, a New Jersey classic! Came to Stasio's as a first timer on a Saturday afternoon. Figured that it would be busy, but definitely didn't realize how busy it would be. For me, though, that's a good sign! We ordered some beef barley soup and split the Stasio Sandwich. My husband and I loved both. We didn't realize that it is also a mini market giving you the opportunity to purchase other Italian goods. While we didn't buy anything, we did look around and were impressed by the quality of their items. They have a little coffee bar in there, too. Why haven't I been here sooner! So I took this route home from downtown which I normally don't, but was very grateful that someone was reversing out of their parking spot! I am originally from New York, so I thought to myself, this is a delicious and solid choice for me to have! I also noticed that they serve cappuccinos and they have an espresso machine, which I will be tryingtheir Beverages the next time I go! I asked for the bacon to be super crispy and unfortunately it was not, but now I know not to get it. It's also a little bit on the thicker side so if that's your jam, then this is for you. I'm not sure if they put salt and pepper in the sandwich but it needed a little. Once I got home, I just added some truffle hot sauce on it and it was perfect! I also got a lobster tail, some rainbow cookies and a cannoli, all of them are exceptional! My husband has been here many times for meetings and and is always raving about it. I've had people tell Me that these were the best sandwiches they have ever had and I don't think I can agree. Maybe I got the wrong sandwich and getting a cold sandwich vs a hot one was my mistake. As soon as they learned we were first timers, they took initiative to explain how the deli works. I also think they have an authentic feel in their shop that adds to the ambiance. We ordered the Stasio and Cuban. I was told the Stasio was the most popular. After trying them both, I preferred the Cuban a bit more! But both were good. Next time, I'd love to try their meatball sub because it looks incredible and I think that it may potentially change my rating down the line! This is quite the gem over here in the milk district. As soon as you walk in the door you're greeted and offered a tour if you've never been there. A lot is happening inside, but everything has been great. My go to sandwich is the Stasio- the peppers on top with the balsamic and fresh deli cuts is one of the best sandwiches you can get in the area. There's a dessert case as well where you can pick what you want. Next to the dessert case you have some drink options you wouldn't easily find elsewhere. Plus they have giant glass Coca Cola for sale which is fun. I would definitely recommend stopping by, but we warned parking can be a bit of a pain especially if the brewery is busy so plan accordingly. read more

The deli meats tasted so high-quality and the sandwiches were massive for the price, in my opinion. Wow, what a fantastic place. The size of these subs is huge! My dad ordered the American! He could only finish half of it. He said that this place reminded him of the Italian deli snack in Massachusetts. You could hear the cooks in the kitchen talking and the food mart selection was great! He said he would be back. Their meatball parmigiana sub is an absolute MUST HAVE (but my spirit animal is a meatball so it does depend on if you like meatballs or not). I was trying to select a bottle of wine to go with sub, and the staff were super helpful in this. There isn't a huge wine selection... but they do have really good ones there! This spot was on the Top Places to Eat in Orlando, so of course, I had to try it! I convinced my coworkers to join me for lunch, and there were six of us in total. As we entered, we were promptly greeted by a friendly staff member who asked if it was our first time and guided us through the ordering process. The establishment is small with limited seating, so it's a good idea to have a plan in case you can't find a seat. Once our food was ready, the staff brought it over to us, and we managed to grab spots at the counter. They have a bar style seating, along with outdoor seating if you'd like to sit outside. Stassio's is worth is worth the drive I have to make to enjoy their subs and market. I have had multiple sandwiches but the chicken parm vodka, has had me in a chokehold for about 4 months. It is easy for quality to hide amongst complex recipes but simple straight forward dishes have to have excellent ingredients because there are fewer components. The bread is soft, the chicken cutlets are juicy, the cheese is strong and the sauce is so rich and flavorful coming together like the perfect Italian sandwich Voltron. I finally made it to Stasio's, and now I was I lived closer! We stopped in before heading over to Harry P. Lou Gardens for Dazzling Nights. When we walked in, we must have looked lost and confused. A member of the staff came from behind the counter to say hello and ask if we had ever been there before, we of course said now. They explained to us the process of ordering and paying, and told us about some of the meats and that they make their bread in house daily. I asked a couple questions about different sandwiches and they were quickly answered, which helped me narrow down what I wanted. I went for the steak sandwhich, which is served hot. I also ordered a side of what I would call a cous cous salad. I browesed the shop for a moment, picked out a soda, and headed to the coutner to pay. About 5 minutes later our food was ready. It was love at first bite. Wow that steak sandwhich was so good. The meat was full of flavors, the toppings dripping with goodness, and the bread so soft. There was a nice heat that would build, this was from the hot peppers on the sandwich. I devoured the sandwich in now time. The cous cous salad was very enjoyable, it had such a nice fresh flavor. The cranberries add a nice sweet finish to it. We loved the food, the staff, and the vibe here. When we are in the area, we will stop back in. Per recommendation, I tried the Stasio which is a sandwich with various cured meats, cheese, and a delicious pickled red pepper type topping. We made plans to eat breakfast at Stasio's after the Milk Run 5k this past weekend. As we approached we realized many, many other people had the same idea. Stasio's opens at 9am and there were about 30 of us waiting outside for them to open. I anticipated long waits to order and to get our food but I was in no rush so it was no big deal. I raced inside to use the restroom before ordering food, assuming my friends would still be in line when I was finished. I exited the bathroom and all 5 of my friends had already ordered their food! I was shocked! I hopped in the food line which moved quickly, and ordered my food. Next up I switched to the drink/payment line which also moved quickly. I ordered a coffee and a pastry, my coffee was out within minutes. I was waiting for my food and the lovely young man behind the counter said he could come find me if we were going to sit outside. He brought my sandwich out to our table when it was ready. Overall the efficiency and service was truly impressive. They handled the crowd flawlessly! As for my food and drink, I got the breakfast sandwich with egg, cheese and Taylor Ham. It was hot, fresh and came on the most delicious roll! It hit the spot! When ordering coffee I asked if they had any flavors and the woman replied "we only have one, amaretto" which sounded like the right choice even if there were other options! I obliged and the amaretto flavor was delightful! I wish more places offered amaretto! I also got a lobster claw which was crunchy, flaky and oh so good! My fiance wanted to take me here since he knows I love a good deli and a good hoagie. This place is the real deal. From how clean the place is, to the great customer service, and incredible food selection, this is truly a local gem. I have been searching for guanciale in Orlando so I could make some Spaghetti Carbonara at home. I had given up on finding any after calling around in SW Orlando but then I found Stasios and they have it! I drove there and bought it. Stasios is Italian Deli heaven. Stasios has a great NYC Upper East Side vibe. If you like to constantly try new pasta shapes, this is the place to buy them! Stasios has so many pastas imported from artisan pasta makers in Italy. Their prices seem high but when I looked online, it turned out that their prices are the same at other Italian specialty stores, so in summary, they have very fair prices for imported goods. For dry goods, I bought a bucatini and a package of Italian rice with truffles. And from the deli area I bought some guanciale, mushroom salad and couscous salad, both delicious. There is plenty of free onsite parking in their parking lot and is very easy to get to from the 408 highway Bumby exit and entrance. read more
