first things first. what the deal with that window? bullet hole? is it a safe are? idk. review. first time i had pick up food here. it was breakfast. Waffles were nasty and over price. ONLY one sad waffle the large amount of labor to make waffles doesn't really comparer to the price. breakfast need to change. the chicken that comes on with the waffles was alright but nothing special. Please stop this and hire someone to build a menu professionally. i am not asking to have add and add and add to many items but this one single waffle with chicken strip is kinda nonsense. I tell people now to not order this place. :( one star down second time i came here. I have a Chorizon burger. first bite is good. second and every other bite. it overwhelming ( it was the Juice Burger) best to get a regular burger. second star down 3rd time. it was a regular burger which was the best. I am always in search of that instagram look gourmet burger. and i can say that ordering a normal burger is the best way to go. one star :) up 4th time i went actual in with my family. i was so happy to take them to a gourmet and cool and hip place to go. ALL over price. grill chicken sandwich, Fried Chicken sandwich they were good. so there is another star up but salmon burger was trash. tastes like plastic. i have more fun eating a frozen process salmon burger than this one. :( and the big regular breakfast was also nothing special. verdict: 2/5: C i would come here for the regular burger. that is it. place is over price for what you get. but i guess the hood is what keep this place going. Great stop along our road trip. They have plenty of good beer on draft and yummy selection of bar food. The service was incredibly friendly and love the open kitchen concept. Came with my boyfriend, but would recommend for small groups and solo eaters. read more

We stopped in today to check this new place out! Greeted at the door with a friendly smile and took our seats! Within less than 30 seconds we were approached by our waitress and asked if we would like to start off with a beverage! Great service!! I ordered the Top Cutter IPA out of Yakima, WA and it was excellent! A little short on the pour, though!! I ordered the Wedge salad and my wife ordered the bowl of chili, and we split an order of the hand cut fries! Wedge salad was extremely fresh and delicious! Tomatoes tasted as though they were grown in the garden, out back! The bowl of chili was HUGE!! Very delicious and packed a little heat, too!! Half way through our dishes, we switched.... between the two of us, we couldn't finish the chili! Best go with a cup, unless you're starving!! There was a slight delay in our order getting to the table, but the waitress came over without prompting and apologized. There was a table of 12 that had ordered just prior to us coming in! Totally understandable!! The noise level was pretty high, due to the table of 12 loud talkers, who couldn't take turns talking!! Overall ... an AWESOME place to stop in for a beer and bite to eat! Rather fresh food for the over-played category in Wa state. Our family favorite has been their thin smash burger. Their salads are tasty and offer a lighter alternative on busy evenings when we are too tired to cook. Service is good and we especially like Fabian. We have been averaging about $80-$100 a week since we moved here in May. Their share of my wallet will probably go down, after I stopped by to sit at the bar and try something from their breakfast menu. I asked if I could enjoy my Olympia Coffee (local roaster) latte at the bar. As per many thoughtless restaurants, their policy, unlike that of Hash on the west side, is to prohibit outside beverages. I probably would have ordered a cup of the Batdorf and Bronson that they serve after I finished my current cup. It's their choice. That choice cost them $20+ in revenue in an empty bar seat today, and it will impact my average monthly spend of $320 - 400, or $3,840 - $4,800 annualized, at their restaurant. I went home and poached some eggs and slid them onto perfect avocado toast. Prepared a nice pour-over of Morning Sun beans from Olympia and had a delicious breakfast. I like being treated the way I treat my customers. Would have given them 4 stars if I could have stayed with my cup of coffee. read more

My girlfriend and I got here around 12:30 on a Friday afternoon. We had to wait outside for about 20 minutes. Would be nice if they put some tables and chairs outside (al fresco) Understandably the service was lacking. The food: I ordered the Jucy Lucie with bacon and my girlfriend ordered the fried chicken sandwich. The burger was hard to eat, it kept falling apart. Use the large toothpick they give you and don't cut it in half like I did. Really good, hand formed burger with oozing cheese. The chicken sandwich was also hard to eat, but was very good. Order extra "goop sauce" as both were a bit dry. Above average shoestring fries, but the onion rings were way over battered. Great potential once they work out a few issues. read more

I've had my eye on this place since it opened. Walk in only, no reservations. I love the vibe of this joint. Our server was a super cool chick, kinda wanna be friends with her IRL. Pretzel was bomb, steak was bomb, burger be bomb. Fries were salty as hell, which I love. Had the option of getting a baby 10oz beer, love. Reasonably priced. Oy, this restaurant was such a disappointment. I went there for breakfast and the menu is so simple and boring, and the food tasted worse. I am telling you, Denny's is so much better. I would choose any breakfast spot downtown over this. I had a veggie omelette, which didn't really have veggies in it at all, just lots of gross cheddar cheese, olives, tomatoes and onions. I expected more from such a perfect location when other restaurants offer local ingredients and a much better menu. read more

My friend and I thought we'd try a new place for lunch this week. I've passed by many times and always think how great it would be to have a local neighborhood place to grab a drink! Parking was surprisingly easy, given the location. As we were walking in, there was a family of four who were leaving. They were going elsewhere because there was no immediate seating for four, but said they'd been in before and the food was wonderful (and they highly recommended the cheese curds). My experience wasn't terrible. It wasn't wonderful either. The details: Fun location - love the flooring and nice big windows (great for people watching and letting the sunshine in) Fried chicken salad was exactly the flavors I anticipated and tasted fantastic; however, smaller than I expected for the price point. My friend ordered a burger without cheese...it came with cheese. Refire. Mustard container wouldn't deliver mustard; condiment containers sit on the tables and all looked like they needed to be cleaned a little more thoroughly. With so many strong reviews, I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt and try a 2nd visit. Anyone can have an off day, right? read more

Food was ok. Service was mediocre. The seats are very uncomfortable and parking isn't the best. We asked for water with our beers but they never arrived. After our food was half gone we realized she definitely forgot our waters. We tried to flag her down as she went to other tables but she didn't see us. Lovely neighborhood eatery! We came here a few times, and the food has been great. First time was grilled cheese ( not my favorite as I want elevated quality cheese for the price--American cheese just cheapens the taste for me), but the tomato soup was delicious. Stopped by for lunch during a recent visit to the area with my teenage son who is a very selective eater. I wish I could recall the name of our server- he was WONDERFUL- attentive and very helpful regarding a food allergy- even checking the ice cream labeling for us . The BLT was very tasty and my son enjoyed the fried chicken. The onion rings were SO good-- the best breading!! We finished our meal with a generous serving of tasty blackberry pie for me, and a Mexican Coke float for my son which he talked about all day! So glad we made this our stop for lunch ! read more

Great burgers! I am, however, pretty disappointed in the gluten free options. They have GF buns but the only side options are salad - who doesn't want fries with their burger?? We specifically picked this place because of an older review (my fault I trusted a 5 month old review I suppose) its not too difficult to have a dedicated fryer for tots and fries - why they changed that baffles me. Could have easily been a 4 or 5 star review if they had gluten free fries available like they did previously. I do recommend the salmon burger- made in house! read more

Great little spot with a neighborhood feel. Good outdoor seating (mostly only for parties of two.) We came for happy hour on a Monday and the place was pretty busy - unfortunately, they were understaffed but the one chef and one server were amazing! We went to lunch here today and found the food we ordered to be absolutely amazing! My partner ordered a cheeseburger with fries & I ordered the chicken burger (fried) with the mayo on the side (no onions/tomatoes). They got my order spot on and the service was prompt. One important thing to note is that the cook, who is within view at all times, made sure to use gloves while handling ready-to-eat food... and also changed them frequently while prepping. This may sound odd to some that I point this out but cleanliness to me is paramount in a dining adventure. I only took away a star because the only disappointment I had with the whole experience was the fries weren't impressive and the ketchup/mustard bottles were a bit crusty.
