Driving from SD to LA, got a flat in Anaheim. Changed it to the full size spare and got to LA no problem. Later drove towards Bakersfield and the flat got a FLAT in Valencia! Called AAA not knowing what the hell we were going to do. Towing to my BF's bro's place would cost $10 per mile (about 20+ miles), & who knows what tire place, if any, would be open tomorrow. Sleeping in a hotel would cost $FML. Luckily AAA told us Benny's was nearby and 24hrs!! We called & they had our tire size in stock. New Michellin for $200 each or used ones for $50 each. Umm, we'll take the used. After 20 minutes we were on our way. No upselling or scamming. (They could've told us they "only" have new ones). Talked to Benny himself & I said, "You must get good business here". He replied that he doesn't make much money but he makes people happy by saving on the cost of a hotel room, extra tow fees, and other hassles they'd have to deal with the following day. Great staff, very professional, quoted me on a price for a brand new tire which is 120 and stuck to it once I got there. I was on my way to the Yosemite when one of my tires popped. I only had a donut tire which I couldn't drive all the way to my destination with. Every other tire shop around was closed. A triple A guy told us about this place, and we went thinking it was our last hope or else we would have to go back home. Benny came through! He had my tire size in stock and charged us $40 for the tire. Benny and his team are so fast, we went to go get food but the tire was done before we could order. On our way we went. Edit: So I went to Costco and they told me that whomever screwed on the bolts to the tire didn't put it on correctly which then broke the bolt so I had to buy a new one. OMG for this place! Popped a tire going through the grapevine at like 5am. Had a short term spare but couldn't go more than 45 on it and had two hours more on the road. Called Benny's at about 5 am asked if we could stop by a buy a set of tires. "No problem!" the man said! Arrived and he was fixing up a man trailers tires. He saw me and my husband arrive before two other rig drivers walked up and needed service. The gentleman was the only one working here and spoke very little English but was FAIR AS HELL! He let them know we where first , and proceeded to help us. Thank goodness they had two of our size in stock at their little selection of new tires. I think the brand is called professional? After an amazing Thanksgiving weekend spent between a beach house in Carlsbad & the high desert of Joshua Tree, we had ourselves a little side adventure consisting of blowing out a tire in the fast lane of I-5 during the ascent into the Grapevine. Probably one of the worst places of the entire 5 to break down due to a combination of blind curves in the highway, small shoulders & spotty cellphone service. On top of that, her cell was dead & mine was nearly there. We didn't have a jack to change it & the donut was pretty low on air, but thankfully (or so we thought), my girlfriend has AAA. Nearly four hours & three frustrating phone calls later, we were absolutely sick of waiting for help that never came, & opted to call the police -- which we were able to do RIGHT as my cellphone died, leaving us both stranded & without an open line of communication. The officer arrived in about 40 minutes & got AAA on the phone (based on the info we'd given to AAA, he said they definitely should've located us without much trouble). Soon thereafter, a towtruck driver arrived, filled the donut with air & pulled a tire switch for us, then gave us directions to Benny's 24 Hour Tire, which was back at the last exit we'd passed in Castaic. They were fast, friendly, nice, & most importantly, OPEN at 11:30 on a Sunday night. Thank God for Benny! They even let us steal a wall outlet to charge our dead cellphones. If you need road side assistance anywhere near castaic you can definitely count on someone from Bennys tires to come out and save the day. Not that long ago we were in my bfs semi truck and it literally stopped in the middle of the road because it ran out of diesel. The fuel tank wasnt fishing out the diesel so it caused us stop mid way. Luckily we were in the far right lane and we pulled into the shoulder. Not helpful at all!! My tire blew out on I-5S, so I decided to search YELP for a tire/towing business when I came across "Benny's". I read reviews saying how they come out to your location and change the tire for a reasonable price and were friendly but when I called I received no such thing. The man who answered the phone sounded like he was under the influence and stated that he didn't want to drive to my location which was 10 minutes away and I should call a tow company to take me to their shop. It's quite upsetting that the worker/owner was very rude on the phone especially in a time of need, and after reading some reviews raving about them. (I would give no stars if I could, please do better with future potential customers in the future) *UPDATE* Owner or serviceman contacted me and sold me a cheap $35 tire for my troubles. read more

These guys are great . I had a long screw in the rear tire of my Tacoma. Thought I might have to buy a new tire . I went in they took a look. They removed the screw, tested the tire for a leak, showed it was ok. They mounted the tire and checked the pressure in the other three . THEN they told me no charge. Unprofessional customer service charged me 18.00 to remove a nail in my tire and charged my male friend 10.00 didn't give me a reciept and my tire pressure was way to high. Didn't put back the cap on my tire. I probably will have to check my lug nuts some place else so I can feel safe to drive my car. read more

Benny (not sure if Benny exists or not, these guys were so fast and helpful you don't even bother with names) and the crew are life savers. My friends and I had a caravan of three car trailers coming back from the Temecula Rod Run to Northern California and two of our trailers ended up with blow outs on our trailers. Bottom line is this crew had both of our trailers jacked up, tires replaced, spare replaced, and back on the road in minutes. Unlike many businesses in the area of the freeway that prey on your emergency situation they don't gouge you with their prices, totally fair prices, fast and quality work. Apparently tires like to blow up while up the 5 Freeway and thank god Benny's is there to save the day. They have 24 hour roadside assistance and are super quick and helpful. Disclaimer: I did not have full service here. This review is based solely on experience with the people there. I called at around 12AM and Benny's Tire Service told me to come in to fix my flat. I was driving a borrowed pick up truck, and had hit a nail. They told me that they did not have a tire that size to replace it for me, but they went ahead and put my spare in for free. The guys there took the time to help me, for no charge, and I am grateful that there are still people willing to help others. I had a feeling one of my tires needed to be replaced and needed to hit the road on Thanksgiving Day, so I made the drive up to see the guys at Benny's Tire. They were lightning fast!
