If I could give less than a star for their service. We needed tires quick and seen reviews on yelp so we decided to try them. We bought 2 tires and both tires were completely flat. When driving to the gas station to put air them, one tire had come off the rim. We got our car towed to the nearest tire shop and found out the tires had holes on the sides of them and couldn't be patched. Already 100 in now we have 2 buy 2 more tires because the tires weren't checked properly. The guys that changed them out didn't check for holes at all. He just grabbed the 2 tires and put them on my car. They were negligent regarding our safety and just wanted the cash. We could've had a blow out on the freeway in the rain and seriously injured. If the employees check this site and get anything out of this review, I hope it is this.... CHECK THE TIRES FOR HOLES BEFORE PLACING THEM ON CARS!!!!! read more

I guess my review is one fly in the ointment whereas all the reviews are five star or a stellar, mine is not. Sunday, on Mother's Day, I shredded my right tire coming down the five south at the grapevine. Considering that's also the time we found out that my donut does not fit my car, I had to be towed to a tire shop and Benny's is the one I was towed to. The guys were good, efficient and helpful originally I was happy with what I was given and continued forward to my destination. This is where this review gets nasty. The next day I take my car to get my wheels balance and I find out that one of the tires that I got from Vinnys has a huge bubble in three quarters of the tire which is why it was riding so rough. So not only did I have to put out $90 for two tires at Benny's I also had to spend another $45 in McFarland to get a replacement tire from the one I got at Bennys. This is one of the times I actually was not paying 100% attention when they replaced my tires. To everyone in the future, please be sure to check the tires they are putting on your car. visually check the tires to make sure you don't run into this type of situation. So I made a phone call to Benny and that tire with the bubble is in my garage. The very next time I go south on the 99 or/5 I will be returning it to him with an expectation of my money back. I bought 4 new tires from TireBuyer.com. I called the day I bought them to make an appointment for installation. I was told to wait, they'd call me when they arrived and they'd make my appointment accordingly. I did ask how much was the installation of 4 brand new tires. The gentleman said $15 a tire, $60 total out the door. The next day came and it's 3pm and I had yet to receive a call confirming the delivery of my new tires. I called them only to find out they've been there all day. So I show up and the guy asks what he can do for me. I said I bought 4 brand new tires from TireBuyer.com. I'd like them installed please. He then asked me if I wanted all 4 installed. I said yes! All 4 would be great. He then said...$80 please. I said I just called yesterday for a quote, you said $60 "Out the Door!" He then begins to chew out his guy at the front counter in Spanish. Just short of reaming him, he then says okay to the $60 quote, but, he said..."next time it's $80." I looked it up on Tire Buyer.com's web site. It's only $60 for a 4 tire installation. I felt like I was getting ripped off. Rude people here to say the least. I felt sorry for the guy at the counter. I guess he wasn't informed they were going to stiff me for an extra $20. Take a pass on this establishment. They're just looking for the next sucker to steal an extra 20 spot from. Got a flat tire at 1am and I was 3 hours away from home. I called my insurance and all they could do was send someone to change my flat or get it towed. My car only had a donut tire and that wasn't going to get me home. I had 3 kids in my car and was pretty nervous. I decided I would get the donut put on and look for a hotel near by and deal with the rest in the morning. Well, when the tow truck driver arrived he told be that 7 miles away there was bennys tires and that they could help me. I went straight there and as soon as I pulled in a guy came out. I explained what happened, he looked at the tire and said that all it needed was a patch. 15 minutes later he said $15 . At 1AM and only $15?? We can't thank Benny's enough for turning a difficult situation into a great one. After 3000 miles from LA to Canada and back, our inside drivers side tire (dual tires) on our RV blew out on the freeway 1 hour about from home around midnight. AAA helped us change it, but 20 miles down the road around 1:30am, the other two back tires on the passenger side blew out. Benny's came out to our RV on the side of the freeway with 2 new tires and, along with AAA, mounted them. We followed him back to his shop where we got 6 all new, high quality tires at a great price including balancing, mounting, disposal few, etc. We got home around 5 in the morning, but would have been there a whole lot longer if they hadn't been so very helpful. We had a flat tire a little way past Castaic. We called a service that charged a very high fee to remove our flat and replace it with a small-sized spare we had in our trunk. The service person recommended Benny's shop to us and we went there. They fixed our flat in 10 minutes and charged a very reasonable fee. They were open on a Sunday too. These guys were great! They're honest and reliable, and will do a good job. This incident occurred 8 months back and our tire hasn't given us any more problems! read more

Extremely fast and efficient. We had a tire blow out just north of Magic Mountain at 9:00 pm. After we arrived by tow at Benny's they had us back on the road within 15 minutes. Took the blown out tire off and placed the used but in good shape tire on in that short amount of time. Labor and tire was 45 bucks. Last week our tire started rapidly going flat after filling it up. We turned to Yelp to help us find a local tire repair place, depending on the reviews of others as we are always worried about being taken advantage of or the repairmen trying to upsell (i.e., go in for one tire and they tell you that you need 4 top of the line tires). We found the great reviews on Benny's and couldn't believe a place just around the corner from us got such great reviews. I took our car there and immediatley found out why. They came out and greeted me immediately upon pulling in and went straight to work. Not much later, they came out and told me I had some metal in my tire. They patched it and $15 later I was on the road with a fixed tire full of air. The service was fantastic, the prices were unbelievably great, and they never once tried to tell me I needed something I didn't. If you need tire repair or new tires, no matter if you're in Castaic, Valencia or anywhere in SCV, you need to go to Benny's. In that one visit they have earned our business for life. It would b a long story but let's just say we were towing a 30 foot enclosed trailer with our race car when on of the trailer tires decided to toss itself apart on the 5 eight miles north of Castaic. After waiting over 2 hours in 90 degree weather for our insurance/tow company to decide that we WERE NOT covered for roadside assistance (another story). After waiting we decided to check on local tire service providers and up cam Benny's. They were out within 35 minutes and the gentleman who came out had the trailer jacked up, wheel assembly off the hub, tire changed out manually along the road and the wheel/new tire assembly remouned all within 20 minutes! Incredible service, VERY responsible pricing for the tire and roadside service. We were back on our way within 60 minutes of the call to their shop. We could have saved several hours of frustration and delays if we hadn't even bothered to contact our insurance company and called Benny's directly. On our return trip home we should have stopped at the shop and just had them replace the other three maiming older tires so we would have a matched set but we we're running late and couldn't take the time. Unfortunately I can not recall the name of the gentleman who came to our aid but we'd very much like to express our appreciation for his efforts and for the support of the tire store. Coming home from a visit to So Cal with our class C motorhome, we experienced a second tire blow out in three days. The second blowout meant we now had a flat with no spare to replace it. We were stranded on a turn out on I5, dead in the water so to speak. I looked up "tires" on yelp and it came up with Benny's. Saw the great reviews, and decided to call. I spoke with Benny, told him our situation and he quickly quoted me a few tire options (which were reasonable because I was tire shopping the day before), said he had them in stock, and they could be out in 30-45 mins to fix us up right there at the turn out. They arrived at about 30 mins, brought a couple tire options for me to choose. Two professional, respectful service guys with everything they needed for a complete roadside service. They went quickly to work, changing out the tires, reinstalling them all in 60 mins from my first call to completion! These guys are the real deal. Saved us from misery on the side of a super busy highway, completely stranded. In a world where given our situation, I would have been forced to pay top dollar, they charged a fair price for the tires and a fair price for the roadside service. The guys were exceptional, and completely professional. This is a first class business. I looked up with tires I bought from Benny's online after I got home, and the price he charged was only $25 bucks more than the best online price. That's on a $200 commercial tire. Very fair in my book. You can bet that any time I'm driving the grapevine and areas near, I'll call Benny's again if I encounter a problem. Great tire shop! Fast, high-quality, and inexpensive! Potholed a tire, sidewall intrusion made it unrepairable. One tire would have been severe mismatch with other 3, which also still had tread to spare., and would be wasteful to replace all already. Perfect solution: similar mileage used tire. $40 all inclusive and out the door in less than 20 minutes. We had a low tire while heading to LA and after putting air in the tire, a few miles down the freeway the gauge said low tire again. A quick google search brought us to Benny's. We didn't even have a chance to turn off the car when someone came to our assistance. They found the culprit (a screw) and had the tire off and repaired in 10 minutes!! Very disappointed in Benny! I live here in Castaic and have gone to him many times over the years. Recently, I had a rental car that had a screw in the tire so I threw it in the trunk, and headed over to Benny's. He came out and asked what the issue was, I told him and asked what the cost is for a repair (it had been a while since my last visit) and he hesitated long enough for me to question his motives before he said $20.00. I had a gut feeling that he was trying to rip me off so I said thanks and went over to American Tire Depot because they do FREE repairs. I was upset about Benny's reaction, so I called and he answered and I asked again how much for a tire repair and he said $15.00. My gut was right. He was trying to scam me. SHAME ON YOU! You lost a customer for life for five lousy dollars. Good job! read more

We ended up spending $750 to replace the tire, replace our spare in the middle of the desert and pay for the tire to be changed. Meeting with Benny when we got back was a waste of time.. he offered to replace the tire. What in the world would we need another tire for.. He is refusing to refund the defective tire cost. On February 14th my daughter was traveling from The Central Valley to Anaheim to meet up with her boyfriend. They were catching a flight that day to Seattle for a little sightseeing trip. On I 5 she hit some debris on the highway near Lebec. After stoping and checking the car for damage and tires for any sign of a leak she continued on her way . Just before Castaic she noticed a noise coming from the front passenger side of her car. Sure enough a flat tire. After she called me to let me know what happened I started looking for a tire shop nearby . I contacted Benny's tire and talked to Alan who told me they could help me out . I was given a 20-30 min eta. After getting off the phone with Alan I called my daughter and passed on info to her. While talking to her, Alan or one of the other tech showed up to help her . They were there in about 5-10 min. They put on her spare and set her up with a new tire at the shop. My daughter was so happy that she was back on the road in about 30-45 min.
