I have been going to this Stater Brothers for years as it is the closest to my house. It has a great selection and many nice employees except for this one girl in the Produce department named Alyssa. She consistently ignores me while she sits there and talks to other workers or customers. She has even refused to help me find an item because it is not in her department. Bakery Manager Courtney is the BEST!! Staters on River Road was my 5th market and 2nd Staters looking for a 1/4 sheet white on white. When she heard what I was sharing with a staff member, she quickly stepped up and said she could take care of it and all she needed was 20 minutes. She went to her cooler and got a plain white layer of cake and turned it into a perfect two layer 1/4 sheet masterpiece in less than 20 minutes. Voila...just what I was looking for. The place is inside a plaza. Parking is pretty decent since it's inside a plaza. I don't think anyone will have a problem finding a parking spot. The place is pretty clean and it seems like they do clean the floors a lot. We made a quick stop here to pick up some cookies and snacks for our bunkering in down during Covid 19 movie time at home. They have a variety of things and it's consider a bigger Stater Bro's than the one down our house. The cashier lady was pretty welcoming and nice to us while checking us out. I only knocked down one star because it was hard for us to find things we need down the asides. They are different for setting when it comes to other Stater Bro's. I've been shopping at Stater Brothers since I was a kid, though obviously as just a tag along at that time. Now as an adult, I do the shopping and have done so at Stater Brothers for as long as I could drive. Originally, I shopped at the old location that was down the street from this one, but as soon as the new store opened, we switched. It's a sort of sentimental thing for me to shop at Stater Bros, as I always shopped with my mother there who passed away in 2012. From the beginning I never had any problems with this store. The food has always been fresh and I've never had to return anything other than things I purchased on accident for example. The store is also very clean from my experience, which is of course always good to see in a grocery store. Employees have always been friendly to me and my family, and managers have always greeted me and been able to help with any issues or concerns. The current store manager, Ryan, has always greeted me and been friendly. I believe he is running a good store and personally, I don't foresee myself shopping anywhere else while I still live in California. Highly recommend the store. read more

I come in to this location off River road a couple times a week in the morning around 7 to 8 am and always see the same girl Madison working up at the front. Everytime I see her working I am greeted with a smile on her face, if I found everything I needed, and wishing me a great day. She always goes the extra mile to help me out and has the best customer service up front that I have seen in a long time from this location, she leads with a great example to the rest of the store that is lacking customer service!! I have seen her do this with other customers, as well as helping keep the store clean. just wanted to give her acknowledgment there's not that many great workers out there I hope you guys promote her or recognize her in some sort of way! I like this new location, the store is clean and it doesn't get too crowded but today I had a bad experience, I bought some stuff that were marked down, CAMILA S. is the name of the cashier that made me waste my time going back to the store because she wasn't paying attention when she was scanning my groceries! In the produce area... the blonde girl with a nose piercing was gossiping with a male employee about somebody getting fired. He kept coming back to gossip with her within the few minutes I was there. I LOVE THIS STORE!!!!! This is my favorite place to go grocery shopping, it actually makes grocery shopping fun & not feel like a chore. I live closer to two other Stater Bros but I gladly make the drive to this location. The layout of this store is super convenient and aisles are extra roomy so you don't feel on top of other shoppers. This store is super clean and has really friendly employees. Just went to the grocery store and had a cashier by the name Veronica V. Very rude cashier no hello or greeting when I got up to scan and pay . She was rushing me like she had to return back to her chattering instead of working. she should not be dealing with customers if she's going to be rude. I asked for no bag and put my groceries back in the basket and she said "you can't take that outside" I said I won't I'm just putting my stuff in there and taking them out when I return the basket at the front . Always enjoy stopping in to shop at this location when I'm in the area. It is a newer location, and just so classy in the midst of sticking to HorseTown USA motif throughout. Several employees I encountered asked if I needed anything. Well stocked and good variety of products. I don't shop enough to speak as to pricing- seemed normal for what I purchased. And also not very crowded for Friday afternoon. Cashier was friendly and professional. And an older employee named RICK made my children's day when he greeted them with personalized high fives. A shopping experience for me includes aesthetics of the store, organization, selection, quality, and customer service. Only star was lost because I asked an employee where restrooms were and he said "at the front of the store." That would've been ok if it was for me, but he saw me in a panic with a toddler and I would've appreciated a more specific location. Front of the store can be a lot of places. Great looking store!! Wow, this new Stater Brothers is incredible and, hands down, my new favorite location. The flooring is cushioned vinyl, everything is ultra clean and modern, and the staff all seem to enjoy their work. The store is organized differently than other nearby Staters, but that is easy to get used to after shopping here several times. There is a bakery/deli inside the store and a small area with tables to eat here. I have always been loyal to Staters because their meat is incredible and their prices are fair. The only negative is all Staters usually have poor quality fruits and vegetables for whatever reason but this can be alleviated by carefully selecting them. There is another Stater Brothers closer to me but it is a pleasure to drive farther to shop at the River Road location. The best service is when all the clerks are smiling, greet you and make you feel that they are happy to deal with you. read more

I have been going to this store since it opened. EVERY-TIME I walk through the store Some employee asks me if I need help with anything or say hello to me. When I am ready to check out there is never EVER EVER more than three people in a line and they opened a new register. I am constantly bragging about that store and everyone I mention it to always says, "oh yes I love that store too. " We used to shop at Albertsons. What a nightmare. We live in Eastvale and were kind of prisoners to Albertsons because it was the only close grocery store. Grumpy cashiers an extremely long line every time I walked in that store for six years. This is not my normal store to visit but is on my way home at times and being newer I do stop now and again for a few items and use the express lane. Most visits previously the staff was courteous and I was in/out pretty quick; today was not that. "Express Lane" means quick not the woman checker leaving to go find some smokes the idiot in front of me must need; took her like 2 minutes before coming back leaving me and the guy behind me looking around. DO NOT let the express lanes open to where a checker has to leave; make those people go to a regular line. How basic is that? Then when my time came for my 2 bags of salad, after thanking her, I got a "have a nice one"; no 'thank you' to me. How disrespectful is that. I'm the customer in case you forgot. Didn't seem like you were having a bad day but maybe so. Next time that happens here, I will seek out the manager and voice my concern over the disrespect from the staff. read more

You can tell he either hates his job or is having a very bad day which is fine I get it we all have bad days but doesn't mean you need to roll your eyes at every customer. I am only upset because my card declined. The first time I asked if it because I pulled it out too fast and he said very loudly insufficient funds and ya maybe that's why . Did it again and declined he said it loudly again. It worked the third time but He needs to think that most people are very private with and about their money.
