I love everything about this store. The new ambiance is great! I have one problem that seems like an easy fix to me. After experiencing this the last 3 visits I decided to give a review. I used to get the rotisserie chickens in the hot section, UNTIL one day the Pollo Asado caught my eye. I decided to try it and man is that some really great chicken!!! Well, today on my 4th separate random visit where I was craving that chicken. It's all gone with 5 to 6 rotisserie chickens still sitting there. And when I go to ask if they'll be making anymore it has been "no" to "over an hour" wait. To me it seems obvious this is just as, if not more popular than the rotisserie. I don't even get the rotisserie anymore and that was my faithful go to. And a couple of the last 4 times I wasn't the only one at that deli counter asking for more Pollo Asado. Shout out to the ChopShop guy there now! The guy chopping the fruit in produce at 2 pm. Shout out the front end! The girls were is cheerful spirits and mingling and getting along and looking like they were having a good time enjoying what they do. The store looked great! Front and centered I noticed when I grabbed a box of Honey Smacks cereal. Seemed like the team was keeping up, because when I grabbed it I immediately thought to myself "man, no cereals have been sold today? These cereal boxes are all front and centered with the exception of like 5 spots I noticed immediately after." My next thought was to assume the grocery team is on it! Aisles looked nice. They always do. I really felt compelled to write a recognize the work because it was a good experience today at Stater Bros, Colton and Orange . And it started with how joyful the fruit guy was behind the counter chopping and packaging fresh cut fruits and keeping up with all the customers who were stopping by for fresh fruit. What we received was the most tender, the most delectable piece of meat our family has ever enjoyed. Many in the area might think this is just another Staters location situated right off the 10 fwy and leave it at that. Those people are missing out. Yes, this is an older store and not the largest BUT it was completely remodeled this year and now is a full service supermarket. From fresh sushi (made as you wait...) to a full service deli and bakery, this store has everything you could want. What really makes this store stand out from the other locations in the area is the staff and its high level of customer service. In my case I had gone there to purchase steaks which looked great but after getting home I found them to be of poor quality. The next day I went back just to get some information and advise the staff of the poor quality coming from their vendor. I spoke with the GM (Tassos) who listened intently and asked many questions about the product. My intent was to advise of the poor quality to prevent this happening to other customers. The GM not only took note of the situation, hr escorted me to the meat department, put on an apron and proceeded to replace the bad steaks from the previous day - NO CHARGE! Despite my objections, he insisted I take them and contact him if there were any other issues with the meat.as he wanted to make things right. I did not go there for that purpose, yet the GM stated this had to be done to make things right. This was completely unexpected and yet this ties into the entire work ethic at this Staters store. The entire team is completely customer focused and glad to help. From Keisha, Geoff, Jose, DJ and Cole right up to Tassos Panos (GM) - this store offers exceptionally friendly, competent quality service in all aspects. FYI - I do not reside close to this location but DO come here because the team is great, the quality is there and you have the assurance this store stands behind their product. Great Job folks! My intentions were to leave a beautiful review yesterday morning! This store continues to be phenomenal in great customer service. All the employees are happy to greet and help customers. The physical look of the store is OCD in a fancy good way! LOL! All labels are facing the customers without missing any empty spots of the item! I'm not sure how they do this but it's really impressive! My favorite part of this gorgeous store is Deli. I'v been buying the family size sub sandwich made by Jessica and my goodness she never fails her excellence in communication in my order and the brilliance and love she puts into the customers order! Please reward her for her kind achievement in customer satisfactory, she overly deserves it!!! The meat department too is impressive. I put a few packs of meat to be seasoned and with a sweet beautiful attitude the staffed seasoned our family's packs of meat! Once we cook our meat, the flavors are just priceless and unbelievable. Please try them out you won't regret the seasoned meat that they can do! I wish them many awards in the near feature! All cashiers and staff are genuinely a pure loving family oriented team and they deserve so much credit for the smooth delightful courtesy in cleanliness, organization and customer service! The wings we purchased at the meat department supposedly were lemon pepper but really just salt infested... we grilled tonight and we're so excited for wing night and they were so salty we could eat them. I'm disgusted. Save your time and energy and go to the staters on lagonia. The meat department has way more selection and the butchers are awesome!!! Never again with this location... it's usually a bum trying to rush me for some cash in the parking lot or sell some food stamps or somebody passed out on the side of the lawn or they are trying to give away free government phones on the sidewalk.... Watch out for the meat at this location its usually bad been here several times and there fillet mignon was bad thankfully the manager there hook me up with three pieces of steak New York steak pieces, which wasn't even near as good as what I was trying to buy but it's the thought that counts. This Stater Brothers Grocery Store is the nicest in Redlands. It is the cleanest, brightest, and conveniently located store. The groceries are neatly and well stocked. The aisles are wide and the floors and racks are clean. The refrigerated cabinets are clean and well lit and the racks inside are clean as are the groceries inside. I really appreciate this store and it continues to improve. I like that it has two entrance & exit doors and sufficient parking. read more

I usually shop at the Staters on Lugonia since it's really big and nice and close to home but this morning I was helping a friend set up her kids birthday party and was going to make a fresh fruit tray for the party. This store was closer to her house so I decided to give this store a shot. From the outside I was a little nervous with the homeless walking around but felt better once I got inside. I went to produce department and was shocked at how everything looked so fresh and full. I know this is a small store compared to the one I shop at so my expectations were low but I guess you never judge a book by it's cover. The young lady working there Kelsey was moving around so fast to keep everything perfect but did stop to say good morning and asked if I needed help. She was a sweetheart. A big thank you to Wesley for helping me unload my cart today. I'm recovering from surgery and I'm not supposed to lift anything over 8-10 lbs. He had no way to know this when he offered to help, it just worked out that the offer for help was there when I needed it! This Stater Bros is within walking distance of my place, so I just go there whenever I need something instead of once a week. Today I picked up some Powerade for a friend who might've needed it to hydrate. Hours later when I'm picking up some protein bars after a workout that's left me feeling like crap, I just happen to get the same cashier. She says "Hey, you're back!" I'm pretty out of it, so I don't recognize her right away. As I'm leaving, she says "See you in 10 minutes!" I was fine with the greeting, but that parting remark was too much. I'm generally fine with this location, but I will say that they always seem to have mediocre produce. I started going to Trader Joe's for that reason. read more

I just put the entire check stand staff through hell, I accidentally dropped my Drivers license onto the conveyor belt and it rolled under, during a really busy time. Everyone was Gail and Tammy were super awesome and so was Leset. They were able to pull apart the entire check stand and get my license back while getting through the rush. I came at 10 am to get a build your own sandwich. The employee who was at the station watched me stand there while she slowly put away rotisserie chicken. I then asked who I'm supposed to talk to about ordering a sandwich she said her and that she would be with me in a minute. After 10 more minutes of watching her walk around at the slowest pace she came behind the counter and asked what I wanted. I said wheat bread and she cut me off to say she needed to go get the bread and that they didn't have anything back there. At this point I'm thinking I should have just went to subway. read more

One of the most dirtiest Stater brothers I've ever been to, to start off the carts are disgusting and I was going to pass that and not be too bothered by it; I purchased my food from the store and went back home to make my steak it smelled absolutely horrific (don't get me wrong: I purchased it on October 17 and the use by date is October 18th I knew that it was going to go back within a day or two) however this should not have been sold it was already bad I didn't even want to go back to show them. I had just got off a long day of work, I stopped by Stater Bros to get dinner & waters for my family as I walked in a young man says "hey ma'am how u doing, do u need help with something" and I kind of ignored him and just kept walking. Finally I was trying to reach the last 35 pack of water when I see the same young man walking down the aisle & he comes straight to me & says, "I got that ma'am how many do u need"... I then apologized for not responding to him earlier, & with the nices smile he says "no problem ma'am & if you need some help getting those to your car u let me know". i smiled & went on my way, as I was checking out without realizing I bumped into the same young man & without me saying a word he actually walked out with me and helped put the three 35 packs of water in my trunk and took my cart back to the store for me, its people like this that can really make a persons bad day turn into a great one thank you, Brian Soto. This morning I stopped by to purchase a sandwich for lunch. Why is it that the staff do not wash their hands unless they're asked ?? This should be standard when handling food. A customer should never have to ask you to wash your hands after you've touched other items. Customers are always watching. Do the right thing and stop being lazy. read more
