I'm a really fussy guy. I hired Statewide Stone Care to repair a badly damaged limestone countertop that bordered my kitchen sink and the backsplash. A large piece had broken off and there were multiple chipped pieces. An earlier worker had done a horrible attempt leaving a nasty eyesore with black epoxy (on a light colored limestone) - in short, a real mess that I had sort of given up on hoping would ever look good again. Victor and his work mate spent close to three hours on resetting the main piece and the chipped pieces with surgical precision, rebuiling the curvature of the counter edge folding down into the sink, paying very particular attention to the color matching of the epoxy they used. They rebuilt the area so well I have to lean into it to find any evidence it was ever damaged. And a special mention for Katia, their assistant / co-ordinator. She's as good as it gets. I can't speak highly enough about Statewide Stone Care. We needed marble refinishing as well as grout cleaning and caulking in our kitchen and bathroom. Our main contact, Welbert, was incredibly professional and responsive. He did a free in-person consultation of our home and he followed up with a detailed estimate the same day. I was so impressed by their responsiveness and pricing, which came in competitive compared with other providers. Statewide Stone Care did a fantastic job with our home and they worked hard to repair some areas that I wasn't sure could be fixed. Victor (the owner) came by for a final inspection and walk through when they wrapped up to make sure everything went as planned. When we caught something a few days later that needed fixing, they were accommodating and came by to correct at no cost. I always have trepidations when working with outside contractors, but somehow with Statewide / Victor I got positive vibes, and those vibes served me well. We had all the marble counter tops in our apartment (sizeable) honed, polished and sealed, plus some re-grouting of floor tiles, re-caulking around bathtubs, where necessary, filling in a couple of gouges, plus polish and re-grout of an all-marble-tile shower stall that looked like it was made in the stone age (sorry), plus various other miscellaneous jobs that elude me. Victor is amazing. And his crew is conscientious. He went above and beyond the call of duty, placing the utmost importance on creating a satisfied customer, and he has one here. Had Statewide hone on the marble kitchen counters and the bathrooms. The bathrooms needed it in the shower and the countertops. Victor was very professional and on time. He was upfront of what he could do and what might not be treatable. His staff where on time and they cleaned up after themselves.
