First, the work looked great when they finished. My 20 + year old marble shower looked better than when it was new. These guys know marble. Some minor issues in grouting developed since then. They quickly returned to repair. Will knows his stuff and is a just a pleasure to have in your house. UGH-the noise and dust scared me off) and the fact that he went to our local HS (Bellport) and is a Varsity Football alumni- sealed the deal, as we love to support our community. My grout lines were a mess- dark, dirty, mold stained. We put the tile floor in 20 years ago because raising 3 sons-and all their friends-in a house near the beach (humid, sand, dirt) made carpeting a no-go. the tile took a beating and needed a serious cleaning. We are painting and upgrading the entire kitchen and living room, too. Jason and Hector arrived ON TIME (after confirming by text 2 days and the night before) and got right to work. Jason explained the time table and process, including the "smelly" part (really not so bad) so I could plan my day. They moved my furniture to one side of the room while working on the other side (I removed alot of the smaller pieces). They played their music on low- I have no problem with the need for background "music to work by". They took a lunch break and finished on time. They worked steadily and the only noise was their equipment. They took extra care with 2 inlaid mosaics. MY TILE FLOOR LOOKS AMAZING- like the first day we put it in! I almost cried (I get emotional over the beauty of a job well done). As promised, the grout was cleaned, mold killed, then colored with a choice (I went light- the kids are grown and gone) and sealed. Then buffed the entire surface to a warm shine. There are gaps in our grout which we didn't have before he regrouted, and they were never filled in. He damaged our toilet seat, when he was not even doing work to our toilet. He left clumps of grout in places that were not cleaned, he clogged our sink & tub drains with grout, and left our apartment a complete mess. Not only is his work poor, but so is his work ethic. He had estimated the work in our bathroom would take 1 day. Instead, he spent 4 days working, only for us to wind up with what was still a completely terrible, unprofessional job. He was often hours late with no communication. When we expressed our dissatisfaction with the work done, he came up with multiple excuses -- he wasn't feeling well, he was supposed to have a different technician helping him, our walls were tough, etc. None of those are excuses for why the grout was touched up with a different color... and if he wasn't feeling well or didn't have proper help than he should have rescheduled. I think the pictures speak for themselves. This is just a small sample of what his finished product looked like after 4 days of work. We asked for a partial refund and he ghosted us. Do not work with him. He talks like he knows what he's doing and then this is the work he leaves you with.

He also left a stain on our wood floor in our entryway from god knows what. I should have just gone with a contractor and paid the extra $$ to replace the tile. I'm mad at myself for not going with my gut and getting rid of him after the first consultation, but I gave him a chance. Awful work. AVOID.
