This brewery is on Fire! No literally I think it use to be an old fire station.. it's a little off the beaten path but I love that concept in order to spice up regular neighborhoods with a great hangout. The bartenders are super helpful and friendly! I had a flight of tasters and highly recommend trying the cherry limeade sherbet ,trust me, I'm not normally into sweet but this one is mellow with the right about of sour twist. I also recommend the tangerine cream. It's a crowd pleaser and we ended up taking home a growler of the beer. They have a TV for all the sports fan and a Food truck outside if your stomach needs more than booze! If you really really love it grab some merchandise, it's trendy and gets the word out. read more

It's a standard Denver brewery. It neither repels nor compels. 16 beers on tap; Lots of IPAs, not much fruit forward or sour selections, and zero cider (I was told cider's not allowed). Lots of concrete, & zero plants or trees on patio. Uncomfortable metal chairs inside with nice hardwood tables, & metal grate enameled Picnic tables on patio. No views of anything. It's my fault I'm in Denver...I know people like it. I came to see the band Mon Cher play an acoustic set, but the majority patrons were there to look at their phone. Mon Cher was as sweet as could be, & so were all the cute doggies! The food truck was fine. The bahn min steak sandwich ;the steak pieces were small & so over cooked/bland but the sauce was tangy & the veggies were fresh. read more

Other people have commented on their enforcement of mask wearing during the COVID crisis. I witnessed it in action and I'm grateful for Denver businesses like this that are leading in their response. In addition there are prominently posted warnings about "bigots walking" that make my heart sing. Oh, and the beer! Have one of everything and then pick your favorite and have a pint of that. Weird that I have never reviewed this place, as it was the first brewery that opened up less than 2 miles from my house a little over five years ago. It's been a crazy few years for Park Hill, and also for Station 26. What was once a quiet brewery and taproom, with the influx of suburban immigrants, has now become a busy and crowded watering hole. Generally the atmosphere and patrons are pleasant, with a nice peppering of out-of-towners staying at the nearby hotels that once serviced Stapleton Airport. As for the beer, the menu is relatively varied, but quite ale heavy. In the future, I'd love to see a session lager with a bit more interesting character than the Mexican Lager they have on tap right now. They "hop" around and experiment with different styles, so hopefully maybe a German pils or a Helles that actually tastes like an imported Helles would be awesome. read more

Yep I am a fan. Loved everything about this place. The beer was fantastic, the ambiance was great and the staff was super friendly. I had the Mars beer and it was so refreshing. If you like beers that are not too sweet and not too hoppy you will love this. I also had a sample of the watermelon beer and it was good; it was more on the sweet side. I also liked the fact that you can buy a can of your favorite beer directly from this brewery. My overall experience was positive and I definitely will be back the next time I visit Denver. read more

Up and coming area filled with lots of new businesses and fits right in there. Last time I passed by here, this fire house was manned and operational. Wonder where they all went to? My 1st visit and more visit to come was filled with teary eyes of staring at my old work place across the back of this place called "Whitaker Power Storage" filled with lots of nothing but great memories. I was gonna get some 5 oz tasters but friendly bar tender offered splash of this and that for free of charge. Nice. Kudos. Two thumbs up. After trying few... Red IPA that woke up my taste buds.. ended up with easy drinking Colorado Pale. Price was cheaper than other joints serving 20 oz for $6. If I was counting oz...and more oz...that's 4 oz more than other ones..more pint than other pints.... big pus pints We all have certain beers we like so I'm gonna skip that 100%... beer is served cold.. in a big glass and on sunny warm record breaking day like today. .. roll up your shirt sleeve, put on some shades and enjoy the moment sipping finest brew this section of the hood can offer. It's getting too hot sitting outside so..I'm gonna move inside and get a cup of self serve water and some pretzels.. I got served quickly, nobody puked on the floor, lots of clean table of choices, I got the perfect beer to pair with my taste bud, great music.... I'm gonna give big 5 stars. Really great service! We were seated promptly and given a choice of either outside (it was chilly), or inside at a shared table. The shared tables have high barriers on them allowing you to be at the same table but separated from other patrons. We tried the Oktoberfest, Juicy Banger (one of my favorites!), and the Pils. All were tasty and served in the appropriate glassware which is much appreciated! Also a fan of the "no kids-no dogs" rule cause sometimes, you want a relaxing experience without additional noises. read more

Station 26 is a bop and a Park Hill gem. It's a very laidback brewery. Unless it's cold, their doors are wide open and everything is pretty much outside. They have a lot of taps and so many great choices, even for someone like me who is pretty picky. There is often a food truck parked on the premises for snacking or lunch/dinner. The bartenders are super friendly. Their Salt & Lime beer is SO good I went back for a crowler just a few days after I tried it. read more

My wife and I stopped by for some brews on our last day in Denver. Let me tell you, they have amazing beers here. I had a Kolsch style pilsner and my wife had the Homerberry White Stout. We had a wonderful and relaxing afternoon here at Station 26! This was the first sit down establishment we've visited since March I'm glad I chose such a friendly, safe and inviting space to re-emerge into the world. The outdoor space is huge, and tables are spaced far apart with shade coverings to protect you from the sun, all servers wore masks, and there was ample free hand sanitizer available for use. I love the variety of beers and flavors available here! The hits for me were the seltzer - so bubbly and refreshing on a warm afternoon - and the tangerine cream - not too heavy and not too sweet but absolutely just right. We also loved the pizza truck that was parked nearby for dinner while we enjoyed our beverages. What a lovey neighborhood spot and I feel so lucky to live close by! read more

As the months and visits continue this brewery continues to tick upward on my list. Their standard beers are good and their seasonals sometimes surprise you but in a good way. Sometimes I wonder what something is like a Watermelon Sorbet and then I look down the bar and seemingly every person is drinking it. If you haven't tried it, is shockingly really good. Located down the street from the DoubleTree Hotel, Station 26 was the first Colorado brewery that my boyfriend and I visited on our vacation. Our friends living 30 minutes away drove to greet and welcome us to this beautiful state. Station 26 is clearly fashioned out of (and probably gets its name from) an unused fire station. There's seating inside the brewery as well as many tables strewn across the driveway. The latter makes the place dog-friendly! We brought our husky puppy and tied him to a rail next to our table. How convenient. I wasn't the one to order the beers, but from what I could tell, there was a good selection. I enjoyed the IPA that my boyfriend picked out for me. Oh and while there's no food, there was a food truck (Meatball.) with tasty selections! You'll have to see my other review for remarks on that. Overall I love the lively atmosphere at Station 26. There's plenty of outdoor lighting, which makes for a fun party when it's not too cold. Otherwise, I'd imagine you should arrive early to snatch a seat inside before it gets too crowded. A few years ago as I was having dinner at Work n Class on a layover I was introduced to Station 26 juicy IPA s I have been wanting to visit them every since the glass was empty. As soon as me and my crew arrived I made sure to give them a local patch from our FD in my city. This was well received and it started me on great outing that afternoon. All of us shared a flight with a beer on the house which I guess was from the patch I gave to put on their wall. We sat outside and enjoyed our juicy beers and ordered a margarita pizza from Basic Kneads a local food truck. Having had almost all of the beers I enjoyed walking around what used to be an old fire station hence the name Station 26 then purchased a metal beer sign to add to my growing collection, great spot to hang out especially when the weather is nice outside. read more

I'm a yuppie so naturally I love Station 26....they have a spacious parking lot, creative brews, hospitable staff and it's a restored fire station....whats not to dig? I follow them on Facebook and they are constantly coming out with funky concoctions like their Blackberry Milkshake IPA, Chocolate Shake IPA and Key Lime Shebet beer. These are limited release so you can expect a line out the door but it moves pretty quick so don't let that deter you! Besides those, their Tangerine Cream Ale is one of my favorite beers ever! They also have a Station 26 food truck that offers some tasty treats like mac and cheese, pickles and egg rolls so you can nosh on goodies and wash it down with a cold one! read more

A must if you're staying in East Denver. The DoubleTree in Stapleton carried their Tangerine Cream Ale and after finding out the brewery was a half mile away, I needed to check it out. I was surprised this was nestled in a former fire station, in a residential area. It's actually perfect because there's an indoor/outdoor space, live music, and food trucks throughout the week. I didn't try a beer I didn't like. Everything was fresh and tasted the way it was described. I will say that out of all the Denver breweries I've frequented, this is #1 by a long shot. Full disclosure: I'm not a beer drinker. This is not a beer review. I drank water. It tasted as expected. ---------- Our team wanted to meet over drinks to plan for the upcoming season. Coach picked this place in part because we knew we could have a large group (more than a dozen of us) and that - if there was no space inside - they had a large, tented and heated outdoor space. The night of the meet up (a Tuesday in January) was a frigid 20-degree eve, the place was full, and guess what? They were out of propane. There was not one single space heater on the patio. :( We didn't want our large-ish group to disturb the other guests so we were forced to give the patio a try. We found one small area in the corner where warm air was being piped in and we attempted to huddle around it. For those within 8-10 feet of the heat it was tolerable, but about 30 mins later the warm air died and the pipe started blowing freezing (outdoor?) air, so they shut it off. We left soon after, before hypothermia set in. (Yes, there's a bit of drama in that sentence for effect. You weren't there.) Pros: - Good vibe that is definitely more suited for summertime - Good beer, so I heard - The food we had from the 26 Food Truck was good, but we were forced to eat fast. Fried tots are not great cold and they were practically frozen within minutes. (Again with the drama. It was damn cold, people.) - Our meeting had to be cut short Cons: - Our meeting had to be cut short - Unheated tent space - They could use a few more healthy options on the menu We will definitely give this place a try again when the weather is a bit more cooperative. I can see how others love this place and am going to assume the lack of a heat on the patio was a fluke. read more

What's not to love? It's a brewery and bar that's in a converted fire house! Great outdoor seating, really awesome beer menu, and knowledgeable staff! They don't serve food but fear not! A food truck is stationed here and seems to change every day. Prickly Pear Ale is really good (and I'm not a big ale guy). I was so lucky to visit home and to be outside on a gorgeous and sunny day in late October (gawd I miss you, Colorado) and loved the patio. There were babies and dogs and the shared tables reminded me of how open and fun and cool Colorado-dwellers are (we did get into a tough conversation about favorite sports teams, but even that was full of laughter and not real harsh rivalry) which just made the whole atmosphere really relaxed and fun. The beer was hit-or-miss for me. I sampled a few (with the sample sizes, don't worry!) and either loved or hated them. For example, I tried the coffee stout and it tastes more of chocolate than coffee to me, but mostly just in that bitter aftertaste way of truly high-percentage cocoa chocolate. I would definitely come back and find my favorites, but would just recommend that you sample a few to find your favorites instead of assuming they are all at equal levels of awesome. read more

What a solid place. They have outside patio, food trucks, knowledgeable bartenders and amazing beers. Being from out of town I stopped by to have a couple of beers and ended up staying longer then I wanted to due to the amazing atmosphere. Watched Thursday night football talked to others that were sitting around watching the same game. I ended up getting merchandise and the bartenders hooked me up and threw some other small things in the bag as well. One of the best breweries you will find in Colorado! ...and that's saying a lot with how many of them there are. The service is great - they hire quality people which is the foundation that a brewery stands on IMO. The atmosphere is unique and fun - preserving the 'old fire station feel' while creating an indoor and outdoor space that caters to groups and vibes like a brewery should. The beers are top notch - having been here a few times, the latest visit provided the least variety as far as their tapped beers go, but they always keep a couple popular standards around and pour a couple creative new experimental beers. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite breweries in Denver. Station 26 encompasses everything I look for in a great brewery experience. 1. The space - old firehouse converted into brewery. An open garage door gives way to the bar. There is some space inside but plenty of space at the picnic tables out front and around the side. 2. The beer - some of the best I've had in the mile high city. You can't go wrong with their Colorado Cream, Tangerine Cream, Juicy Banger, and Hop Sequence series. I am starting to see these guys all over the city and for good reason. The beer is delicious. 3. A food truck can be found on the regular. Last time I was there, many people were happily enjoying pizza from Basic Kneads. I have not yet tried them but judging from the look and smell of their pizza, they are on my list to try. There is plenty of parking in the dirt parking lot on the side of the brewery, just watch out for some of those craters in the parking lot. Also the staff here is super chill and cool. In fact our last bartender was so chill, that he was slurring his words a bit. Must've been from those free samples. read more

Stopped in here for some dranks for my buddy's birthday. The place is a cool layout and has a cool vibe. The outdoor patio looks amaze! It was a bit chilly out so we were mostly inside but I'm remembering this place for nice days out #BringYourDogs. The menu is extensive. Lots o beer! I sampled all of my friends beers because I was driving but loved them all, even the bitter ones. They have a large water jug available for serve yourself which is a bit slow but I think that's because the water was a bit low. Other than that the place was great. Fast service, friendly tenders who were very knowledgeable and patient. The ladies restroom was clean and no line. We were there on a Friday and it was busy but not super busy we couldn't stand or sit anywhere and still had great service. Great spot for brews with your crews! read more

Went there on a Sunday afternoon with some friends. It was all of our first times there. We had heard it was in a old fire station so that was pretty cool. When we got there we notice that they were dog friendly on their patios, which is awesome. They have a really big patio area and then a grass area with tables. Before going we only had 1 of their beers before so we really didn't know what they had. My girlfriend really liked their cream ales. They do a really good job at those. I had their IPAs which were decent. My girlfriend went to order and apparently the bartender did not see her cause was short and the bartender helped the person behind her first. With it being a old fire house you would think there would be more fire station memorabilia. When we went all they had was light colored beers. Nothing dark. Which is nice for a hot day.
