A late review - Sunday brunch on 8/8/21 for 9 people at 1145am. Thanks for accommodating us - it was a last minute reservation! Overall food was good, definitely not the best brunch food! We loved that pancakes & waffles are offered; the kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes! Service was lacking - one order was served almost 30 minutes after everyone had been served & eating. Also, the waitress was ghost after all food served & eaten-had to track done to get check. As it happened, the kind and gracious manager, Younes, invited me and a plus one back for a complimentary meal to make up for my previous experience. Let me say this - my only problem with the first visit was the server. The ambiance, the energy, the location, the accessibility to Metro, and the food - all were above par then. Today, from the hostess, to meeting Younes, to our fine server, Maroon (yes, like the color), the husband and I had the best experience! I am a fan, and we shall return. I had the crab and brie omelette, and the husband had the western omelette. DELISH!!!! Please, get their toasted wheat bread - believe me when I tell you - you will get your ENTIRE life with that toast! Younes brought us champagne in flutes with 2 small carafes of orange and cranberry juices. Perfect. I love OJ, the husband loves cranberry - that Younes! Our hearts were melted. Maroon refilled our coffees with regularity, and checked on us with grace and respectfulness, and not too often. Yes, we got the star treatment, but there were two large parties happening while we were there - a group of friends at one station, and a bridal shower of lady friends and balloons. EVERYONE was having a great time. The two couples sitting together at a table across from us (also served by Maroon), were yucking it up pretty well. And what I'm saying with this is, the place was full of joy and no one seemed to be having a tough time with their meal or the service, etc. Interestingly enough, I did see the server that had rendered the bad service on my first go round. His demeanor was happier (he had one of the large groups), and he was gleefully pouring rounds and rounds of drinks. Good for them! When you visit, ask for Maroon. He took very, very good care of us. I look forward to returning with friends, and enjoying the atmosphere and the food, with confidence that the "star treatment" is the standard at Station 4. Arrived during Happy hour so started at the bar area. Small selection of HH cocktails. Drink was decent. Atmosphere a bit dark and gloomy. Took a really long time to be served even though fairly empty. Moved to reserved table for dinner. Waiter was not friendly and had no recommendations. Menu says to ask about specials. When we did, he said "just what's on the menu". Food is very pricey and mostly meh. I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled salmon. I was asked how I wanted the salmon cooked. I asked for medium rare. I was served barely seared salmon that was completely raw through 90% of it. I sent it back and it took a really long time to come back. When it finally did, salmon was the other extreme - overcooked. Salad was lame too. Croutons were either store bought or stale. Parmesan was grated - no nice shaved pieces. Fresh pepper not offered. Not what I expected for a $27 salad. The Ahi Tuna Salad had by another at our table looked good and he said he enjoyed it. Another in our party had the Grilled Scallops as their meal. Awesome place! My parents and i came here while visiting in DC and it was great! Our waiter Walid K. was fabulous, and the service through the night was wonderful. I went for brunch with friends, and I ordered the steak & eggs... My food was decent, nothing spectacular. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium, and it came back to me well done. I will say it was seasoned pretty decently, so I ate it anyways. But the reason why I'm giving a 3 star rating lies with the bottomless mimosas. I've never had bottomless mimosas that taste like nothing. Literally like alcoholic water is the best way to explain it. My friends and I went as far as asking for different juices and then straight up telling the waiter about our issue, which in response he gave us extra champagne for our mimosas. This is when we figured out that it was the champagne causing the problem... whatever house champagne they were using was cheap and tasteless and smelled like dirty water. Needless to say, not a fan. Overall, it was a decent brunch experience, but if I had not been with a great group of friends, this review might have been less than 3 stars. read more

Went to Station 4 today and was greeted by Jessi. It was the best restaurant experience I've had in a long while because of her service. Jessi was attentive, kind, and respectful. She made sure our needs were met without even having to ask. My friend and I will be regulars and will be recommending this place to all of our friends. The food was well prepared and Jessi made sure my friend's steak was rare upon second prep after my friend accidentally ordered the wrong prep type. The rest of the staff was amazing and prompt, but Jessi was definitely the best and the reason we will be returning. read more

The appetizers were great! My recommendation is to come and load up on apps because I would come back solely for those. We got the Brie crostini and the mussels, definitely recommend. I'd try to mac n cheese next time too it looked amazing. The specialty jambalaya was pretty good too. This used to be my GO TO recommendation for anyone looking for a solid brunch in DC. However, this last time was definitely not as good as the many times I had been here before. First let me start by saying they do offer a solid deal including bottomless mimosas or bloody marys. That being said, the mimosas are made in batches and IMO have too much orange juice. The food here is pretty solid and the menu is equally good. They have your typical brunch items and they are made pretty well. This time I got the salmon eggs benedict with a side salad and a side of bacon. It was great!!! I also tried ALL of the champagne cocktails which at $5 a pop its not a bad deal and to me is a better deal than the mimosas. All of the cocktails were delicious with the exception of the sunrise, I recommend the spritzer! Were this trip failed was in the service. When I asked the waiter how the mimosas were made, or when I asked if I could sub home fries with a side salad, or when I had a question about the menu at all it was like I was asking WAY to much of him. To me these are basic things that a waiter has to deal with on a daily basis. He made me feel almost afraid to ask a question, which is not a good vibe for a waiter to put out. Also, considering I wasn't opting for the bottomless option you would think he would have jumped at getting me more drinks. On the contrary, he brought the mimosas out way faster than I could order another drink. At the end of the meal when I asked about coffee he looked as if I had slapped him. I know this is just one waiter and everyone has bad days but it certainly put a bad taste in my mouth. I will probably go back but I am not urging my friends to come here any time soon. read more

Attended an engagement brunch. The mimosas aren't bad. Mine can never reach the bottom in fact. They don't play, they continue to refill them. The $35 mimosa and entree isn't a bad deal considering you are going to get in at least 5 refills. I thoroughly enjoyed my steak and eggs. It was seasoned really well. Cooked medium just the way I like. My partner had the breakfast burger. All delicious. The service was on par for our group of 40 people. We wanted for nothing. By the way, she said yes. Stop thru. To whom it may concern, right now we are in Station 4. Overall it has been a little bit of a mess. First, we had our reservation messed up and with a big group we did Station 4 the courtesy of calling ahead of time three time, but still had problems with the reservation. Second, our server has been very rude and has been neglectful of us. He took very long to get us our drinks and serve us at first. We also never got cornbread and we have seen many tables eating their cornbread as an appetizer. Third, once we got our order taken we had many of our waters refilled and the refilling has been very sloppy. He keeps refilling too quickly and spilling water everywhere. Fourth, the lemonade tastes like minute made and that is now what we expect from a high tier establishment. Thank you and I hope Station 4 addresses all these problems with their service. read more

This place isn't what it used to be.... Multiple mosquitos were flying in. The hostess wasn't the most friendliest even though I explained to him we had a reservation. I've never been here before and I won't be back. BM all over the toilet seat which while not their fault so beyond gross and then I legit saw the bartender blow his nose and not wash his hands. The food was not at all good, lacking flavor and totally tasteless. Their excise for a Bloody Mary is red substance with way to much spice in it and no tomato flavor. We got kicked out without being told there was a time limit and without being warned about a time limit at any point throughout our dinner time and when I asked the employee what her name was she refused to tell me and kept going back-and-forth with me and was rude it was quite embarrassing. she eventually told me her name and it was Nadire. We were celebrating my graduation and had a party of 10 people with an $800 bill, you would think they would provide better customer service. The salmon that I had was raw, though they did take it off the bill and asked me if I would like anything else. the short rib was dry and the pasta was flavorless. Visited Station 4 for a friend's birthday. We sat in the bar area, specifically the high tables. The establishment is very welcoming and intimate. The bartender doubled as our waiter- he was super funny and honest about everything on the menu. Easy on the eye may I add ;) For starters: I really wished I wasn't allergic to apples because everyone ordered the white (blanco) sangria and I couldn't partake. Instead, I ended up getting a pinot nior. Any who- we were on an 'lets try as much as we can mission' so we ordered the Traditional Margherita pizza as an appetizer ( My friends and I are greedy). I'm not a huge cheese fan but the table seemed to love it, in-part because it's "light" in comparison to the rest of the menu. We ALL ordered the Die-hard burger. For $14, that puppy definitely got the job done. The burger was cooked to perfection and the duck fries that accompanied the burger were just as good. The fries were covered in garlic and parsley I'm assuming. All in all, I would return. I can't give it 5 stars because I didn't care for the cheese pizza. But Happy Hour prices are good and the crowd is pretty chill. And I love the ambiance. read more

They do add a 20% gratuity automatically for subpar service, guess you cannot tip for the service you get. I would not recommend this place. The drinks were good though. I didn't know it was new, however our server Angel was just that, he was a great help in choosing great meal and drink choices. I see no reason in making this a usual spot for me. My mashed potatoes were also awful - they tasted like they were made from a powdered mix or something - I had one bite and couldn't stomach any more. My sister's fries were the only decent thing on the table. I didn't drink anything except black coffee. My wife has two mimosas. When we got the bill there were two charges for $48.58 and they that's for everyone. Why have prices on the menu for any dish then. I had French toast at $16 and wife had the Heuvos Rancheros. The food is good. The manager came over to us and was insulting saying we look like we are from out of town. His name was Paul. He gave 10% off whoopty do. It's not even close to me not affording but the principal. My husband and I came here for our Anniversary before attending a play at Arena Stage. The food was top notch! My brother loves this place and recommended it. We had the special (Dorade which is a sea bass) and the pork chop... tender and succulent! The Gorgonzola potatoes were yummy and the asparagus and brocolini were perfect and not overdone.
