My party of 6 RAVED about the food. Try the salmon and Kobe burger. I will say we didn't understand why they put ice in my friend's Hennessy without asking, but he drank it without complaining. Found they had a salmon blt, upon entering the doors seem locked they are very hard to open. Their was one host he was ok. The tables were dirty . I think this business is loosing its lust . You can tell it was a nice location before and the sandwich was good ..I could have used some season on my chicken but with som tlc and more traffic it may come back. read more

I'm all for trying the local spots near me and whether or not you live near SE, having the Metro stop literally out your front door is great. First the interior space is nice. I like the bar and restaurant feel and like other comments, the bathroom setup is a little awkward. As for the food, I had the pork shank with Roquefort mashed potatoes and found the serving portion more than adequate. The flavor and taste was very good and I would surely try again. The service was kind of off and uneven. I don't think they had enough servers working the space as they were not coming by when you needed them. However, the managers are walking around and checking in so I always take that to be a good sign. I will try Station 4 again but would hope their pricing might be adjusted as others have already commented. read more

Station 4 was a very "average" brunch spot. Pros: They book through OpenTable and had plenty of space, so getting in was made extremely easy. The Brunch menu was an Entree + Bottomless Mimosas/Bloody Mary's for $35- they never let our drinks get empty; our waiter kept on bringing them. The ambiance is nice-- a balance of casual and contemporary. The con: The food was just 'okay.' I had the breakfast burger, it was good, but nothing about it was exceptional. My friend got the Greek Omelette with potatoes and toast-- and again, very average. For the price, there are generally no complaints. But there are definitely better spots in DC if you're looking for a unique experience or exceptional food. read more

Really disappointed as this could have been a five-star experience. Made a reservation over a week in advance and asked for a table next to a window as this was an anniversary (listed via comments in the open table reservation). We saw these cool red seating options via their posts and wanted to have that as apart of the experience. We get there about 20 minutes early and there's really a lot of open tables and one with the red sofa was open. We were told that was being held for a larger group in the event the night filled up (it was just the two of us). Ok, but we were taken to a table with exactly the same number of seats, actually more and had asked specifically for that type of seating. The hostess fumbled through some statements but never clarified why we really couldn't have that table and I even asked how I could reserve it in the future. I realized that either there was a language gap or some regular had somehow had a hold on that table. Is what it is and we moved on but it was clear there was not a reservation for that table?? We ordered cocktails, appetizers, steaks, a bottle of wine, desserts, etc. Suffice to say a hefty bill only to see a guy sit at the table we asked for by himself only to be joined by two other guys who ate burgers, wings, and beer. So we were sort of taken by the "larger" party snagging that table when clearly there were other tables, just like the one we were given. If not for our waitress being a complete jewel, we would have just cashed out and left immediately. The anniversary dinner was marred by the poor hosting decision. The food was really good but the bar was struggling with drinks. It is unlikely we will return given the other options in the area. read more

Maroun is the M-MVP! Mimosa MVP!! Came here for Columbus Day bottomless brunch! $35 all you can drink mimosas and bloodies, we stuck to the mimosas the whole time. The dining room is fairly large and it was actually pretty dead that day. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was Maroun and he was great and VERY attentive throughout our entire visit, even after we had paid! They had quite a few good looking items on the menu and I was pretty stoked when I saw the breakfast pizza. Unfortunately, they didn't have it that morning because something something the shipment never came in something. A little bummed, but I got the heuvos rancheros instead and my dining partner got the MASSIVE French toast! I'm not a huge French toast fan so I didn't try his but my huevos were absolutely delicious! So, why is Maroun the M-MVP? Seriously anytime we had less than a full glass of mimosas, he immediately ran over and topped them off! Even after we paid, we just wanted to hang out for a bit and the place really was more than half empty so it didn't seem like a big deal. Found this restaurant on Google for brunch. Walked in a the front desk customer service was good. Once seated our waited David was not the best at his job. Food was just pay and David was not accommodating at all. We had to ask other servers for condiments because he never came back. It was so bad I had to ask for water. We asked the other server for our bill and once we received the bill David finally came back after 2 hours. Our bill was $81 gratuity was included. We gave David a $100 and he stated he doesn't have change so he thought he could keep the $100.... Service was unbelievable. Manager came and gave us change for $100. Yeah we will not be back. The food was pretty good, though over-priced for what it was. And the service was virtually nonexistent. The Miss Universe pageant was on and our server was engrossed in it. There were maybe 6 other patrons - 2 at the bar and a 4 top. With our meals (both ordered fish & chips) and a bottle of wine, so our bill was easily over $100. While I was seated with 1 of my friends, some ladies came and wanted to be seated where I had asked for the host to keep the table open. The restaurant was literally empty but the host was about to seat the ladies at the table where I requested that the table be left for me. My party did use all EIGHT seats but our waiter seemed as though he was disgusted that he had to serve us. He kept on giving us much attitude. I wanted to walk out immediately and not give them business but my friends wanted to stay there. I did not eat. They did. I had one adult beverage. Our waiter looked like a angry man who just did not want to be there. His attitude set me off so I pretty much gave him lip service because he made me feel uncomfortable. I'm never going back there and I hate that this restaurant is in my neighborhood that I currently live in and grew up in. I am a Native Washingtonian. This used to be a close and friendly neighborhood. These people who come here are aloof and know nothing of the culture. This is how I felt in the restaurant by the waiter as though my friends and I were fungus. I hope the dogs that walk pass the restaurant pee on the windows. That pee represents piss poor service they give. Another reason why I didn't want to eat was that I was afraid the waiter would spit in my food or put something in it. I wasn't drinking at the time and so, didn't take advantage of the bottomless mimosa deal. Only 3 out of the 10 of us actually did. I just ordered the pizza as I also don't eat meat... this is becoming a blah review I know, and it was actually pretty flavorful. I believe it was the Mediterranean Pizza. It was nicely peppered with artichoke hearts and other brined veggies. I also don't eat as much and brought the rest of it to go and gave it to a homeless man on the way home. Great environment. My fiance and I arrived a little early to have a drink at the bar at 10:05 since, according to their website and posted hours, they open at 10:00am. Doors were locked, lights were out and we could see chairs still on tables through the windows yet people were moving around inside. We went across the street to get a coffee and call. No answer. Ate at this restaurant last night. I ordered salmon and it was ok, the French onion soup was horrible and upset my stomach ! my boyfriend ordered the crab cakes , they were not good at all.
