Super cute breakfast spot! I love the ambiance and the design inside the restaurant. We were seated in a large booth that can fit 6 people easily. There were plenty of tables that can fit small to large parties which was nice to see. Our server was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately their espresso machine was out of order and they didn't have fries available when we came in so it was a little bummer. The food was delicious, I ordered a create your own omlette with fruit on the side. The fruit was fresh! My boyfriend loved the grilled steak sandwich as well and was very filling. Prices were reasonable overall!

M-F before 10AM $9 breakfast special is worth it, outside of that I'd give it 3 stars. The place is cute, I love all the plants makes it feel less diner vibes. It's big and open with a lot of booths and tables. I went on a Friday morning around 9 with my husband and baby and we had no issues grabbing a table, there were maybe 2-3 other tables at the time. It stayed fairly empty while we dinned. I got the all American breakfast with potatoes, sausage, toast and added bacon. I'm pretty sure I was overcharged since the special is any entree plus a side for $9 but I got charged extra for the bacon... honestly bacon is really good while sausage is just fine. I also ordered a chai which was a good portion and tasty. Portions are fine and food is fine, nothing special.

Great food amazing service . The potatoes were incredibly flavorful and the waitress is super kind and fast! The eggs with Swiss were super good! The waitress Emily had the best service ! Ask for her!

If you don't come for anything else, please come for the breakfast potatoes and vibes. I came solo on a weekday afternoon for brunch. There was only one other table of people there when I stopped by, but this place may get more traffic on the weekends. The space is fairly large and can fit both smaller groups and larger ones. I didn't bring my laptop when I came by, but I could totally see myself coming back on a weekday to be productive. I ordered the cajun omelet and breakfast potatoes. The omelet was the perfect size and the ingredients tasted fresh. The breakfast potatoes are different from most others I've had and I really enjoyed them. Great Logan Square area daytime place!

Stay Cafe is the breakfast/brunch spot that Logan Square needed Open 7 days a week from 7am - 2pm, you can get tasty breakfast, brunch or lunch! They are offering a great selection of food AND drinks and is the perfect spot to get your day started. The vibes are chill and relaxed and as customers start to pile in, you get the cool, neighborhood vibes. Plenty of families were there, so feel free to bring the kiddos too! Food that I tried: Smoked Salmon Benedict Banana Foster French Toast Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes Breakfast Potatoes Scrambled Eggs Everything was GOOD! The bananas foster French toast was delicious and I loved the candied pecans on top. However - BREAKFAST POTATOES!!!! O. M. G. They were BEYOND GOOD! They're made with a black pepper pecorino aioli that is crazy good. These are the best breakfast potatoes I've had anywhere! They also have mimosa flights and an espresso bar. Sweet! Try their Sister location a couple of doors down - Bad Habit. It's sooooooo delish and one of my favorite restaurants in Logan Square. I love them! Pop in one morning to try them for yourself and tell 'em that Bri from Planes and Plates sent you and be sure to follow me for more great recs around Chicago and beyond. Enjoy!

Smoked salmon Benedict!! That dill hollandaise was so good.

The cutest spot. Warm and friendly staff. Food was delicious. Smoked salmon Eggs Benedict with perfectly poached eggs and nice large slices of smoked salmon!!! And yes, the dill hollandaise sauce was really good. We got table pancakes to share and they were light and delicious fluffy with enough fruit for us to share. Perfect post puppy yoga brunch!!!

Went here for brunch a few weeks back and the food was really good! I was in the mood for an omelet so I am glad we stopped here. We ate outside, I like how their outdoor booths have a little privacy screen so you aren't just staring at the cars. As for the restaurant itself, it appeared very clean and bright. The staff was attentive and fast. I got the Sicilian omelet which was delicious and the amount of goat cheese in it was perfect! I love anything with sun dried tomatoes and artichokes. My boyfriend got the Cajun omelet and he said it was one of the best he had. We also were surprised about the breakfast potatoes, because normally when you get a side of potatoes they don't look as perfect and delicious as these. Would definitely recommend getting them on the side!

Great addition to the brunch scene in Chicago! Stay Cafe is such a cozy but modern venue to satisfy your brunch needs. The Chef really shines with the Banana Foster French Toast, among some of the best French Toast I've had. I've also had the potatoes which are a delight that you don't get everywhere. I was pleasantly surprised with the Quinoa salad, the dressing was perfect and really made it tasty. If I could make all Vegan food this delicious, I'd have no problem going Vegan. It is a bit pricey for what you get, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. Having come here a few times, the only downside I've encountered is the service. It is quite disappointing when your food/coffee takes forever because the server forgot to put the order in and/or when your coffee does not get refilled. This happened with a couple of family members. The space is on Milwaukee, right off the Milwaukee/Western/Armitage intersection so a few minute walk from Western blue line. Street parking is metered but many folks use the lot next door, where the Robin Williams mural is.

Stay cafe was one of the best brunch places we recently have went to in Chicago! The restaurant was filled with beautiful plants and felt very clean. It was awesome that they offered brunch and lunch options. They also had a lovely drink menu (alcoholic and non alcoholic). Highly recommend their breakfast potatoes!!

Space is modern with convenient street parking. Food and service was only okay. Expected a little more from the red velvet pancakes but they were a bit more chewy and less fluffy than I would've liked. My espresso martini was good. Presentation for my omelette and several other dishes was lackluster. Maybe because I'm used to getting some type of house potatoes or toast at the least with my brunch orders.

I have found an awesome cafe. But sadly, it's an hour drive from my home. But I have to share. It's worth the time. Free off-road parking two minutes away ( gated) . Look for the small sign on the ticket shed. There's also large paintings on a brick wall. Now back to the cafe. I liked the decor modem and bright. Large booths and tables. Comfortable seating all round. The staff were helpful and friendly. Watching the staff, you can see teamwork. The menu is a good size. Something enjoyable for everyone. Plus, there's great coffee options and other drinks. The food we all chose came out hot and in a great time frame. All tastie. For me, it's a 10 out of 10. I look forward to going back. A little information. Connecting to the cafe is a small bar . Which I was invited to see. Beautiful inside. Has a private room for events. Any food served is prepared from the stay cafe. check this out also for times. But even better, there's a Speak easy in the basement, which will be opening soon. Great all-around building.

My salted caramel coffee was epic! The all American breakfast was pretty standard, a little light - the 1 slice of toast was noticeable. The avocado breakfast sandwich was good but confused us since the chickpea was more fritter / patty then a hash & looked like breaded chicken - feel like they should update the menu name. Not much avocado, since it's only a spread

They are known for their burger but I am not a huge burger fan. Their other food is amazing though! Even my boyfriend who loves burgers agreed that the chicken sandwich was one of the best and maybe even better than the burger. Definitely get the mac & cheese, chicken sandwich, and french onion soup. The french onion soup was super cheesy and the mac & cheese was so creamy and perfect. Typically I don't like bacon in mac & cheese, but I love that they don't overdo it here where it overpowers the entire dish. It was only some tiny pieces of bacon just for the flavor.

The patio did come with a couple of uninvited guests - mosquitoes, and at one point a spider stopped by my plate. Thankfully, these visitors did not dampen our overall experience. We started with cocktails and tried the Avant Gardener - gin with sorrel, bay leaf and lemon - and the wonderfully named You Go Glen Coco, made with rum, ube, coconut, lemongrass, cacao nibs, honeysuckle and ginger. Two very different and creative cocktails that fit nicely with the experience. We tried quite a bit of the menu. The dry-aged duck was my favorite. The beef tartare was incredibly tasty, and the scallops and Boka's signature roasted chicken were right up there as well. Presentation was clearly part of the experience - every dish arrived looking as carefully thought out as it tasted. We finished with dessert, and the Sweet Corn Custard was the winner for me. Service throughout the evening was good and attentive, and we walked away with a highly satisfied experience. Next time, though, I'm choosing a table inside - and leaving the spiders to enjoy the patio.

So, I finally made a reservation for Boka. There are several reasons that Boka looks attractive to me: a fine-dining restaurant opening on Monday, creative New American dishes, and importantly, they allow customers to order à la carte. I went there at 7:45pm on Monday and at that time the restaurant was about half-full. I tried the following dishes: 1. Bluefin Tuna Tart. A bite size app. The tart was filled with cherry puree/sauce, finely "minced" tuna and yuzu jelly, from bottom to top. Very rich in texture, and had a good balance of flavors. 2. Tortelli. Italian Dumplings filled with ricotta+tarragon, cooked with maitake and sweet corns, and topped with shaved goat gouda. The dumplings came with 6 pc, all generously filled with cheese. There was also lots of shaved goat gouda. These absolutely made the dish very rich in flavor, but a large amount of cheese also means it could be salty. The corns, luckily, added some refreshing sweetness to it. 3. Black Truffle Chicken. I ordered it mainly because I wondered how well a Michelin star restaurant cooks chicken, which could easily be made too dry. Surprisingly, the chicken was so tender and juicy that it required little effort to slice it! Moreover, interestingly, the chicken breast was stuffed with some sausage (the layer you see between the skin and the meat). Unfortunately, the dish was too salty for me: the chicken was brined, the sausage may had been cured, the jus and zucchini puree were also salty. I tried to finish it but could not, so I asked a bartender to send it back to the kitchen. 4. Roasted Hokkaido Scallops. Another creative dish. The seared scallops were paired with pickled & grilled cucumber slices, diced seaweed & radish, cauliflower puree, perhaps some puffed rice, and garnished with tarragon infused oil. I really liked the smoky and sour cucumber slices and the umami seaweed & radish. The puffed rice added some delightful crispiness to the dish. But the taste of cauliflower puree was more or less over-shadowed by the other ingredients. 5. Dinner rolls. Potato rolls with sunflower seeds. Served with fennel pollen+sea salt butter. Bread service was free. Service was, overall, top-level. I was greeted warmly by the reciptionist and the bartenders (I sat at the bar). The staff all had a good knowledge about the ingredients in the dishes, as well as how they are prepared (actually it seems that they had a book to record these, because I saw two of them reading and discussing such). When I complained about the chicken, they apologized to me and offered to cook something else for me for free. I might come back in the future if I see something interesting on their seasonally changing menu.

The patties were insanely juicy and perfectly cooked, with that beautiful crispy, caramelized edge you want from a great griddle burger. The combination of the melted cheese, creamy sauce, onions, pickles and that ridiculously buttery brioche bun was borderline unfair. Rich, messy, salty, savory and completely indulgent in the best possible way. And that bun deserves its own mention.
