We stopped at 2 other hotels with 4 star ratings and Got bed bugs. $ refunded and left. Managers on site, which is very nice. Late night, invited I for a cup of tea. Their apartment is Spotless. Smelled really nice. Got lucky she sells Scentsy. Was able to make a couple purchases from her. Now our room and truck. We'll be continuing our stay for the next couple weeks. Not there much. To know onsite mgmt is there, gives us peace of mind. Clean linen is such a welcome. Ac works. So glad we tried this little gem. Furniture a bit outdated. Clean is clean.

I am responding to ES comment, or Eileen Swickle, about her bed bug problem. Ms. Swickle came to our facility on foot on June 10, 2019, claiming her car broke down. She claimed her Aunt in New York would need to pay for her as that that is who controls all of her finances. After discussing it over with her Aunt and getting payment, Eileen proceeded to thank me as that she told me she was homeless and had been living on the streets in Kissimmee. She had a distinct odor coming for her and her legs were bandaged and had bite marks all over them. The previous Managers checked Ms Swickles room for what she considered were bed bugs for an hour and a half and found NO TRACE of any such thing. I was not present for said search as that I was not a full time Manager at that time. Ms Swickle was then moved to a different room, of which 2 weeks into it she made the same complaint. My husband I checked and found no evidence of bed bugs again. She did ask me to spray under her sink and I did. And she asked me to spray her room for all bugs. I told her the spray we use is pet friendly and safe, as that I, as well as other tenants have pets and I am very cautious when it does come to pets. I did as she asked and sprayed her entire room, avoiding the area where her cat was, as that Ms Swickle had been complaining several times a day about various things to all 4 Managers, I didnt want a complaint about her cat getting sick. Sure enough after SHE ASKED ME TO SPRAY, the very next day she came into a room I was cleaning, where she had NO BUSINESS being, and accused me of poisoning her cat. She, as well as my husband, were in the room when I sprayed to appease her, and it was clearly noted by her and thanked me for avoiding her cats area. Ms. Swickle told me at said time she hadnt showered since she bad been at our facility, claiming for some unknown reason that she could not use our shower. But suddenly on her last day of stay could. Ironic. While here her cat, who DID NOT wear a vest as a service animal, or have ANY markings showing it was a service animal, destroyed our sheets and towels for urinating all over them. I could have charged her for damages but did not. Regarding the wifi password, I gave Ms Swickle the SAME EXACT password the previous Manager gave her. I have NO intentions of dissuading tenants from using our Wifi. The first room Ms Swickle was put in, Room 106, had NO password on it. She had trouble getting online as that she was sharing the service with other tenants. Room 102 she had to use the office wifi, and Im sorry to say Ms. Swickle, BUT Motel Business being conducted is more important than your usage of our Wifi. The wifi at our facility is a privilege. Ms. Swickle likewise tied our business line up daily, sometimes for hours, and we were not getting important business phone calls because she was CONSTANTLY on the phone. The black snake Ms. Swickle saw was investigated by both my husband and the previous Managers husband, and found to be a pipe snake. She was told this, yet continued to call and harass all 4 Managers about it. Even though it was in the backyard where ONLY Managers are allowed. As far as cleaning, I can tell you my system daily for each room I clean. I strip beds of sheets and bed spread and take to our laundry room to wash. Sheets and towels are ALWAYS bleached. Everything in the room is cleaned with Odaban or Simple Green, as that both kill all viruses including HIV. And I am a stickler about that, as that I have a poor immune system. I scrub shower top to bottom. Scrub sinks. Scrub toilet. After Im done I sweep entire room and bathroom, put bed back together AND I mop. Lavendar Fabuloso is a hit as it makes our rooms smell amazing. And yes, I sweep under the bed. I have a broom that reaches.

We called them mid-morning on the 14th, informed them that we were aware of their 3pm check-in rule, and asked if there was any way at all that we could check in just a little bit earlier. To our delighted surprise, Sara, (Alhambra Hotel Manager) told us she'd take a walk down to our room to ensure it was all ready, and that we shouldn't worry at all about 3pm check-in, but instead come right on over! When we arrived, we met Sarah and Isa at the front desk, and we knew that we were certainly in the right hands. Not only was everyone friendly, but they went above and beyond. They checked us in, inquired about our trip and our disastrous first hotel, told us all about the area and Disney, helped us pick out pamphlets which interested US in particular, gave us simple directions to great, close dining locations, and made sure we understood that if there was ANYTHING they could do to make our stay better, all we needed to do was reach out. We drove about 30 seconds away to our hotel room, took out the key, looked at each other pensively, and opened the door to find... CLEANLINESS! It was neat, clean, bright, spacious and smelled so fresh! Truly, we were delighted! FUN FACT: if you're on a budget and dining out each night makes things a little tight, they have a very nice, large communal BBQ and several picnic tables on the side of the property. These are open to all Alhambra guests, and were in use while we were visiting. The rest of our stay was perfect. Whether we were adventuring at a Disney theme park, visiting Orlando, swimming in/relaxing by the pool, or questing for the perfect tacos, upon returning to Alhambra, we were met with peace, serenity, friendly faces, and tidiness. Sarah and the rest of the employees at this hotel truly saved our vacation! If you're looking to vacation in the Orlando/Kissimmee area, absolutely stay at Alhambra - you will most certainly be happy you did!

There was so much for the kids to do that they were never bored. They loved everything from the waterslide and foam party to the arts and crafts, but their absolute favorite was the scavenger hunts. The pool was perfect for the Florida heat, and the refreshing drinks available poolside were a great bonus. One employee was walking around kindly reminding guests to keep their drinks on the edge of the pool instead of in the water. He was always polite and friendly, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend and can't wait to come back!

However it states I am in the mid 100's....so I call and inquire. At the time of the call there were 109 sites vacant. The girl proceeds to tell me if you dont pay a $50 lock fee. They can move me at their discretion. So I got moved....additionally, got here an hour early and had to pay $25 early check in. 109 empty spots and the pool is like a carnival cruise pool....SLAMMED! Only 2 small comfort stations. No shade to be found. We are here now, and this may well get updated for a vetter rating...or worse, who knows. But it seems like a resort that will nickel and dime you to death. And moving someone who booked, and paid in full is some shady crap....they are all about the money grab!

The new owner is cheap, all supplies from Temu, poor security and nobody in the office, the walls are infested with cockroaches, they are doing the cheapest thing they can do! The sewer is stopped up, running in and around the building, rooms that flooded from toilet being taking up, and the room was rented before complete sanitize clean, (room 15)! A lot of the rooms had druggies in them, and they are not properly sanitizing them! The prices for the worst rooms in town is ridiculous! We left on our own, due to the poor work being done! The building is unsafe, unsanitary and a fire hazard! We were wishing the best for this place and to turn it around but unfortunately because of the property manager, this was not how it ended up being! Code enforcement is lazy, they know all of this and still haven't dealt with it and continue to allow it to be open! If you have kids it's very dangerous, between the rooms being unsafe and the vehicles flying through the parking lot! I would never advise anyone to stay here! My husband would get up , all hours of the night to answer a phone call or to check people in (3 or 4 o'clock am! Was open 24/7, we rarely left because the owner said that we had to be there 24/7! Also a reminder that we were there for 7 months and not having to pay rent, yes it was great so we could save for our new place but they act like its giving you a place, without rent, adds up to, no income at all, $350/week, is worth not getting any income, can't pay your bills or have any money, never offered or asked how are you paying your bills, since they refuse to pay you, a life full of stress, open 24/7, getting up and answering the phone or door (even if no rooms are available, even at 3-4am), constantly writing reviews, so it looks like it's a great place to stay!
