My room was a king studio suite which was very roomy with a kitchen and then a couch with a long desk and a TV on a swivel to be able to watch in bed or on the couch. I did make it down to breakfast one morning and it was ok , they had scrambled eggs , sausage and French toast sticks along with all the normal continental breakfast items. I think you main draw to this hotel would be location as you are in the parking lot of the Burlington mall and a lot of food options to eat at. Also the staff was friendly and always greeted me when I passed the front desk.

Not a bad hotel overall, but it didn't feel like what I typically expect from a Marriott…read more The first issue was security. I discovered on the morning of our second day that our ground-floor window opened--and, more importantly, it wasn't locked. It's kind of neat that the window opens, but it definitely should have been secured before guests arrived. Another surprise was that there was no complimentary coffee available in the lobby on the weekend. We had to leave very early on Friday morning, and grabbing a quick cup of coffee before heading out would have been nice. That seems like a basic amenity for a Marriott. We were staying during a large baseball tournament, so the hotel was filled with teams. In the evenings, the players wanted to relax, play cards, and hang out. They were sitting on the couches by the fireplace--not inside the restaurant--but because one of the boys had a Gatorade on the table, staff told them they had to leave since that area was considered part of the restaurant. It felt unnecessarily strict and gave the impression that the hotel wasn't very accommodating to families and tournament guests. To the hotel's credit, they did an impressive job keeping everything clean. Between what appeared to be two wedding receptions, hundreds of teenage baseball players, and FIFA soccer visitors, the staff had their hands full, and the property remained well maintained. My last complaint is one I've noticed in many hotels: the bathroom exhaust fan was ineffective. After a hot shower, the bathroom stayed humid and damp for hours. Overall, I would recommend staying here, especially if you need to be in the area. Just don't expect the warm, welcoming atmosphere that I usually associate with Marriott properties. The hotel was clean and comfortable, but some of the policies and guest experience felt a little more rigid than necessary.

The knocks... 1) did find some hairs in the corner of bathroom. I wasn't looking for it, but it was obvious enough. 2) on Wednesday the M lounge attendant was rude or frantic. Other days and in AM they're great. 3) the food was same as all other lounges but some offer complimentary beer and wine. Don't drink so I didn't care. Overall, impressed and would recommend this location.

I got there at 4:45 and had to wait a half hour to get into the room. Got a voucher for anything I wanted from their breakfast selection. Got into room and no TV remote. Called Hotel Services. No answer. Walked to front desk and told them. She said she'd take care of it. Time goes by and finally a young woman appears at the door but she says she will talk to Maintenance. So I wait for 45 minutes. Nothing. I return to the front desk and tell her. She said something about her boss was coming in soon. So I waited some more and a very nice guy from Maintenance came with a remote but it didn't work so he messed around with the TV and left me with a remote. Maybe 20 minutes later he returned messed around with the TV again and left a remote. So that was that until this morning when I tried to take a shower. The water came out of the tub spout but did not come out of the shower. Nor did it come out of the hand-held spout so I had to take a sponge bath. This was supposed to be an accessible room. There was a fold-down seat in the shower. The containers for soap/shampoo/conditioner were on the wall behind the seat - totally not accessible if you are sitting on the seat. I left a wake-up call for 6:30. Didn't get it!!!!! The front desk said it wasn't answered. I checked the ringers on the phone. One was on high and one was on medium. By the way I would think that in an accessible room the phone would be near the bed. This was across the room on a desk. Went to the desk to complain and to say I wanted a refund. She said the only manager on duty was the food and beverage manager so I spoke to him. I certainly hope I will be given a refund. Two other notes. This was supposed to be an accessible room.

The AC did not work at all, leaving the room hot and stuffy (84 degrees), and the carpet was visibly filthy. To make matters worse, the front desk was completely unattended by management and was being staffed by the janitor instead. When I asked to switch to a different room because of the conditions, he refused and claimed the hotel was completely full. This was a blatant lie, considering the parking lot was completely empty at 10:30 PM. The next morning was no better, as the breakfast provided was very poor with almost no options. By the time I arrived to town and got to the hotel, my room was ready and I was able to walk straight to it rather than check in at the front desk. The room was very clean and had everything that I needed to make my stay a comfortable one (large screen TV, wi-fi, comfortable bed and pillows, desk, and USB ports to charge my mobile phones). The morning breakfast starts at 6 AM and consists of scrambled eggs, bacon, turkey sausage patties, toast, fruit, yogurt, granola, hard boiled eggs, coffee, and juice). My last visit to the area, I booked the same hotel brand further North and closer to the New Hampshire border. I discovered at that hotel I stayed in farther North, I was going the same direction as people who work in Boston and travel North to home. The traffic was so busy at rush hour in those directions they open the breakdown lane (shoulder) as a travel lane. This time I decided to stay in a hotel closer to Boston because I would be traveling in the opposite direction of traffic during rush hour. I noticed this hotel is both a Homewood Suites and a Hampton Inn. I chose to book the Homewood Suites and selected a king studio suite because I knew I would have a little more space to do work in the evening and watch TV at the same. I also appreciate the kitchenette and full size refrigerator with other essentials for a longer stay. I booked and checked in online ahead of my visit. When I arrived I went to the front desk to get a key for the room because I've had some difficulty using the digital keys in the past. I ate a small breakfast each morning which was included. I was thankful the breakfast started at 6am each weekday because I needed to leave relatively early. Each morning there was a form of egg and meat and a couple of days there was also a potato. The eggs options ranged from scrambled to cheese omelets, to western omelets. The meat ranged from Canadian bacon to sausage patties, sausage links and diagonally cut link sausage slices. They had bagels, bread for toasting, oatmeal, a waffle maker and some other options. I was able to get something for breakfast each morning. In addition, there is a Chick-fil-A practically in the parking lot for the hotel which is open from 6:30am to 10:00 pm. I was able to relax a little during my off time from work and get some rest. Overall this was a great stay, it was quiet and comfortable. Other than the room and the breakfast I did not check out any of the other hotel amenities. I would recommend to others.

Atmosphere: Very clean, warm, traditional New England charm. Extremely comfortable seating. Restrooms were equally clean and well kept. Value: Brunch was $300 for the two of us which included a 20% gratuity. You can't really complain about the cost when you know what you're paying beforehand. Paying staff to work Easter Sunday is expensive. Sourcing local ingredients is expensive. Using fresh ingredients is expensive. We view this experience as a one off. Glad we went but at this price it's hard to justify going back again, for Easter anyway. (Regular brunch is far less expensive.) Overall: Couldn't have been much better to be honest. But, wow, pricey for what are essentially breakfast foods.
