The place was nice. Just your typical fast food place connected to a gas station. Steak and steak is still salty but the shakes do tend to balance all that salt out lol. Nice and quick when you need it. Staff decent but not the most personable but meh, oh well. Saw a beautiful rainbow while we were there!

I have stopped here many times in the past. It has always been a great place to stop for gas, clean restrooms, and cheap burgers. This time I wish I could give this location zero stars. We placed our order inside but ate in our truck. The inside was dirty. Everywhere I touch was sticky. The employee's appearance was comparable to a diesel mechanic. The price on their menu is incorrect, prices are different than what they charge you. The food made me sick. My husband's burger patty had a huge plastic paper. We quickly pulled over for him to throw up. Sad because steak and shake is normally Sooooooooo GREAT;" /

It's a long time Steak & Shake fan. I was excited to see them make it to Texas.... Perhaps now I have a better understanding of why so many stores have closed across the country.... They were best know for amazing shakes and good burgers... At a great value... shakes were the main attraction ... if you dined in they'd be served in a clear glass you could see the distinct flavors wrapped around each other. They were decadent.... This was vanilla ice cream with a few pumps of artificial flavoring... too thick to drink and no flavor to care... The fries were stone cold and no seasoning... not even salt... The burger was as just ok... except it's pretty common knowledge that if you order extra cheese and bacon it should be layered between the partties... As any burger and fry eater can tell you the first bite is a fry... I instantly knew I had a problem. But as soon as the set the bag on the counter the server scurried off to the back to gossip with the other employees and wasn't to be seen again.... I was there about 20 minutes and never a employee was spotted... Absolutely avoid this choice for a meal of any kind.... It's really too bad

A real joy to see a new Steak 'n Shake in Texoma. Only 30 miles from my house, and a weekly round trip drive is on my agenda now. Burgers are great! Fries are awesome!! What more is there to say ... it's STEAK 'N SHAKE!!

I hadn't been to a Steak 'n Shake in a long time, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The food is exactly as expected-a greasy steak burger that hits the spot. That is the last good thing I can say about this visit. The employees were apathetic at best, and the bathrooms were so disgusting that my girlfriend (no joke) lost her appetite and didn't order anything. It's obviously a newer store that could be a good restaurant if it got some attention from its owners/managers.

Beyond the cleanliness, the atmosphere is warm and exceptionally welcoming. The staff is genuinely friendly, and the owners go out of their way to ensure every guest feels truly taken care of. It is rare to find a place that balances such professional upkeep with a personal, "home-away-from-home" feel. Highly recommended for anyone in the area looking for a quality experience. The food is great. The plates are small ( which is fine ) but it would have been nice to have a bit of room to cut up my food , and I'd add a second side to anything that's not a sandwich, but even with just one side ( steaks get two ) you don't leave hungry. ( extra sides are 4 a piece) The only other suggestion is a basket of homemade bread would be perfect for this establishment . It's a southern food , steaks and gravy type place. A basket of bread would make it perfect . Great place though . We would go out of our way to stop again.

We had coffees that were typical diner coffee and pretty good. We ordered the chorizo burrito, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, and the skillets. It was all hot fresh and very good. I will definitely get that burrito again and the hash-browns were so good! Crispy and buttery. We hung out for a little bit catching up (they had slowed down and no one was waiting) and they didn't try to rush us and still gave us great service. I will definitely try this place again while in the area!

I'll be honest, I've never even heard of tzatziki on an omelette, but I'm here to tell you... I'm here for it! You want a Gyro meat omelette, cooked to absolute perfection, a 1/2 a mile high, with Gyro meat in it... and tzatziki sauce too? If this is your flavor profile, this place is worth the drive! In the words of my wife, and to the waitress and the owner... this is the Best omelette I have ever had!
