Garlic burgers kept popping up on my FYP on TikTok , so i became anxious to try it. When I googled garlic burgers near me, this location was top of the list . After reading a few reviews, i decided to try it. I ordered the garlic single steak burger Combo (A single Steakburger topped with American cheese served on a toasted bun with garlic butter spread and a sprinkle of garlic salt. Served with fries and a drink). I ordered via DoorDash, and my food arrived on time and fresh. It was Decent smash type burger, a little juicy from the garlic sauce but it wasn't too much . Fries were hot and crunchy. They could have filled the cup up tho.. maybe the dasher had a few of fries lol jk, my order was sealed. I enjoyed what I ordered and I definitely would order this burger and from here again whenever I'm feeling like keeping the vampires away lol read more

Midlothian deserves better... I ordered a chocolate shake and fries... the worker didn't even say hello just shoved food into my face through the drive through.. i opened the bag it's just fries. So i waited for a couple mins to have her also shove the shake in my face... and didn't say a word. What's even odd about that is she handed me a shake with a pastic lid and no straw hole!? The Burger and fries were decent. But I was very disappointed with the shakes. Ordered 3 different kinds (for myself and 2 others) and all had a metallic taste so all went to waste because it was quite alarming and I'd rather waste the money they were payed for with than get sick. As I pulled up to the building, I was skeptical about it since it's attached to a gas station. Walked in and was surprised that it was cleaner than any Steak n Shake I've been to. I ordered my food and sat down, within 5 minutes I had my order. It was fresh and hot and I couldn't believe how good the service was. I will return to this place for sure. read more

On way home my husband called asking for a Steak n Shake original combo w drink. Drove out of my way in traffic , Went thru drive thru and placed the order- waited about 5 mins that was fine. Ya think? No one answers there phone !! Got there went in and talked to the "manager". handed him the Steak 'n Shake bag which had the BURGERLESS BUN in it. Let him see for himself how MOTLEY AND APPALLING THAT IS. He looked at me for half a second and said 3 words- "sorry about that "- did an immediate about face, briskly turned away and walked to the back and made a BURGER. After five or six mins of standing there I got the damn Burger handed to me. He said sorry again but didn't seem very sorry to me. I expected at least another Combo meal (like new hot fries?!!) not just a new burger. And maybe an offer of "can I make this up to you and offer you a FREE SHAKE"? "can I give you a refund?" Nothing was offered to make up for my having to go way out of my way because of THEIR HUGE MISTAKE! NO BURGER MEAT IN A BURGER AT STEAK N SHAKE WHEN THERE ARE 2-4 PEOPLE IN THE RESTAURANT? You can decide for yourself about this. And since I had to drive another THIRTY MINUTES - 15 more mins to go back and another 15 again to get home - WHAT? No thanks! Terrible terrible NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS PLACE. Oh! Guess what else? While I was standing waiting for my MEAT BURGER - a guy who apparently had ordered a couple Shakes with his friend walked up to the cash register and asked for a REFUND. The closing time is listed as 10pm, I pulled up to the drive thru last night at 9:14pm and was ignored at the speaker. I parked at the front and attempted to enter in person but the door was locked. I saw who I presume to be the manager and two employees inside cleaning. This means the manager ordered the restaurant to be closed a full hour before official closing time. got the original single steak burger with cheese and a shake. the buns tasted burnt and meat was not all that, but it was decent. it was enough for me to eat it. the fries weren't that good, and the shake was AWFUL. straight diabetes. if diabetes type 6 didn't exist before, it does now. the service was pretty good but the food was not all that and the hype was unnecessary. read more

Good food, good customer service. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt since they just opened recently. Couple of minor things: ordered a coke and was given Diet Coke. My wife and I both had fries with our drive through order. Hers were fresh and hot. Mine were cold and limp. Look forward to them getting things lined out. The staff at this Steak n' Shake is very attentive and helpful. There was a confusion with my order, but the staff was very quick to fix it for me and make me a new meal. The store is well kept and clean as well, and the food is great, especially the shakes! I definitely recommend it here. read more
