I don't make a point of bashing places often but the quality of this place has gone down so significantly in the past few years, it bears speaking about. We got pork tacos, quesadillas and queso. All were extremely poor versions of what they used to be. The tacos used to be stuffed. Full of meat and everything else. Now they fold over on themselves...the queso used to come with a real bag of chips. Now it's a small lunch sacks barely 1/4 of the way filled. The queso itself was watered down and flavorless. It used to be so good. What happened? The quesadilla didn't have garlic sauce. That's what made it unique. It's sad to see what was such a great place to eat make so many terrible changes. 05/05/2021 Tried again. Failed again. I ordered the queso shrimp tacos and an extra Mahi Miami. First off: the Miami was supposed to be served with fried fish. Coleslaw and pineapple. It was delivered with fried fish and half a pineapple slice. That was it. The queso shrimp tacos were by far not acceptable as well. Just compare the pics. As I told my wife. My carnita bowl was good, but my husband plate was cold. The tortillas was literally ice cold, no lie like it came out of the fridge. He asked for the tortilla only to be warmed or just put two warmed tortillas under the cold ones and they reheated everything but the tortillas. Will be the first and last time for him at this location. Otherwise, the restaurant was clean but clearly you can see the cooks were lazy. read more

Fuzzy's has long been my go to place. I grew up in cedar hill, and used to eat at the cedar hill one 2-3 times a week. They had the BEST customer service and staff. Sadly, that location closed down and my wife and I just moved to waxahahcie and was excited to be near a fuzzys again. Not only does this location have AWFUL hours, but the last time I went. The guy working asked me if I wanted to donate for a free taco on my next visit. I did, and went to redeem my free taco voucher the next time I went, but the different guy who was working told me my voucher expired October 15th. Which was the DAY AFTER they gave me the voucher. I like this location because it's closer to where I live. The food is always excellent, and the place is clean. The thing that gets me is that the cashier is not friendly. It's like it's a rush job to say what you want with nobody in line but you. This happened twice to me. I think the cashier can be more friendly and patient. read more

I came in around 11:00am on Tuesday and there must have been maybe 10 guests in the restaurant. I enjoyed the overall atmosphere. I had two beef fajita tacos, each being close to $3. Who doesn't love tacos? I love Fuzzy's. Food always tastes fresh. Salsa, potatoes, queso, and chips are super delicious and some of my favorite things on the menu. This location is pretty clean, but I haven't used the bathrooms, so can't comment on that. My favorite is the chicken fajita burrito bowl. It's reasonably priced and delicious. read more

For all that Fuzzy's does right, this location is completely wrong. 1) Girl who took my order acted like I was preventing her from doing something else. 2) It's a do-it-yourself place. Someone takes your order, then after that it's up to you to listen for your number to be called; good luck hearing it, then you have to retrieve it from the window, get your own silverware, and drink. 3) Food was very good, as always. 4) Judging from the annoyed/dirty look I got, I think they expected me to bus the table and leave a tip. So, for the second time is as many days, we found ourselves placing an order at Fuzzy's and once again, we were not disappointed. We had breakfast there two days ago and after a long day at the Scarborough Renaissance Festival, we decided on Fuzzy's for dinner. We placed the order online and within 15 minutes, I was able to walk in, pick up the order and go. The few times, I've ever ordered take-out Mexican food, it has always been soggy, wilted, etc...by the time I got home. Not so with Fuzzy's. The way they package the meals allows the customer put the ingredients together at home so you don't end up with chewy nachos. Everything was fresh and fantastically delicious. Wow! What a great dinner I just had at Fuzzy's Taco Shop! It's the second time I've there. I ordered breakfast there the other day and tonight I ordered dinner. I ordered a ground beef crunchy taco and a chicken fajita quesadilla. My sides were refried beans with cheese and cilantro lime rice. It was so much food and as delicious as it was, I couldn't eat it all. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself and go to Fuzzy's Taco Shop! read more

Fuzzy's is a good place to eat with either 2 People or 10 People. Large indoor seating area and pretty decent out door patio area. They offer alcohol drinks!!! There are TV screens through out as well as outdoor. I would give them a 5 star but the bathroom isn't that clean. Food was delicious and came out fast! There is a sign directly up and to the right of the door when you walk in it says, "Welcome to your new addiction" and damn it they couldn't be more right. I know it's a franchise but in south Dallas i've had trouble finding any type of restaurant that used good quality ingredients. Theres a lot to love at Fuzzy's so I'll break it down into three parts. First: the prices. They're great, you can get well fed for under ten bucks, and that's always cool. Matter of fact this should do well for any type of person looking to find portions that are as much or as little as you could want. You can buy food by the taco or by the plate. Seccond: variety. They have many, many varieties of tacos, burritos and salads. The food has many delicious things you can change about it too. Such as types of meat, type of tortilla or cheese. They also have a good selection of libations, sodas, teas, and beers. They even have Angry Orchard hard cider on tap, how cool is that?! Third: Quality. It's good fresh ingredients that make the food as good as it is. None of the meat or veggies taste frozen or stale. They do something a little cool with their tacos i've never seen before, they use fetta cheese. You can ask for different cheese, but fetta is something new for me, and it works. The feel of the place is kinda boring, lots of corrugated steel with stickers all over them. If you like sports then you will like this place even better because they have tons of TVs all over the place so whatever game you like it'll be on. If there's a Fuzzy's near you, then you should go and feed your addiction, the worst you can get is taco breath. read more

I think about a third of the fancy drinking cups in my family's home is Fuzzy's Taco Shop cups. We are definitely fans. You can't go wrong, especially with a crowd. Great food, a blend of seafood and Mexican street food with a modern bar food flair. Their queso is addicting. My usual is their street tacos. I get tempura shrimp, craw-fish, and a tempura fish taco almost every time. The wife loves the enchiladas. They have huge stuffed burritos as well. This is not an authentic Mexican food place. This is a fun, friendly, cheap, and good quality place to grub on something different. read more

After three years I finally decided to try this place. I am very impressed with quality of food and how good it was, I had the shrimp enchiladas with potatoes and their black beans, My wife had fish tacos and black beens. As an appetizer we had the chips and guacamole so fresh so good. Great service here! The nachos are my favorite! The queso is delicious and whatever yall sprinkle on the chips, it's good. I could drink the garlic sauce just saying. Fresh ingredients. The burrito is huge, filled with amazing rice, beans, meat, the works! It gets busy here but trust me it's worth the wait. The only thing so far I wasnt a fan of was the quesadilla, a lil greasy. When yall allow the kids to come in for the fundraisers they come to your table like 10 times, not exaggerating. We already donated and 10 different kids coming up asking for donations and trying to take my food 5 times more to throw away and I'm not even done eating.
