I have to say this was the worst Steak Out order I have ever eaten and I am so upset after paying $50 for 2 dinners and should have gone to Longhorn, spent a little more, and been full afterwards instead of having to throw most of my dinner away due to being inedible. The steak was cold, hard and over cooked. The rolls were cold, hard and could have been used as a hockey puck. The salads were wilted and potato was small and over cooked. We stopped by Steak Out to pick up some steak tips for my mother-in-law. Walking inside the restaurant is clean with a 98 health rating. I placed an order for steak tips, baked potato, salad and a drink. The young lady that took my order said it would be 10 minutes. The food was ready in 9 minutes. Mother-in-law said her steak tips were delicious as was her crisp salad and perfectly baked potato. I saw a write up about steak in Huntsville and the Whitesburg Drive store was given kudos. Dear Steak-Out staff...thank you. Am in on Army business and I was excited to pop in and grab some yummy American food. It was not only fast, hot, delicious, etc., the salad was way more crispy than grocery bagged salad you can get at the store. I was born in NY, so I had to get the cheesecake but I'm stuffed to the gills right now after skarfing down the whole meal! The Steak-Out franchise got its start here in Huntsville, and it's one of our favorite places to get takeout, especially steak tips; they can actually cook them medium rare and do it reliably. If steak is not what you're craving, try the grilled chicken breast with bacon and smothered with cheese. Dinners come with a salad with your choice of dressing, a baked potato with a variety of toppings, and a roll. I often substitute grilled mushrooms for my potato, and they never balk at the request. If you pick up your order, each meal receives a free drink; I recommend the iced tea because you get a large cup. Once again Steak Out did not disappoint. I ordered the grilled chicken fillet dinner . The chicken was grilled to perfection,not dry. My potato was hot the salad was crisp and fresh. I ordered medium well and it was hard and well done, like it was left over from lunch and just thrown on the grill to heat it up! We have eaten at other locations of Steak Out and love the delivery and prices and food. When we stayed in Huntsville recently we opted to have delivery at our hotel. There was a mix up with the front desk of our hotel and we waited for an hour and a half for our food. I had given both the hotel number, our room number and my cel phone number. No one called my cel phone and our food was not delivered on time when the front desk couldn't contact our room. The food was still good, but the overall experience was lacking due to the very long waiting time. I would recommend this to others, and we will eat at Steak Out again. read more

This Steak-Out needs to have all of it's employee's train at the Steak-Out closer to Governor's Dr. Some of the call-takers are rude, know-it-alls, and the chicken I order has been dry all 3 times I've ordered it from this location. I LOVE the upper Whitesburg Steak-Out and I order from them for lunch all the time, I never have problems ordering multiple orders from them, and my food is always hot and served sufficiently sauced. We order from this location approximately once a month. Typically we get the porkchop dinner with loaded potato and cheesecake. Typically the pork chops are above average to good, juicy and hot when they arrive. The cheesecake is decent. The delivery time is usually about 45 minutes. read more
