5 of us went on Saturday around 4:00pm and there was already a crowd gathering! We were seated within the promised wait time. Our server was Abigail and she was flawless in her service. My family all had custom orders and all our food was just how we ordered it. No mistakes. No send backs. Flo's filets were tops and cooked exactly right for me and grandma. Although grandma said it wasn't as spicy as normal (???) I think she meant it needed a bit more peppercorn. My mom liked her burger. The parmesan crusted chicken looked good. Salads were fresh and nice portions with actual vegetables! Unlike Steak-out "salad". Pleasantly surprised. Food was ok, server was very friendly though could have used a little more attention with drinks, the restaurant was clean and it still feels a little cramped after all these years. My steak, porterhouse, was cooked decent but a little too much char on the bottom was almost inedible. It didn't feel like a 22 ounce or whatever it was. I wouldn't order it again for the cost. I'd get the bone in ribeye at that point. If you get the most expensive steak they should balance it out with a strong potato with plenty of toppings, at least butter and sour cream. Haven't had Longhorn in a long time. Decided to have it for an early dinner. I love their Parmesan Crusted Chicken with a sweet potato and house salad with ranch (they have the best ranch). Food took over 40 mins to get out to us, and we didn't even get bread 15 minutes after we ordered. Food was cold and made me nauseous, also steak was undercooked and broccoli was still hard. Amazing..... so on Sunday (1/11/24) I had brunch here with some of my friends. I had the Chocolate Avalanche ( Simply Amazing ). That 7 type of cake would make you do "Something ". I'm just saying. kitchen was slammed, I kept getting the run l-around about my food! the only thing that was good was the strawberry margarita. Bartender was very hostile when I asked her could I get my food to-go. Manager came out and acted like everything was fine & she was going to handle it then stated the food was gonna be free! 10 minutes later, she brought out a ticket for me to pay and a $25 gift card. This is my first time ordering out there. I ordered a filet medium with lobster tail and crispy Brussel sprouts. My steak was more on the rare side, the lobster tail was moderately over cooked and the sprouts were not right as well. One of our usual meals is just the Wild West shrimp appetizer, without peppers, and extra ranch (the only ranch that I eat). The last time here, a couple of months ago, my first order of them was so salty that even I wouldn't eat it, and I'm a saltaholic. The manager had it remade, and the replacement order was so spicy that I couldn't eat it. At this point, we were out of time and couldn't wait for another order, and we had to leave with his apologies. Last night, we each ordered them, and both orders were like they were cooked in different batches. About half were fresh and wonderful like we expected them to be, but the other half were darker, greasy, hard, and overcooked. Service was a little slow. They were fairly busy but must have had a dozen servers working. We saw several of them many, many times, coming out of the kitchen, whose exit was right behind our booth. We barely saw ours. He was okay, though he should have checked in on us firing the meal. He never stopped by to ask how everything was, never refilled our drinks, we had to flash him down to ask for more bread, napkins, etc. He finally did bring us refills in the form of go cups with our to go boxes. To any future server that waits on us, I have a word of advice. I am the one that figures the tip. I tip quite well for good service, but I also have a huge pet peeve. If I'm paying cash, please don't ask me if I want or if I need my change. My answer will always be yes, even if I was going to tell you to go ahead and keep it. Scamming to get you there when you sign up for the online waiting list it says 15-20 minutes and they'll hold your place for 10 min after. So then 20 min later you show up and they tell you another 15-20 minutes but it takes 30 more minutes to get a seat. Save the frustration of paying to have your time wasted and go to Texas road house down the street. read more

Ordered the Salmon and a 9oz filet, I ordered the filet butterflied and cooked medium, it was a little more than rare initially, I sent it back and it came back medium rare, so I sent it back again, the third time it came back medium. The waitress and manager were super apologetic and understanding . I could not have asked for better treatment, I hope the learning experience was not wasted on the cook. We were blown away by how bad the service was in this place. The waitress complained about her other table, and gave us their appetizer that she screwed up on the order. She didn't get our orders right, she did not apologize, and at the end of the night it was impossible to get her attention when we wanted to leave. She either didn't want to flag down the manager, or couldn't, either way we could not complain. We went on a Sunday and were surrounded by large parties, about 5 tables seating 6 or more. There were about 4 or 5 waiters on staff. Just because they have the physical room for all these guests does not mean they should fill up. LongHorn is one of my favorite places to go to eat a steak. I dined-in and ordered the 8 oz. New York Strip with loaded mashed potatoes and broccoli. Delicious is an understatement for this meal. I always order my steak medium well, so I only want to see a small amount of pink, other restaurants sometimes undercook the steak and I would have to send it back. But LongHorn cooks it to my perfection every time. Mashed potatoes are my favorite food, like I can survive off just potatoes, and they were good as well. Since they were loaded they were topped with cheese, bacon, chives, butter and sour cream. The broccoli was not too hard or too soft, I tend to squeeze lemon juice on top of my broccoli because I like the flavor, I also seasoned it with butter and pepper. The employees were following all COVID guidelines from my perspective. Everyone wore mask, gloves and hairnets. Sustainability wise, I always order plastic silver wear at restaurants, pandemic or not. Only a certain amount of people were allowed inside and some tables were blocked off to follow social distancing. It was a quiet setting. So my husband and I arrived tonight st 9:03pm. We commented that it was pretty slow for a Saturday before we even entered but tonight was his bday and it's what he wanted. So we visited Longhorn a few weeks ago. I tried going through more "private" channels to discuss the horrible experience but we received no response. It took over 30 minutes to be seated (family of 4)- we could see empty tables. I assumed they were closing sections but when a larger party came in they out right asked and we're told it was open. When we finally got seated we didn't see our waitress for over 20 minutes. We asked to go ahead and place all our orders. All food our food came out cold, when we got up to ask for some ketchup for my daughter's french fries we watched the staff run. The waitress we asked rolled her eyes. (not our regular waitress, we hadn't seen her since she checked on us before our food arrived) When we spoke with a Manger she gave us a "sorry, I'll look into it. When we received our bill (in FULL) there was a coupon for a free appetizer with purchase of a entree. We waited to speak with her, the manager again but she disappeared. After all that you really think I want to buy more food! I spoken to some other friends and this seems to be the normal at Longhorn now.
