Booked an appointment then when the tech got here he said it would be like 80$ total to clean my living room carpet and dining room rug and said they have a 125$ minimum I agreed to that. Next thing you know he goes outside and comes back in 5min later now the total is 188$ yea I politely told him heck no and called someone else and the job literally only costed me 89$ and was done right. These people are scammers now it makes sense why the tech was knocking on my door talking about they had a couple of cancellations and was wondering was I available and I told them no and still made them wait to come at the scheduled time. Booked for deep clean of ceramic/porcelain tile/grout...approx 1100 sq feet. We knew from initial convo with technician who came to the house that given how long it had been since we got the tile installed, and since it was never sealed previously, the grout may not get clean as new everywhere. Ok, that's fine. So we booked and they came out a few days later. It was two different technicians. I guess this happens sometimes, fine. I get that every job is different but as we went around going through what needed to be done, and discrepancies came up here and there as to what we expected per the first technician's appointment and what these technicians planned to do, they kept going on about how it's hard when someone else came and did the initial appointment. Ok, sure but also, really? It sort of felt like they were preemptively trying to explain away any subpar results but again, I guess it is challenging when they didn't get a chance to come initially so I brushed it off. So they get going and simultaneously used a large brush to scrub and their machine to steam and the whole thing took about 4 hours. Including sealing the grout. The initial technician had said that 4 hours was on the low end/minimum of what we should expect for the job to take yet these guys said it would be 3-4 hours. Another discrepancy. My husband was periodically downstairs just checking out what was going on. He said they took maybe 10, 15 mins to seal at the end, which seems off. I wondered if they sealed as they went along and we missed some of it but apparently they did not. It was just at the end and seemed very quick for the space. When the they were done the floors were clearly cleaner, and a lot of the grout was in better condition but much of it wasn't. I figured, as we had discussed with the initial technician, that these were just areas that were stained; however, after they left my husband took a cotton swab to a couple areas near the front where there was a lot of darker grout still and the swabs literally came up black. So , now we have to look all around this space and wonder...what's clean, what is just stained. Also was this even properly sealed? We have sealing in one of the showers and this does not look at all like it was sealed, at least not fully properly. Should also mention, when we booked they confirmed the technicians came prepared to do the work that day. Well, the first technician who came almost instantly advised he wouldn't be able to do the work that day. This actually worked better for us as we had planned to book out, but what if we had planned differently? So they were misleading about this...they do not necessarily come prepared to work that day. So ultimately the floors are cleaner and much of the grout in better condition but we could have gotten these results it seems for a fraction of the cost as it's not clear that they fully/thoroughly cleaned the grout at least and we are questioning whether or not this is even sealed. Poor job. Had much better expectations from initial consult and technician who came out. Sort of feels like bait and switch. Would absolutely not recommend for tile cleaning. read more

Called to have one room of carpet cleaned and treated for pet stains. Lauren was able to get me scheduled the same day and Javier & Joseph arrived within an hour. They gave me a fair estimate for what I needed to have done and even gave me a free sanitizer spray of the cleaned carpet. Great job of cleaning the carpet and cleaning up on the way out. read more

Needed to get AC ducts cleaned out post construction in house. We also have a high shedding dog and lots of dander in the air. Saw Steam Master in Yelp and great reviews. Representative was on time for appointment and prompt will service. Very good customer service as well. He cleaned 13 ducts and the vents with disinfectant and brush system. Took all of 2 hours to complete job where as I have others take 3-4 hours with less quality outcomes. The air was fresher and the dust collection was much less post the clean. Guy goes in and starts measuring my rooms and this is after several years of using them. I told him I just wanted three rooms cleaned and started saying well this is larger than three rooms but I will honor 3 rooms. Then he starts to tell me that each stain to remove is $50.00 and pet deordorizer would be X and on an on. At that point I was heated and told him to get the hell out. Good luck because I called manager and he didn't come to phone after a 10 minute wait. So I hung up!!!! read more

They're expensive, but they delivered. Years ago, we adopted a wobbly cat who hadn't been give an chance to litter train properly: when she felt stressed or threatened, she urinated anywhere. Our closet was her "favorite" place, though she also serviced our master bedroom and family room. My wife and I had tried to steam clean our carpets many times, with many highly recommended carpet cleaning solutions to no effect. We even tried to "soak" the carpet with hot solution before picking it up; that was a big mistake, as it allowed the urine-loaded solution to sink into the pad. We then tried another company, as the last time we thought these guys were super expensive. Didn't work. We had just about decided to replace the carpet in the closet, and do our own work in the master bedroom and family room. But with family coming, we ran out of time and decided to call them again. I say again, they're expensive, and I was a little put off with what I felt was sometimes a sell job, offering to do other treatments separately priced. We selected treatments we thought would be effective but not necessarily "fluff", and agreed to let them do it. I was impressed with the time they took to identify heavy urine concentrations. No other carpet cleaner had done that previously. I was impressed with the pre-treatment, then the thorough soaking of my carpets. I was impressed how they compressed the wet carpet, ensuring the cleaning solution soaked through to the pad. I was impressed how thoroughly they vacuumed the solution at the end (though I was disappointed when they offered to do a deeper water extraction for an additional fee; I think that should be part of the package, not an extra). I waited three weeks before writing this review to ensure their work wasn't "skin deep". Now I can say confidently they fixed my problem. The carpets look great, with no urine smell. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY I Booked a rug cleaning appt. as the rug was drying there appeared to be many blue ink spots. i called the company and service guy came back out, and owned his mistake said he shouldnt of rinsed it. Scott said if he didnt do XY & Z that the blue spots wouldnt of appeared. He took the rug to the company warehouse where they had it for 3+ weeks and it came back with the same results. Same service guy Scott delivered it and appologized for his mistake and said the company would make it right. ( scott was great, company is awful) After i sent them the reciept for $5000. they were not trying to help, manager "will" called and said they cleaned it to company standards and we should of had it warehouse cleaned originally. ( why didnt they suggest it) Will said they would not replace it, the rug is 6-8 months old. i asked will to escalate this to his boss since he couldn't come up with a resolution. He stated that he was highest on the ''pole" which is VERY DEROGOTORY and HIGHLY OFFENSIVE and RASIST. I suggested they use their insurance and ''Will'' proceeded to project what his insurance appraiser would come up with, i said send the adjuster out then. I contacted this company because they advertise they can deal with pet odor. I paid for the enzymes as well as the cleaning. My room smells worse than it did before the cleaning. Way over priced for what you get. The person who came was very polite and explained things well. He did great. I just don't believe I received my money's worth on this job. read more

The company was very polite and very prompt! My dog threw up on my rug (I just needed a spot clean) and I needed my couch professionally cleaned because it can only handle certain products to be cleaned with. The technician told me that the spot on my rug was very dark so he would do the best that he could without ruining the rug. I understood and was happy with the job he did. I was very happy with the way he cleaned my coach as well, however the upholstery on my couch is completely ruined. The fabric has changed with whatever products were used on the couch. It is no longer soft and it does not have the soft/smooth like satin like sheen that it did before it was cleaned. The fabric feels very rough to the touch and I'm very disappointed. I needed my wood floors deep cleaned and decided to go with this company because they had a coupon in the local Val-Pac. I live in Austin and did not realize this was a San Antonio company. Not a big deal really except the service crew were late, super late, so late I almost had to send them away. I live in a high rise and we have restrictions on how late vendors can come in and make noise. Thankfully this day they weren't too strict about rules. The window they gave me for service was between 12 and 2. When I hadn't heard a word by 1 I phoned to find out they were running late. A lot of phone calls later they finally showed at 6PM! I called a few local companies that same day trying to find someone to clean my floors because I had no faith in this company at this point. Unfortunately it's hard to find anyone who has ability to deep clean floors in a high rise. So they arrived, answered my questions and did a good job on the floors, cleaned both my wood and tile floor in bathroom and sealed my grout. They moved my furniture to do a thorough job on the wood floor. The price with coupon was reasonable, but the hassle of actually getting them to show up was stressful. Very poor communication from the dispatch office and the woman on phone couldn't answer some basic questions for me. She even suggested during one call that if I declined to have them clean after they arrive and give me a quote I'd have to pay a service charge. What?!?! Thankfully she checked with the management and confirmed it'd be a free consultation. A lot of back and forth which was disappointing, but Adam and his partner did a good job on the floors.
