Rib Tip Meal Rib Tips & Fries
    Michael G.

First time in went with the Rib tip w/fries. Customer service at front was fine and the food came out without any delay. Flavor was there, Good smoke, tips definitely had some good size bones so didn't have that chew thru tip grizzle's I'm personally looking for. But again the meat itself was Good. On top of a nice bed of fries. I look forward to returning and trying some more of the menu. Interior just fine and it's building that great aged smoked scent a good bbq house we all love. I wish these guys success.

After all these years, their rib tips are still superior. The pound of rib tips and fries is enough for 2 people. It's a lot of food! The rib tips literally fall apart. I like tendons and these tendons are so tender and soft. The sauce is good too. There's a lot of fries and they don't get that soggy either. We got 1/2 lb of brisket too. It was a little dry, but it still pretty soft. The sauce we got was the firebox and it's sooo good! It's spicy too! But very well flavored. We got the corn and Cole slaw. The corn is pretty good. The Cole slaw is okay.

What an accidental surprise our Saturday turned into that led us to eating a Steamboat BBQ. My husband, myself and my best friend were trying to eat at another restaurant. When we got there it was a 45 minute wait and decided against waiting that long. My husband and best friend were craving red meat, so I suggested to potentially find a bbq place. They liked that idea. So pulled up Yelp, typed in bbq and we found steamboat. Without reading the reviews - we went which I'm glad! A lot of people are saying that you can't eat in the restaurant, but you can. There's just limited seating - very small area. Bar style seating. My friend got the 3 meat plate - brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. He loved everything. All the meat was so tender, and the ribs fell off the bone. He also got the brisket chili which he said was just ok. He loved the sides of beans and potato salad. My husband got the 3 meat plat as well - pulled pork, brisket, rib tips, potato salad and coleslaw. He also loved his meal and said how excited he was that we have such a great bbq restaurant so close to us! I had the 2 meat plate - pulled pork, brisket, southwest corn, and potato salad. DELICIOUS! Their bbq sauce is incredible! The meat was so tender, the southwest salad had a nice kick of heat to it, the potato salad is just so dang good. The bacon they had on special was also perfect. The sweet and savory combo was so satisfying. Their cornbread? YUM!!!!!!!! One of the best I've had! That's made with love :) The fried pickles - I wish they would make the seasoning less salty. The Cajun spices are SO GOOD!!!! But man after a handful you're getting the salt sweats. They have perfected the fried pickle by having the pickle thin enough with the batter that you can bite into it and the batter won't come off with your bite. Perfectly fried, perfect pickle choice, but i hope they consider changing up their spice mix to have less salt. That's the only reason I wouldn't order those consistently. Overall, we loved this place. We're so happy to have such a high quality bbq place so close to us!! Until next time!

I have been coming here for about six years now and it never disappoints. If you are looking for some mouthwatering BBQ - Steamboat BBQ is the place to go! The food here just melts in your mouth when you eat it - my personal favorite is go with the brisket and burnt ends - you cannot go wrong. The staff is always friendly and the restaurant smells heavenly with the scent of fresh BBQ. I also like that they give the option of purchasing larger portions of their barbeque sauces. My personal favorites are the butler's tribute and apple bourbon. The menu is a wide variety so there is defiantly a place where there is something for everyone.

Best BLT I have ever had . Very friendly and efficient staff . Generous portions . Fountain Drinks or cooler beverages drinks available. Order at the counter and when it's not busy they bring your order to the table . Also they clear the table when you are finished. So it's like fast food that goes the extra mile . Plus it's an outstanding BBQ that is cooked fresh .

Steamboat came highly recommended! I have a go to bbq place but I cheated to check this one out. I called to check to see if we needed reservations and was unimpressed with the tone that we received on the phone. I felt like a burden for calling. Not great. Upon arrival I understood the impatience with my questions. It was a no frills store front where reservation wouldn't be necessary. Nevertheless the attitude wasn't appreciated. The staff were attentive (mostly kids/college aged) and happy to help. The food: in a word amazing. Made up completely for any negative aspect of call. The Brisket was tender and tasty, the sides were on point! The ribs while small were great! The fried pickle basket was seasoned perfectly and came in a huge basket! I would highly recommend Steamboat! The food is upper level!

I thought both flavors were pretty good - Honey Thai Chili and Soy Garlic. There was extra sauce in the recess of the container for each flavor that I used a spoon to pour over the chicken which was necessary, especially for the Soy Garlic since the pieces were on the dry side otherwise. I didn't care much for the fried rice because there was too much sesame oil. The eggrolls were good and the included dipping sauce container was huge! The parmesan garlic fried corn was good too. Overall would try again but would avoid the rice plates and get the chicken by itself. Visit date: 3/13/26

Inside is bright, spacious, and very clean. The owners are so nice. They genuinely wanted to know what we thought of each dish. They are happy to explain menu items and make recommendations if you ask. Taking a quick glance at their menu, I can see they have some good lunch specials. Burgers & wraps look like a decent deal, 2.99 more for a meal is not bad considering the food is not chain fast food. They have a nice spread of clay oven beef, lamb, prawns, salmon, and chicken. Nice appetizers, a few veg options, biryani, and entrees (I hate saying the word curries, wack). We went with some grilled platters. Everything on the platter was cooked to perfection, each item distinctly seasoned. Tandoori chicken was soft, which means marinated very well. The korma tasted like home..that is the biggest compliment you can get, and will likely be my go-to when hangriness short circuits my decision making capability. Nihari was perfect. Their butter chicken was good, not the sweet kind thankfully. The biryani was also great. Perfect, aromatic rice, meat was off the bone and well seasoned. Tandoori roti and tandoori naan were soft, not burnt, with that lovely clay oven aroma. The off menu special was dal gosht (meat and lentil), which I really liked. It was pleasantly mild and obviously slow cooked for a while, giving a nice comfort food vibe. Since the Tip section is no longer available on Yelp, a few FYI's. For entrees, it may take some time to prepare because everything is made to order, so break out candy crush or prepare some talking points to share with Ralph..if you decide to dine with Ralph. Their mango lassi is good, but because they use real mango vs pulp, it could be a little tart, based on the mango and the yogurt used. Always pre order charga (we did) because that is a specialty that takes time to prepare and marinate, whole deep fried chicken. BbqLand is a winner in my book. Give it a try. Who the h is Ralph.

We stopped in for dinner and several things went awry as soon as our food started to arrive. When my side salad arrived it came with Ranch dressing. Well, it was supposed to, but what came didn't look like Ranch, smell like Ranch, or taste like Ranch. I asked the food delivery guy for more, thinking he may have grabbed something else on accident, and he brought more of same. Bummer. Ate my salad sans dressing. Then the Kids pasta arrived, along with a side of carrots. And we waited. And waited. Then the Philly Egg Rolls arrived and the Baked Potato. And I waited. And waited. Finally my "meat loaf" arrived. Only it didn't look like meat loaf. I waited some more for the waitress to return only she never did. I had to get up and walk over to the bar, where she seemed to be busy inventorying liquor bottles, to ask her to look at the food to confirm it was the meat loaf. She immediately confirmed, then paused, then said "Um... no... that... let me check." and took my plate away. Some minutes later I finally received the meat loaf I ordered (which was tasty!, just that everyone else was done eating my this time). While I'm not sure what caused the Ranch to turn, the food to take so long and be delivered piece-meal (when it was NOT crowded AT ALL), and the confusion around the meat loaf (which was one of their "most ordered" items, so we were told when asking about some favorite dishes), I can say that our waitress was very friendly the entire time and apologized for the mess up. Given all of this, and the fact that I think the prices are inflated given the portion sizes, I don't know that we'll be back again.
