My advice is go to a Braums and get way more ice cream for way less.

Steamy Joe Cafe is proof that breakfast tastes better with a view and a rocking chair. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The short wait was basically a mini vacation--spent rocking away on the cutest little white porch chairs, pretending we were in a Hallmark movie while trying not to drool over the delicious smells coming from inside. Once seated, the staff was absolutely wonderful--helpful, attentive, and so genuinely kind that we briefly considered asking if they'd like to join our family. And the food? Let's just say if breakfast had an awards show, Steamy Joe would be giving an acceptance speech. The eggs Benedict were chef's kiss perfection, the French toast was dangerously delicious, Big Joe's breakfast with biscuits and gravy could solve most of life's problems, the BLT was stacked like it had something to prove, and the summer berry salad made us feel healthy enough to justify ordering everything else. We stopped by on our way out of Branson at the end of our vacation because we had heard some good things about it online. It went above and beyond all of our expectations. The service was absolutely wonderful. They got our names down and had our table ready in half the time that was expected and the entire staff was checking on us making sure everything was good the whole time. The view from the windows at the back looking over the mountains is beautiful and the whole view is very homey. And the food was some of the best we've had in any trip. Everything came out quickly and exactly as we ordered it. The biscuits and gravy were definitely the highlight of the breakfast, and it was arguably the best gravy we've ever had at a restaurant. I had the yummiest pumpkin spice iced latte--seriously, fall in a cup--and the breakfast burrito was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to start the day! Our servers, Mandy and Annie, were both AMAZING--so sweet, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely made our experience even better. And a huge shoutout to the owner, Stacy, who is simply phenomenal! We had a party of 6 and we're able to get seated right away. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. Portion sizes were large. My husband was defeated by this meal. He was disappointed with one thing though...when we got to the front of the line to order they announced that that had just run out of cinnamon roll French toast. No worries though, we will be back and hopefully we can try it next time. The iced mocha and hot chocolate were made with Ghirardelli chocolate. To top it all off is the incredible view. This place was recommended to us by a waitress at Mr.G's Pizza and she was right. Steamy Joe's is super cute, overlooking a scenic view. Service was fast for table service. You pay when you place your order so you don't have to wait when you are done eating. We had a cinnamon roll, Ozark Mountain Classic (eggs, sausage, hash browns, biscuits and sausage gravy) and Little Joe's (egg, bacon, and sourdough toast). Sherwood, AR. Our Sunday school ladies class stopped here while attending a conference in Branson. From the moment we walked in, the service was top notch, sat all 10 of us together, took our orders and food was out to us within 5 minutes as they were still taking our orders.
