They worked efficiently, even though I believe they may have been short handed that day. Again, the install was completed in a shorter time than promised and the work they did was so professional. After 6 visits post installation, each visit came with a series of unprofessional issues, we are left with permanent damage on our cement driveway where an amateur handyman, at best, used an incorrect tool to drill into the cement. Steel Advantage, after a no show to repair the hole, sent another person to fix the mess says it can't be fixed because of the angle the person drilled the hole. We are left with extreme frustration and have the need to leave it as is or figure out how to remedy on our own as the company offered nothing. In addition, we are SOOOO done with them. If they were to come out again it would be service call number 7 to complete what should have been a very simple project and what they taught, they are experts at. Never on time within the scheduled service window or just didn't show up. Never called to let you know if on the way, late, or need to reschedule! Do not want them back on our property ever! We are so happy that we found Brilon Iron works for our custom home build! We are building a big…read morehouse and wanted a "grand entrance", and we quickly decided we wanted big custom steel doors. We went with 10-foot tall double-doors for the main entrance and they look fantastic!!!! Lisa & Tyler were great to work with! We picked one of the standard designs but then had it customized to our liking. We loved the main entrance door so much that we had to order two more single doors for the master and our son's bath, that both lead to the patio and pool. For these 2 doors, Lisa came up with a unique design including a transom window above the doors to match the 10-foot height but with a smaller door that looked better suited to the space. The biggest thing we love about all 3 of these doors, is the operational glass and steel mesh bug screens! We love fresh air when the weather is nice! On our current house, we have the cheesy security doors in addition to our normal doors so we can leave the front door open without having anyone walk in any time they want. Brilon Iron Doors have glass that can be opened without unlocking the door. It will be so great to have the fresh air while still maintaining security. And the steel screens will keep out the mosquitos and other bugs. This is great since we have recently realized that Palo Verge Beetles are apparently common in our new neighbor hood. These screens will have no problem keeping out those 7" long flying critters! ;-) Finally, the installation team was amazing! We are doing some of our own work to give us the "pride of building" our new home. We will be installing all of our own interior doors and the other exterior doors, so I told Lisa we wanted to install the steel doors ourselves. I am so grateful that she suggested that installing steel doors is not the same as installing other types of doors and encouraged us to have professional installation. So, took her advice and we are so happy! They did great work and they had a team of guys to do the heavy lifting and installing. Such a great choice! If you want to make a statement by having iron doors on your house, I highly recommend Brilon Iron Works!!!
