A beautiful location at the marina on the lake but everything else needs a little improvement. I wanted to get a beer but they didn't have any beer because....ready for this....their beer distributor is in jail!!! We ordered other drinks which came in a reasonable amount of time but then our waiter never returned to take our order. We had to chase him down and then he went to a different table to take their order before ours. Most of us ordered the grilled blackened cod fish tacos and my husband also ordered an order of chips and salsa. The chips and salsa came quickly but the chips had didn't have any salt on them, not very good. It took forever for our fish tacos to show up....we had to get the waiter to check on our and finally they came but they were not hot and very bland. These were supposed to be blackened tacos. No seasoning. And by the way they can't do separate checks. The service was poor, the food was poor but the setting is nice. read more

All about location! The location is perfect and the music is great! Other than that, I would keep looking if you are in the search for good food. This is more like snack bar at food at restaurant rates. I paid $20 for a burger and bag of chips. If it was a good burger, I'd be good with that, but it was on par with a very basic fast food burger, so could have paid about $5 for something similar or better. That said.... I think I was more paying for the music and beautiful views, being on the water. If you are looking to hang out in a chill place, and are not that concerned with food quality then I highly recommend the spot. Otherwise, like I said earlier, Id keep on looking :-) read more

This may be the only water-front restaurant on the Dillon side of the reservoir. Paid parking lot only. I ordered a reposado marg and am questioning whether there was any liquor in the 8 oz plastic cup. Service was nonexistent and the place was a dive. The table scenery was 4 large trash bins and hoses/trash all over the ground. We decided not to order food when we watched the server clear tables, walk to the trash can, open the lid and dump all the table trash. Then she walked to the kitchen and picked up plastic baskets full of food to deliver to the next customer. Yuck. IMHO, not sure these mountain towns have a Health Department. Great tacos, tasty margs, and a stellar location! My husband and I headed to Lake Dillon for a day of paddle boarding (which did not disappoint), and after some time on the water we decided on an early happy hour. The Tiki Bar is a cute spot right overlooking the lake and mountainous views. It has a cool vibe, being made up of a few docks lined around the area. Plenty of patio seating and very laid back feel. Oh yeah, totally puppy friendly too. Our server, Charlotte, was great. She was masked and kept a friendly social distance. We were seated fairly far from other tables and given paper menus for single use as well. Plus, there's specified entry and exit ways to keep human traffic movin' safely. There aren't a whole lot of items on the menu, as it seems they limited it for now. I thoroughly enjoyed the Tiki Rita (aka margarita on the rocks), and my husband was happy with the Pug's Pilsner. Five stars for the Tiki Tacos as well, dang those were delish. The blackened cod was perfectly seasoned and there's no better topping combo than pico + avocado. Jonno really wasn't a fan of his chicken tenders, so I was kind enough to share a taco! I wouldn't hesitate to return. Hopefully see you again soon, Tiki! read more

Awesome place for some sunshine and super drinks if you're soaking up the Dillon lake side! Stopped here after hiking around the reservoir and it was the perfect way to end the ride. They've got tons of fun drinks on the menu so probably something for everyone. When we visited there was some live music but there are multiple places to sit so you can either hang out close for the music or find your own space if you want to just chill. Both shaded and sunshine options for sitting. read more

Could be a lot better. The drinks were very meh & overpriced. It is not a "tiki" bar, they don't have tiki cups or anything riki really. Hot dogs were good which was redeeming. Great view of dillon reservoir was nice as well. Go for the views and the vibes but keep beverage expectations realistic. read more

This place is a scam. Yes the lake views are cool but the food prices are absolutely ridiculous. Service is slow, food is fast food quality to half decent. Also really odd rules that hurt the customer. No substitutions, no split check, and to add anything costs an insane amount. $1.50 for cheese, $9 to add meat to a salad. The place was still busy which is sad because it allows the business to get away with these anti-customer tactics and takes advantage of the rich boaters who will pay anyways. We cycled from Frisco marina to Dillon marina and stopped at the Tiki Bar for lunch and drinks. The atmosphere is great and the location on the water is perfect. The place was busy and the service was a little slow, but we had a great time just watching the boats and sipping on a few different cocktails before we rode back. Would highly recommend a stop here if you are in the area. read more

The service was great and very attentive. Dog friendly patio. The food and drinks, meh. We had: The rum runner (slushy drink with a rum floater), Kokomo, and a Pilsner. Chicken fingers. Rum runner - caveat, I'm not a fan of out of the slushy machine drinks to begin with. It was ok? Not anything to write home about, but drinkable. I ordered thinking it was going to be more like a rum punch. Kokomo - super sweet. Tasted like it needed another shot or two bc it was that thick purée syrup overtaking the drink. Could not drink it all. Pilsner - run of the mill Pilsner. Chicken fingers - 5 fingers and a bag of Lay's chips. You can pick BBQ or Ranch dip. The Tiki Bar is campy and fun. Great location on the water with a surpisingly good ceviche. The drinks were fun and colorful and perfect on a hot day. Karla was our server and when we asked about things to do on our last days, she suggested (then wrote down) several places to try and things to do. We landed at Saved by the Wine, the Vue, and then took her suggestions to drive Loveland Pass and hike at Arapahoe Basin. All her ideas were excellent! My suggestion? It was cute. It's not fancy, but it was fun sitting in a plastic chair under a covered tent and looking at the lake. They don't have much for food but that's ok too. It's about the experience here. Giving the Lake Dillon Tiki Bar an upgrade. The food and drinks are much improved since the last visit. It's like they listened to the people... or my expectations have gone down. But really, I think it's the former. On Sundays they open at 11:30 am sharp. No earlier, no later, right on time. This time I got a Lilikoi vodka drink with pineapple vodka and passionfruit puree -- actually, I got two of them since they were quite tasty. And I also got a grilled pineapple salad with tuna poke on top. Fresh, well-cooked and hit the spot! My husband and I also split the nachos and there was just enough cheese to chip ratio, the way I like nachos. Cute and fun food truck on Lake Dillon. Just what you need after a day of biking or paddle boarding. Patio seats two sections of guests. Look. They have like 5 things on the menu: hot dog, hamburger, brat, chicken tenders, and fish tacos! Go ahead and just get the fish tacos. They are surprisingly good. We ordered some piña colada's. If giving no stars was an option I would have clicked it... We experienced an abhorrent level of customer service and we were served an exceptionally sub-par quality of food. The only positive was the smile I got from the server knowing that their gratuity was included when they delivered the check. As servers, we would have been happy to tip well even if the food was wrong and the service was kind. We had neither the correct order, or kind service, when we simply asked for lettuce for our burger that was supposed to come, dare I say, with lettuce. I get that the slopes are closed, you have to have a summer job and you might hate working weekends, but kindness goes a long way in a customer service-centric role. Folks, before you go, just know, you're paying for the view and paying a good price. Get a drink at most, leave the rest for the birds. read more

Stopped by this little place on the pet while driving through Dillon. I had a rum runner and coco mojito and both drinks were great, the rum runner was pretty strong. Our service was good, they allowed us to have our dogs and the food was good. We had the chips with queso and guacamole, the chips were really good and they seemed house made. We have a boat at the Dillon Marina, so we decided to grab a quick lunch here on opening weekend. So I would give the Tiki bar 5 stars for service, friendly staff and the view, well, it takes your breath away. Drinks are good and reasonably priced as well. However, this is not a place where we would come for food again. I've been here before..... before the Covid menu, which is missing some of my favorites, the apps, the salads, and sandwiches. We were thinking chicken fingers, but the fryer didn't work, so a hot dog and a hamburger, each with a small bag of chips, setting us back more than 20 dollars. The hamburger was luke warm and dry. My husband said the hot dog was alright. So food I would give one star. Considering that the Tiki bar is owned by Pug Ryan's I expected a Pug Ryan's burger, which wasn't the case. So, I would suggest, if you would like to have drinks at a place with a stellar view, have a seat, if you would like a good meal, walk up the street to Pug Ryan's or some where else in town. I hope to see the Tiki Bar I am familiar with come back, as you could have both, but they are missing thee mark on the eats for sure. read more
