Not sure about others' experiences, but ours was great. We ordered 3 pizzas for pickup on Memorial Day Saturday. All three were wonderful. The crust on all 3 was perfect. The Mill Valley had a good amount of sausage and other toppings. The Pesto Deluxe tasted great with the artichoke hearts. The BBQ Chicken was notably good. It wasn't the goopy BBQ sauce-covered pizza others make. The chicken was cooked well without being dried out. The BBQ sauce was applied with a light touch. Perfect gem of a place! read more

Pizza is excellent. On a regular night, service is fast. Halloween night was an ordering disaster there. They probably should have updated their online ordering that night, to show true turnaround time for orders. Halloween night, trying to be understanding? Ordered and paid online for two extra large pizzas. Online stated my order would be ready at 5:26. Came in at 5:30, asked for my pizzas and was told it would be 20 more minutes. It is now 6:21 and I am still waiting. I even double check to make sure they had my order. Multiple food delivery services have been in and out without getting orders? One woman with four pizzas asked for her money back because not only did they get the order wrong but the pizza was cold. Right now I am watching an employee and one of the drivers going at it about an order not being ready. There doesn't seem to be any sort of concern on the staff's part? I'm now watching two young employees at the end of the counter giggling while folding boxes. I guess you get to a point where you realize you can't fix what's not fixable. It's almost dark out and my kids are no doubt trick or treating without having eaten and without me. We have been ordering Stefanos pizza for over a decade, and never had a problem...til today. Been cooking at home so much during the shelter-in-place, that I decided to order pizza for a change, and to support a local business. Ordered 2 XL pizzas, regular crust. I brought them home and it looked like it was thin crust. I called the store, spoke to Francisco, and explained the situation. He said that yes, this indeed was their regular crust, and if I don't like New York style then don't get their pizza. Not the point, since I have been ordering from them for years without problems. No apologies, just that this is how they always make their pizza. If their "regular crust" is less than 1cm, I wonder what their "thin crust" is like?! read more

Confirmed my order twice all meat extra cheese jalapeños on half a jalapeños and cheese only pizza called for them to fix it a guy the manager tried to make it my fault instead of saying let us get you one they said it's a different price it's more. I don't care about the money but not my mistake. I run a auto repair shop and got turned on to this place by the owner when I would give him a ride home he would give me a free pizza coupon and I've always ordered from them ever since. These guys do an okay job and they remind vaguely of s italy in origin don't expect any euro charm here, they're not Florentines. Instead it's more like they did their on-the-job training selling slices in the New york Port Authority bus terminal. Unfortunately they didn't stop off to hewn their pizza making skills at Rays before moving west. So relax, enjoy that the crust isn't like a thick southern bisquik biscuit. Sauce... ok just get the hot pepper flakes. A large will set you back about like maybe a third of a tank of gas. Bargain in Marin. I've unfortunately ordered pizza from this specific pizzeria several times now and have had serious issues. One time they delivered the wrong pizza, then refused to make/ deliver another one. The manager was extremely confrontational and after a long phone call finally sent me another pizza. after a while I tried this place again, the salad was old, the lettuce had pink along the inside, tomatoes were mushy, and the pizza was not eatable. after about 40 minutes, both my child and I became super sick. I called and the manager basically said it's not his problem and did not care. I will never eat here again nor would I recommend anybody else as food poisoning, and dealing with extremely rude staff is not worth the trouble. read more

I ordered a large (14 inch) Margherita Pizza for pick-up. It was ready in 20 minutes. When I arrived, the staff was wearing their protective masks and running a tight/safe ship. I was glad to see that they were really busy. It really speaks to the quality of their food. The Margherita Pizza was quite yummy. My only gripe: $27 is a pretty hefty price tag for a pizza with just cheese, tomatoes, and sauce. Yikes. For that kind of dough, I could get a more gourmet pizza down the street from Pico. But then again, for $27 I happily fed 4 people at my friend's house. So I guess I can't complain too much. I would definitely order from Stefano's again. Something has changed with this pizza. It was paper thin and crunchy since the crust was more like a cracker, much less cheese than usual and just not good. I know everyone is hurting from higher costs these days, but this just seems extreme to lower the quality of the product so dramatically. I notice other reviewers recently said the same thing. We even thought we had accidentally ordered a thin crust pizza, but nope. So time to find another pizza option. We don't order often but I can't justify this again. We have a big crowd coming for Christmas and will undoubtedly be ordering pizza one of the nights they are here. But not from Stefano's. read more

From some of the other reviews it looks like a trend developing here. I have been ordering pizzas here for years and the pizzas have been reliably good if not spectacular. Last night my experience was different. The pizza was supposed to arrive in 40 to 60 minutes. It took more than 90 minutes. Normally this would not have been a problem but it was obvious the pizza had been riding around for some time. It was so dried out and cold I through it out after the first bite. Chicken tenders are literally black on edges - and i asked for hot sauce and got 2 ranches. The calzone we ordered was incorrect and the pizza was super soggy. So I called and let them know. The man on the phone said he would send some out but they are very busy. I said, well we're trying to have a meal, don't you think you could get them out. He said they were busy and don't even need to send anything out for free. I asked if I could speak to a manager, who said it's not his fault if it was late...um, what? i re-explained that the food was burnt and the order delivered was incorrect and he said they were busy, i should take a refund.
