Since Dr Gallagher sold his practice I thought we will be having the same customer service but I was wrong. My daughter misplaced her retainer we came and got a new one with new doctor. We had to pay full price for one even though we had denture scan since they now do digital scan. We were explain that her scan were going to be on system in case she misplace again. We came back cause product they provide broke in a few months. They charge me again for full price to scan her since it's not on system. they told me it deletes after 7 days. We will be looking for another ortho office. read more

I would like to start off by saying that I am sure this is a great place to do business because I was referred over by Dr Daaboul family Dentistry next door where my 2 daughters get their dental work done awesome place. We had set up an appt today at 12pm and forgot I thought it was at 2pm I work in Richardson I am a single father, I realized at 12:06pm that it was 12:00 pm appt and called and spoke with a woman named Kelli who shows to be a Lab Technician according to the website and I explained the situation that we live in the neighborhood next door and my 19 year old daughter could bring my 14 year old daughter over until I arrive and she agreed I told her I can be there in 25 minutes so I took off. When my daughter's arrived the woman named Kelli told them that they would have to come back at 2pm apparently their lunch had just arrived, they had already taken my 14 year old daughter back and my 19 year old called and explained what she had told her. I called on my way I was halfway there and I spoke with her and explained that I had already left work she started screaming at me and my children and stated that my appt was 12pm not 2pm not only that she was yelling at my 19 year old to go down the hallway and get her sister and get out I explained I was the customer and she did not care my daughter's were beyond scared and left and went home. I called the Grapevine police dept and made a formal complaint against her I have never been spoken or treated that bad from a business in my life and I am 53. I cannot believe that any company would let an employee talk to a customer like that as well as screaming at 2 young girls 14 & 19 I hope someone can take something from this unfortunately from what I was told I know that Dr. J Theodorou is a wonderful Doctor it is very unfortunate to have a staff member working there and representing his company. By the way this is my first ever review I deemed it necessary considering my children. read more

This is my first time to leave a Yelp review for anything. We have been patients of Dr. Gallagher's for 4 years and are in the last year of braces with our oldest. We LOVED Dr. G but he has moved and sold his practice to a new orthodontist - Dr Theodorou. I would advise going elsewhere for ortho work. The new dr is competent but is not good about educating patient/family on treatment plan and progression and he makes getting in for emergency repairs almost impossible. He does not return calls and there is little to no help after hours which is difficult if you have a bracket come loose on a Saturday. Dr G always made himself available to help any time and I even had his cell number. I would NOT recommend this practice. read more

Dr. Gallagher has been taking care of my teeth for over 10 years now and I've never had a bad experience. I was a pretty rough case as I had a major open-bite which he was able to work with. I now have a closed-bite and most importantly my teeth have remained as straight as they were once I got my braces off. I was almost 50 before I decided to save my smile from deteriorating further, crowding more and alleviate the constant headaches that went along with my issues. Most Orthodontists I consulted with wanted to do Invisalign which sounded so appealing. But Dr. G explained and showed me that in order to fix my bite correctly I would need full braces! If you are an adult or looking for your child, do not go anywhere else. I promise you every good review about Dr. Gallagher and his team is true. His whole team does everything to make you feel as comfortable as possible. They all, and ESPECIALLY Dr. Gallagher truly cares about people, and it shows every single time you go in...and that includes the consultation. I am a super suspicious person of dentists, and I feel some are out there to just take your money. I went to some other consultations, and initially they seemed lower priced. However, Dr. Gallagher did not want to pull one of my teeth in order to make one of my teeth come down. It changes you smile when you do. The other orthodontists did, so the cost was not any different with adding on extra treatments. I wore something call distalizers for 5 months (I think it was supposed to be 6, but I finished early - wahoo!). Today I got them taken off and the braces put on. When he puts an appliance on you, he apologizes for every move because he cannot stand for his patients to be uncomfortable. He is also super organized because I got my distalizers off today, and he just so happened to have time to put the braces on today. He can direct his staff in a way that he gets it all done fast. Even though he gets it all done quickly, his work is amazing. You can already see a difference in my smile (which my friends noticed was happening, and his staff will notice, too, because everyone there cares). Anyway, I'm in my 30s, and I'm so glad I waited so long so that I could find Dr. Gallagher. Do not go anywhere else. I promise you will be writing a good review about him, too, and you will feel so proud to going to the best orthodontist out there. read more

I started my treatment with Dr Gallaghers office in February and went for my first adjustment today. I'm an adult-way past my teens so I was a bit nervous about braces and went here on my dentists recommendation. I can honestly say that from my very first step in the door that these people have been nothing but wonderful. They are kind, gentle and always there if you have questions or concerns. Gallagher Orthodontics is hands down the best orthodontic office in the DFW Metroplex. They are located at several office locations, Keller, Coppell, & Grapevine, on assigned days throughout the week for your convenience. The initial consultation and scheduling was a breeze! I am an adult that did not want the teenage "braceface" look so they offered the option of esthetically pleasing, clear ceramic brackets. Ceramic brackets are a few hundred more than metal brackets. Most people barely even noticed that I had braces. I had a considerable gap, impacted canines under baby teeth giving me a not so pleasant smile. My care plan consisted of closing my gap to make room for the adult canines, a frenectomy to ensure that my gap stayed closed, extraction of my baby teeth, and pulling my canines down into place. Fortunately, my canines were not in the roof of my mouth but instead in-line and ready to be pulled straight down, which is not typical. After my gap closed, I was referred to an oral surgeon for the frenectomy and extractions. Dr. Gallagher put pontics in place of my missing teeth so I did not walk around with 2 gaping holes in my smile. The pontics were removed as the canines became exposed. The canines were in place in as little as 6 months, which is also no typical. My projected timeline was 18-24 months. Dr. Gallagher executed everything in 15 months! I have 2 bonded retainers top and bottom as well as a custom night retainer. I had great result and a fantastic experience. The staff is lovely and truly cares about your progress. I went to Gallagher Orthodontics for about a year and a half at the Grapevine office. Every time I went in, I was always seen on time, if not early. The office stays busy so they are very respectful of everybody's time, which they do very well. At the end of my treatment Dr. Gallagher helped me out with a chipped tooth, (which is obviously not part of an Invisalign treatment)! Awesome experience at Gallagher Smiles!! My teenage daughter and I both chose the Invisalign treatment option and love our results! The clear aligners are very easy to wear and can barely be seen. She's 14 and I am 40 and we both finished about the same time. Dr. Gallagher did a great job of explaining the pros/cons of traditional braces vs. Invisalign and helping us make the right decision for our treatment. Staff is super friendly and really good at what they do. I would HIGHLY recommend this office for all of your family orthodontic needs. If I could give "0" stars I would. While Dr. Gallagher seems satisfactory enough - his staff, the office manager Dori in particular is absolutely horrid! Incorrectly filed medical claims, defensive when brought to their attention, an attempt to add "records fees" when metlife negotiated a lower treatment rate, rude...if there were any way to refund the fees I've paid in advance for my daughters ortho treatment - I would IMMEDIATELY leave and go to another office.
