They are crispy on the outside, gooey with cheese on the inside, and the meat is delectable! They have onion and cilantro on top for you to garnish, and there are likes that you can squeeze onto the tacos for even more flavor. The consommé is flavorful and has bits of onion and cilantro in it. The wings are also magical! I love getting the wings and fries extra crispy, and they never disappoint. My favorite wing sauces are the garlic parmesan and the sweet chili mango. The celery and carrots that come with the wings are always fresh and crispy. This is an excellent meal to take home, or you can eat inside the restaurant, too. I was so excited to try this place when I saw it on Yelp so I ordered ahead through Google Maps as I knew they were closing in about an hour. It took about 20 mins for my order of 6 wings, fries, carrots and celery. The whole time my car was smelling great when I drove back to my place and when I tried the wings I was sooo disappointed. The flavor was completely lacking. The medium hot wings (a step up from mild you'd think) had absolutely 0 spice .. they actually tasted like mayo with the smallest bit of hot sauce. The garlic Parmesan wings weren't really any better - I could barely see sauce on them and I mostly tasted the same mayo-like flavor. The fries were good - I was hoping to try their fry sauce and ranch (which I ordered) and I got neither of those. When picking up my order I asked to add an agua Fresca but they told me they were taking the machine out that night and it was no good. Despite the food not being what I expected, the lady who helped me was very nice and seemed to be sitting at a table with her family waiting for the shop to close. Friday night is guys night for me and one of my friends who lives in salt lake has been raving about this place telling us we need to come down south to visit it one Friday night. We showed up to the restaurant @8:45 and they close at 9 and denied our service. I asked them what time the restaurant says it closes and the girl told me 9pm. So I said great we can order takeout real quick. She replied no you can't we shut down the kitchen already. I told her you guys are still open til 9, we drove 35 minutes to come here. She said "our kitchen is closed we have somewhere to be" So we left. Very disappointed in the service. If you're restaurant says your open til 9 you should take customers til 9pm. Then they changed owners and for a while I stopped going because the food wasn't as good, specifically the wings. I just went in today again to see if things had changed, (I had noticed some new signs). I ordered wings again, and am happy to say, they are as good as they used to be. Large wings with plenty of sauce. Came out piping hot. I like the extremes, so I had the garlic parmesian, and they must have found the old recipe, it was excellent. I have been coming to Stellar Wings for several months. They offer a honey bbq wing that I enjoy also their nachos are good. I normally go about once a week. About a month ago I ordered and picked up my order went home and was very disappointed the fries were so greasy I couldn't eat them and the wings were not what I had grown used to. I decided not to go back for a while then last week I tried the restaurant again and my order was back to what I enjoy. The fries were good and the wings were crispy and full of flavor. Today I placed my order on line as usual waited for the allotted time and went to get my order. When I got there I was told they had not received my order and asked what I had ordered I showed proof of purchase and was told I would have to wait, the person helping me was on his phone talking while looking at my order I showed him. As I continued to wait I was asked who I was which surprised me having shown him my confirmed order. I showed him my drivers license to prove who I was. I continued to wait for my order, surprised I had to show proof of who I was after he looked at my order confirmation. It was insulting from my perspective. You really have to not judge the book by it's cover here. It's not the most appealing place ever, and I'm pretty sure it's a taco shop, that does wings, and the building used to be a daycare or something like this. Pizza Hut and Taco Bell have proven to be better combos, but the food here is overall pretty good! I was looking for a wing place and this one was highly rated. They have a million different sauce choices, and the wings taste great. Rather than a breaded wing, they're just naturally fried. I tend to appreciate this since a wing shouldn't have breading. They also have boneless wings and those are breaded as expected. I will for sure be back, but I will be ordering my food to go haha. I was trying to find a good wing place but Stellar Wings had that and more. I was impressed with the food. The place isn't anything fancy by all means and the music was actually fun and upbeat. I don't care as long as the food is good. I got 10 wings with garlic parmesan and parmesan buffalo sauce on the side. I didn't want my wings to get soggy with the sauce covered in it. Both were tasty! And they were crunchy and delicious. They had different flavors to choose from. I also never had a pupusas and ordered pork and cheese and omg, it was very tasty! It also came with a spicy slaw and a dipping sauce that made the pupusa extra special. We also got the Quesabirria and I was impressed with the flavor it had with the consume. The only thing was the service, it seems like it took a long time for everyone's order to come out. Not sure if they only had one fryer to fry everything? But when we got our wings, the fries were cold. If it had been hot it would have been really good. Also we just had water and they had water jugs to grab the water from but I wish they had ice because the water wasn't refreshing and was a little warm to drink. The name stellar wings, I was expecting something out of the world. If you've never been to a wing place before this place might be a bit confusing. The staff by the counter does not help much too, or smile much. The staff was great, but I think service could have improve. I was a bit confuse trying to figure out the system of the menu and stuff, no help was offered. He just stood there staring at me waiting for my order. I was pressured and kinda didn't want to ask questions. Their wings was a very nice size, and very saucy, but I wish they were hotter. I was a bit confuse when the guy never asked me for my spice level and thought that each sauce was a representation of the spice level next to it. See...confusion!!! I still don't know if you need to indicate spice levels. I also tried the galactic fries. It was delicious, and super saucy. My fries totally soaked up every bit of the sauce. The fries did get soggy towards the end, but that didn't bother me, I might bother other people, so be wary of that. The drinks are self serve, but it's weird that they have a sweet tea, but no unsweetened tea. And then they have the typical coke products. We loved Stellar Wings! We actually cheated and got tenders instead of wings but the chicken was quality meat as well as tender and juicy. The breading was not too heavy but gave just enough of a crunch. We had the buffalo, sweet & sour, and honey bbq sauces and the sweet & sour was our very favorite. They're cooked perfectly and the sauces are really tasty. I feel like most wing places are good at one or the other but these guys killed both of them. There is however a sauce I want to exploit for good reason and that's the spicy cilantro sauce, holy Moses this was good. The combos come with fries and a drink so when you order wings, you get hooked up my friends!!
