My mother in law loves this place, they have good Italian food and a large selection. Nice atmosphere.

Love the food! Get a lot for what you pay for. The staff is friendly and it has a nice relaxing bar area. I have been here a few times.

We decided to give this place a chance since the reviews were all over the place. Sadly the negative ones won here. Which is unfortunate because the staff was truly amazing and attentive. Even the busboys were very polite and friendly! The food however, was subpar. I ordered the Spaghetti Gusto and my husband ordered the stuffed shells. We could tell immediately that the shells and my meatballs were obviously reheated from frozen. The meatballs had a burnt taste to them and were so spongey. The shells were stuffed with spinach and ricotta but the flavor was so bland and watered down. My sauce was olive oil based, heavy on the oil. The diced tomatoes were either enormous cubes or bite sized. Same with the basil. No uniformity at all. I was pleased that the bartender had a heavy hand though since my $10 glass of wine was ridiculously marked up. I've had 14 Hands wine several times and know the average cost is $8 a bottle, whereas they had it marked up to $23. That's insane. Will not return here. Hopefully the wait staff does not get penalized for the food quality when it comes to tips because as I said they were amazing. read more

Horrible in almost every area (the waitress was very nice). The calamari was rubbery and tasteless, the soup seemed like it was from a can; I guess the salad was okay, but how can you screw up a salad? I should have known the food was going to be bad. We asked the waitress if we could get a normal entree sized down to a kids portion (they only had a few things for kids). The waitress told us that they couldn't do that because the food came in set portion sizes. When the food came, we figured out that the entrees were frozen. Absolutely horrible! With the prices they charge, we expected home made Italian. There are many, many excellent Italian restaurants in Kenosha...Casa Capri is not one of them. read more

The restaurant is a classic Italian restaurant. The staff is very nice. I have been there several times I always get the house special stuffed manicotti it comes in a crockpot and is great. I recommend this dish it is their signature dish and is great . The prices are reasonable. read more

this is a five star with 2 star prices. I am of Italia descent. I have been to MANY Italian restaurants & this is by far the best ever. no wonder they've been in business for over 50 years.... we had table of 5. we ordered pizza as appetizer. this is thee best thin crust pizza you will find. all the entrees were superb. I personally had the Rigatoni/with garlic olive oil. pasta cooked perfectly and the garlic olive oil was exactly if not better than what my grandmother used to make they do not skimp at all on the garlic. fresh salads made with mixed greens, bread basket. great wine selection & 5 star service as well. I was here yesterday for a baby shower. I hadn't been there for more then 20 years. I was so impressed by what Anna and Hondo have done with this place. I was also impressed with the quality of the food for a buffet. The sauce on the pasta was wonderful. We will be stopping in soon for dinner!! read more

Worse meal ever. Seriously hope we don't get sick. $78 waste of money and time. Very very disappointing. Pizza had liquid floating on top, soggy crust. Didn't have all the ingredients requested. After our food arrived, it was the last time we saw our server until about 15 minutes after we had finished eating. Had he even checked on us at all we would have sent back the Pasta Alfredo that wasn't correctly prepared. We couldn't even get his attention to even refill our drinks. I would be more understanding if it was busy but It seemed like he was more focused socializing with his one other table all night. Once he finally came back to offer us boxes for our leftovers, we let him know were not happy with the service or the food, he says "yeah, ok". It didn't seem like he cared at all and once he brought the box for our pizza he carelessly tosses the bill on the table and goes "I'll just leave that". Went to Casa Capri for a family dinner the day after Christmas. Good drinks, better food, excellent service. Zach, our waiter, was as friendly as he was attentive. Lucky for the table who has him as their waiter - we would definitely be back because of the service. read more

With their consistency, they have earned an extra star in my book. Their homemade soups are delicious! My BF now always gets the Chicken Marsala and it is great! This use to be one of our favorites, but for several years we did not visit. Just went recently with our granddaughter and her boyfriend. This has become an expensive place, or maybe we just didn't notice in our earlier visits. Food was OK, but not outstanding. The Italian dishes taste like any other place in town. I had Lamb chops and they were very small and not much flavor. For deserts, they were limited and did not have 3 of the ones we saw on the menu. The décor was nice but older supper club look. The food was just average compared to other Italian Restaurants in the area. I ate my meal before I realized our waitress forgot our bread basket. Being I don't get out to fancy restaurants much, that was very disappointing. We ordered An Irish Mule and they wanted a credit card for a deposit for the cooper mug. Trust me, I paid for that mug because they charged us over 10 dollars for the drink. I'm not sure if they were suppose to gives us money back? My cooper mug was rusted too. Casa Capri is an excellent Italian restaurant!!! They have a WIDE varriety of entrees to choose from and weekends boast excellent special dishes. They offer banquet services which also have a wide variety of excellent selections. Not to mention their service for banquet events is superb! I had an event there and received excellent feedback from virtually all of my guests. read more

I don't quite understand how people can give this place positive reviews, but there did seem to be customers there who were pleased with their experiences. Maybe it's just me. Maybe the waitress immediately decided that, because we were a small party and had a child with us, we were not her first priority. We waited ten minutes to get a drink order...then we waited ten minutes for her to come back and take our order...we had to ask twice to get one of the drinks...and, from the time we placed our actual order to the moment our food arrived, we waited (conservatively) about an hour and 15 minutes. I get the "slow dining" thing, but that's a bit extreme. By the time we actually got our food, it was quite inedible. My daughter's ravioli was stone cold, the noodles undercooked, the filling absolutely disgusting and the sauce tasted canned. Both mine and my husband's dish had very obviously been sitting under a heat lamp for a while, as they were super hot on the top and cold on the bottom, looked waxy and old, and had all the sauce settled to the bottom. The waitress insisted that it was made right before she brought it out and that our concerns were due to the sauce not being mixed correctly. When we appeared not to believe her, she got rather rude. We didn't eat our $50 meal, and certainly had nothing worth taking home. The prices are actually decent, and I wouldn't have minded paying it...for a decent meal, which is NOT at all what we got. What really slayed me was that the server dropped off the bill, and found ways to hover over us while we put down the tip. Anyone who's ever worked in food service knows that this is a huge no-no, and it made us extremely uncomfortable. She was nowhere to be found while she was supposed to be serving us, but mysteriously had all the time in the world to glare at us while we tipped her. I imagine she expected from the time we walked in the door that we would not be good tippers, and our food and service were rendered accordingly. That ended up being a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy. read more

The service was extremely poor staff ignored me and walked past me several times. This establishment Was recommend by a co- worker of mine. We went to Casa Capri with the whole family, and I have to say I was pleased with everything! Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and attentive to our needs. I ordered a Dirty Martini and was surprised all the options that I was given for the drink. It was very smooth tasting. The French Onion soup was among the best that I have had, and the salad was fresh and the perfect size. The meal portions were quite large; it made us feel as though we were getting our money's worth. Even the children's spaghetti with the meatball was a generous amount of food. My wife and I both ordered Chicken dishes: She had the Chicken Marsala and I had the Chicken Casa Capri. We both shared a little bit with each other, and everything was very tasty, hot, and fresh. We all left wanting to go back to try other things off the menu; always a good sign when going to a new restaurant. So in summary: Pros: Very good food, generous portions, nice friendly atmosphere, and the food was hot and fresh. Cons: It took a while for our order to come up. (The soup and salad and bread helped us along during the wait) A bit pricey. It is clearly fine dining, and not somewhere that you can go to frequently without busting your budget. read more

I've been there with my wife a half-dozen times, and the food is absolutely great -- home-made Italian is the theme. The veal is superb, the bread and the salad is fresh, the wait staff is always cordial. We've had many different entrees, and we've never been disappointed. If you're looking for fancy digs, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a restaurant that serves consistently good food and treats you nicely, this is your kind of place. read more

I have been dining at his restaurant for MORE THAN 30 years. I brought a ''special needs'' sister along with me. I was ''unaware'' that on Friday's dining here is ''all about the Seafood'' I WILL NEVER DINE HERE ON A FRIDAY AGAIN! The ''FOUL SMELL'' of Clam Chowder was all around me (I was literally turning "GREEN" BEFORE I even ordered!!!!). ''Anna'' the server took awhile to get to our table. It was EARLY in the dinner service and the restaurant WAS NOT BUSY YET. We had the menus and ''Anna'' came to ask what we wanted to order.I need to read the menu to my sister who has sight limitations(this takes some time as their menu is quite large and my sister is new to Kenosha, and has not dined here before tonight). We had questions FIRST. We asked if they had any" specials" and were directed to the back of the menu page. On the back page of the menu was slid in a paper page of "Today's Specials". We questioned some of the items and found out this restaurant ON FRIDAY'S HAS CLAM CHOWDER ONLY SOUP!. I love this restaurant ''Homemade (In-House Made) Soups BUT NOT SEAFOOD SOUPS!!!. I ask ''Anna'' If the restaurant has ''Baked French Onion Soup'' or any other non-seafood soup. She giggles and say'' we have been serving Clam Chowder ONLY on Friday's since the 1950's".I reply back "WELL I guess I will NEVER DINE HERE ON FRIDAY'S". I do eat fish IF IT DOES NOT STINK!!!! I vacation in Seattle and that involves NOT SMELLING ''Foul Smelling Seafood". Our waitress ''Anna'' grew quickly irritable with us asking questions about the menu as the restaurant was starting to get busy now. We are here to ''enjoy the food and have an enjoyable dining experience''. ''Anna'' was ''throwing questions'' and was growing becoming more impatient with us and trying to ''rush'' us to order. ''Anna'' was trying to get me to ''settle'' for food items that I do not like to eat. I finally had to tell here to leave our table and to come back later and ''give us some breathing space as she was ''hounding'' over me. We were not in a hurry to dine. As seeing ''Anna'' ''work'' the tables around us we were convinced she was trying to get as many tables (covers) in and out as fast as possible for the increase in her tips. I NEVER come to this ''FINE DINING ESTABLISHMENT'' to BE RUSHED IN AND OUT. I EXPECT the WHOLE ''FINE DINING EXPERIENCE''. Now ''WE ARE READY TO ORDER'' and ''Ann'' is standing up at the hostess desk talking to other employees. Our meal service is choppy and unorganized. My sister gets her ''stinky chowder'' as I sit waiting for my starter so I sit eating bread. We have to ask for my sisters salad to be brought. I am still waiting for my starter. I could have used my salad instead of having TO WAIT or eat bread and water only. I love the food here but I will NEVER dine here again on a Friday and I will not be served by ''Anna''. read more
