The Driller with a side of avocado
    Jessica S.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Hubs and I went for breakfast on a Saturday morning around 10:30 and it was packed![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat at the bar because those were the only open spots![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Aside from the several flies that we had to swat away every few seconds, the food and service was pretty good![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hubs had the driller, cleaned his plate! I had the sourdough breakfast sandwich with hash browns. The sandwich itself was delicious! The hash browns had some Cajun seasoning or something similar mixed in with them and it was too much. If we were to go back, I would ask for the hash browns without any Cajun seasoning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good size restaurant with lots of seating, the servers each took care of us, I noticed that they did that throughout the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also, have the hand held computers to take your order and payment.

Great price for a delicious fresh breakfast. They have plenty of options, location is nestled and hidden in a small spot on fairmont. The mural inside is so gorgeous! This place definitely can be busy on the weekends but they still make sure you are well taken care of. Easy parking in the parking lot.

Long Black hair on the hashbrown container

Completely TERRIBLE! There was a long black hair on the container that had the hashbrowns. I have red hair so I know it's not mine. I ordered over the phone to pick up. I had heard it was good. I was incredibly disappointed. The 'over medium' eggs were hard as a rock. The 'crispy hashbrowns' were soggy, on paper, and just yucky. The biscuits and gravy already had the gravy poured on and were a soggy, cold mess, AND the gravy was POURED ON TO THE FOOD WITH PAPER UNDER THE BISCUITS! Why would I want to eat soggy, gravy, covered paper? I am honestly so angry at what I spent $25 on. I will never, ever go back, and I recommend not wasting your money. I threw out the hashbrowns because I don't want to eat somebody else's hair. I shouldn't have to pay for someone else's hair on food. If I can give less than one star I would.

This breakfast cafe was so cute! The mural on the wall was beautiful, and there's tons of natural light. The food is very reasonably priced: $6 for biscuits and gravy, $3 for extra bacon or ham. My only complaint was the food and coffee. I ordered decaf so that's likely the reason why, but the coffee was not fresh and was way too watery. However, it was a bit of a bummer going out and ordering breakfast and having a subpar cup of coffee! The food was decent, but the bacon was a bit burnt and the ham was greasy. The servers were very quick to get the food and drinks to my table, and kept the coffee topped off. Not sure if I'd go out of my way to come back, but for a cheap breakfast, I liked the Pelican.

    Sourdough sandwich

What a lovely breakfast spot! Cute and quaint. We ordered a sourdough sandwich with hash browns and a side of grits. Oh my goodness. So much food. Eggs were fluffy, bread was thick and toasty. Grits were tasty. Hash browns were cooked great. Server was attentive.

Although the wait was a little longer than usual for the food, it was worth it. This is a nice little brunch spot with good seating and service! We really enjoyed our food and time!

The food is amazing, it's my award for being good at the doctors office next door. The servers are very nice and polite. The spinach feta omelet is one of the best I have ever had. The ambiance is very good and layback.

Went to treat the family to breakfast, I got the crab cake beni : it was good, but my egg was not sunny it was cooked through. Which is fine. Brother in law & father in law got the chicken fried stake they loved it! Hash browns where definitely a hit with amazing seasoning. Can't go wrong with the driller it's definitely a filler. Service was good, host got us seated quick, waitress was attentive and nice we had a party of 10 and she quickly started putting a table together for us to fit. It did take a while to get our food though, but it was worth it at the end. The establishment was pretty nice I thought their decor was pretty cute, ambiance is calm when you go early other than that it does start getting packed and you will be waiting since it's not that big.

There are many regulars that we see and speak to every week. That's how you know people like a place and feel welcome... they keep coming back. Crystal (the owner/manager) is kind and wonderful. She is on top of things and I've seen her do every job from computer work to straightening up to helping cook in the back. She seems to be the type of person who is willing to do whatever needs to be done. She also seems to have a great relationship with her staff and that's also very important. Manuel is very friendly and helpful. He's knowledgeable about their menu and always remembers what our friend likes to drink when she forgets what it's called. I love the openness and space. There's a couch and chairs in the back if you feel like lounging, plenty of tables in the front for eating, working, or just sitting at. There are games that people can play although sometimes children get ahold of them and pieces go missing. There is also a little kids play area which is golden when you have a toddler. I love that I can sit and have my food/coffee and also keep an eye on my little guy while he plays. It's a wonderful place to meet with people or to just take your kids when you need to sit down with a cup of coffee while they play. They have a good variety of drinks on top of the seasonal offerings. The food is good, and I kind of love that a lot of it is made in a waffle iron. It makes me want more waffle shaped food. The grilled cheese is made with sourdough bread and cooked in a waffle iron. It has these little crispy bits that are heavenly. One of my favorites is the sausage egg and cheese biscuit with a side of gravy. It's also prepared in a waffle maker and has those little crispy bits on the edges. So so good! So yourself a favor and give it a try.

Flash fried and Bell pepper really balanced the flavor throughout. The chicken pot pie was a standout. Special thanks to Magen for making my mom's birthday brunch extra special. She kept the cocktails flowing and even offered us some off menu items like her cherry cosmo and dragonfruit mimosa. First, I have to give a huge shoutout to our waitress. I wish I had gotten her name because she was absolutely delightful! She was so personable, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Great service and even provided some jokes to lighten up the mood with the girls. Lol. To drink, I ordered the Rejuvenate for a little morning pick-me-up, and it was refreshing and just what I needed. For my meal, I had the Bravocado Toast, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Our waitress also insisted we try her favorite pancake--it came topped with candied walnuts (and another topping I can't quite remember!), and I'm so glad she did. I'm typically a waffle girl, but this pancake may have converted me! It was incredibly fluffy, light, and perfectly balanced--not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. Overall, this was an excellent breakfast experience from the food to the outstanding service. If you're in the area and looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot, Snooze A.M.
