Stella's is a perfect weekend brunch place to recover from any hangover if you're looking in the St. Pete area. It might be based off nuns but I promise they won't judge you This past Saturday was the first time I have eaten out in over 2 1/2 months. My mom and I split their weekend special of a spicy egg and avocado toast. It was easily the best avocado toast I've ever had. I got the egg cooked over medium and was delivered perfectly. The spicy sauce that drizzled over the shrimp and egg tied in the meal perfectly. I got the French toast with cinnamon raisin bread which was very delicious ... next time I will recommend just getting the Texas toast-French toast and I finished the meal off with a bowl of fresh fruit. Oh Stella's. How I love you so!!! Everything is good here. Stella's is my go to for brunch or anyone who asks where to go! Sometimes the wait can be a lot (this past Sunday at 11am we waited 1 hr 10 min to be seated, part of 4) but the addition of the outdoor bar while waiting is genius. I have also walked right up and gotten a table for 2, so purely depends on the day. My go tos: classic BLOODY MARY! It's delicious. I have no idea what they do special but it's so good. Crab cake Benedict- so delicious I can't. I've had the lox Benedict and avocado toast too which are yummy. Hubby loves the breakfast burrito. And everything on the menu is a reasonable price! I've been staying in gulfport about a month now and finally made my way over to the infamous Stella's! I had wonderful experiences (I have gone twice in the last week) First day I went I got the breakfast burrito with a side of sour cream and salsa. Definitely the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. Very filling and amazing flavor. I got an iced tea which was packed up in a to-go cup for me (a whole new cup) for free without me even asking. The second time I went I got the French toast (regular because unfortunately were out of the banana nut ones I've been wanting to try) - I got this with scrambled eggs and bacon and honestly these sides were not very good. I could have made them better myself. The bacon was cold and flavorless. BUT - I got a side of fried green tomatoes because I have never tried them and OH MY GOD. They were so amazing. The side sauce they give with it is so good. This made up for the bacon!!!! as well as the service. The servers are kind and attentive. We've been wanting to go here ever since we moved into town not long ago. They being LGBTQ friendly and local we wanted this to be awesome. First impressions are great! Love the vibe/atmosphere. The server/service was good. Now the food was just okay. I got a mexiburger which was a solid B. The chorizo makes it super greasy so you have grease everywhere and the bun is very soggy with grease. I got potato salad as my side. The side came in a 4 oz plastic cup. Two bits worth. Now for $16 that's a rip off. I side should be in a 8 oz cup not a dressing cup. I didn't get a few items on my burger and they came out with them on it. No biggie I took them off, but it wasn't acknowledged by our server. We got a side of ranch at $1.50. Again, rip off. That's literally double of what is the norm. Overall very disappointing because so many people talk this place up. We will try again eventually. read more

The water tasted like sewer water, my boyfriend spit it out. It was a cute place hit a bad place for breakfast. I noticed the owner was expanding and it said on window gourmet food. I understand that it is easier when customers do not have any questions at all but sometimes we have no choice but to ask a few more questions to determine if eating there will be a good idea. Really chill cool spot. Our waitress Cali was really attentive and super sweet. Fantastic breakfast spot. Get there early because it gets busy - and people will wait, despite another spot next door that obviously started offering breakfast to try and get the overflow. Most still wait for Stella's. Our server was fantastic - they all were. The place is full of regulars, and even though we are not, they made us feel so welcomed and part of the "family". The coffee is Kawha, so enough said there. The food was obviously made fresh to order, portions were a good size, and the flavor profiles distinct. Ordered the Deep South Burger, comes double patties, 2 fried green tomatoes, fresh baby spinach, goat cheese and a spicy mayo. As you can see by my picture the burger was thick and more than filling. You have a choice of tater tots, potato salad or chips. A little disappointment with the meat, it had no seasoning just plain meat. Maybe it's just me but I like my hamburger meat seasoned. I added salt and pepper but did not help. If you like plain meat you will like this as everything else on the burger was very good. The tots were very good and cooked perfectly with a crisp outside and seasoned well. The outside dining area is nice and has a great atmosphere. Our server was very good, checked on us regularly. Someone in our party had the Greek Goddess omelet which was more than she could eat. She said it was very good, I will order breakfast next trip as several items sounded good. We ordered 4 x Eggs Benedictine total 8 eggs-SEVEN of them were hard boiled , only one was soft , not even runny:( My son's pancake was raw, baking powder, or baking soda gave huge tingling to my tongue. Bagel and sad looking lox has only memory of cream cheese . Save your time and money visit other choices around . LOVE Stella's! The place is a favorite amongst locals. They have alcoholic breakfast beverages as well as regular drink products. Something I've never seen before was Bloody Mary and mimosa flights. This intrigued my breakfast buddy as well as myself so he ordered the Bloody Mary flight while I tried the mimosa flight. Both were delicious! I even made a few combinations of my own. For the food portion we both decided to get the two and three egg breakfasts. While he got his eggs over medium, I tried mine scrambled with American cheese. Both were served with choice of hashbrown, house potato, or grits and choice of bread and meat. I tried out the cinnamon raisin bread with the special cinnamon house butter, bacon slices, and hash browns. All cooked to my liking! Thanks to fellow Yelpers, we tried Stella's. Located in the heart of Gulfport, we were given the option of indoor or outdoor dining. We were seated upstairs, on the outdoor porch/patio, with a lovely breeze to accompany the perfect temperature. Looking to ground-level diners, several brought their adorable furry canine family members along, which Stella's welcomes. Patty was our friendly, accommodating waitress and reviewed the day's specials and answered any questions. My order consisted of the 3-egg omelet with mushrooms and feta cheese, home fries, cinnamon raisin toast AND a free Kahwa coffee for checking in with Yelp. The food was not unusual or exceptional. But, the outside dining on the upper level, enjoying time with an out-of-town friend, the perfect Florida Winter weather and the charm of Main Street in Gulfport all totaled to an enjoyable breakfast/brunch experience. read more

I went for brunch to this place with a friend. We got their right on time as tables were getting snatched. Or server was very nice and friendly. Everyone seemed like they liked working there. The place itself has a lot more seats on outside than inside, but we live in Florida and it was a really nice day, so all the tables outside were full. I decided to order the quiche of the day and my friend ordered the salmon bennedict with a side of veggies. The food arrived within about 10 minutes. Looked amazing. Also tasted great.
