This pizzeria is on a busy street. If you are trying to turn in the opposite direction it can be difficult and requires a great deal of patience. There is onsite parking, but I can see it getting full quick. This place has 6 tables within the restaurant. The locals waiting for their meals were super friendly. There is a huge menu of food from sandwiches, pizza, and entrees. When you walk in, the smell is so overwhelming delicious. We ordered a large pizza to go. We were informed 25 minutes for the pizza to be done. The smell was driving us crazy that we ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza to split as we waited. Food: The slice of pepperoni was good. The crust was very thin. We did ask for it to be heated up and the slice arrived super hot and trying to pick it up, we burned our fingers. Don't dive in too quickly. Now once we got the whole pizza to our destination, we tried that. This pizza was super delicious. The crust was thicker and had a wonderful flavor and chew. The toppings were perfect. I highly recommend to order an entire pizza if you can, it is way tastier than the slices already cooked. The large pizza was huge for 2 people, but that is okay, leftovers! We got it home and put it in the fridge. As a late time snack, the colder pizza was even better than the pizza piping hot. TIP: there are signs everywhere that if you pay cash, you get a 4% discount. This is the third time I went to Stella's pizzeria, walked in, looked at the assortment that they had to offer at lunchtime and it looked like the pizza has been there since last night. They never offer anything new and exciting. The pizza looks old. They have to always reheat it. Nothing looks fresh and ready to eat like a good pizzeria would offer you. Extensive menu with very reasonable prices. Service was great!ordered cheeseburger deluxe which was great. Very generous with toppings-lettuce, tomatoes, red onions. Friend ordered 1/2rack of ribs which came with soup, mashed potatoes and carrots. Ribs were "delicious, not dried out. Potatoes were "real" and carrots freshly sliced". Ordered a 4 piece chicken dinner, received 2 pieces of chicken, and 2 chicken wings. The chicken was burned, and the fries were soggy. For $16, I took it back to the restaurant, and the cook said that's the way the meal came wouldn't fix the issue. I won't be back. read more

You can easily miss the best by-the-slice pizza in Hudson--it's just past the overpass by the train track that crosses under Fairview. NYC quality pizza served quickly and without fuss. Picked up a large pizza from here last week. Disappointed. The crust in the photos from Stella's II across the river look much closer to the NYC-style slice we love. Unfortunately, our crust was much thicker and doughy. Probably won't be back again. Seems to be no true NYC slices in Columbia County now that Pizza Den in Chatham closed. I had wings from here & was the only one in my house to eat them, today I get food poisoning. Besides a small breakfast all I had was the wings & a slice of pizza. Everyone in my house ate the pizza. I was in Hudson for work and got lunch here for myself and a client. We both had the salad and could probably have split it and still had some left over. The salad was good and fairly priced. Although they said delivery would be over an hour, so i decided to pick it up which only took 45 min! The staff wasn't overly friendly but not distant either. Honey sesame wings were literally honey drizzled and sesame seeds sprinkled on them, not actually a sauce and weren't flavorful. Wings were on the small side but were nice and crispy. We ordered two dinners and per their usual they messed up the order. We got home and they gave us a completely wrong dinner. We called them and they said they would bring the correct meal to us only if we return the wrong one, that's fine but they said it would be another half hour. WTF!!! Horrible horrible horrible! Okay, after 5 years of dealing with inconsistent quality, poor customer service, crazy long delivery times and routinely messed up orders, I'm officially done ordering from Stellas. Tonight was the tri-fecta of incompetence that broke the camels back: almost two hours for delivery, one pizza was completely wrong, they forgot two of the things we ordered and the second pizza was literally raw in the middle. My husband and I absolutely love Stellas! For us, consistency is crucial and Stellas has consistently quality food. With an area like Hudson that has many different pizza places, I imagine it's hard to stick out. I waited about 20 minutes for my order( take out) and after 10 I asked to make sure my order had gone back to the kitchen and it had not!
