Waited forever for our food, only one waitress but a sweetheart; everything came out piping hot and delicious!!! Would only suggest that the macaroni & cheese - which was cleverly served as a plate of pasta with cheese sauce - contain something - anything - to add nuance and relief from cheese sauce overload. I happened to have ordered a side of broccoli rabe and added that, but spinach or mushrooms or peas - something green or earthy will make this dish truly excellent. I stopped by Camila's Pizzeria & Grill in Downtown Hudson very recently for takeout. The place offers takeout and full service dining, inside in their dimly lot cozy dining room and a table outside in front of the shop. They also have Camila's To Go in Loudonville (Colonie) too! I ordered a Chicken Cutlet Sub ($12 plus tax) for my lunch, which was ready and bagged to go in 15 minutes. I waited in front of the restaurant in my vehicle since street parking in Hudson is metered (25 cents for 30 minutes) and the meter maid was out in full force ticketing on a Saturday afternoon. The 8" Chicken Cutlet Sub was cut in half and boxed , which had a tender breaded chicken cutlet, mesculin greens, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, and balsamic dressing between a chewy and soft ciabatta roll. This sandwich was pretty good, just what I needed for a good and easy lunch. read more

This was my first time here and I can say I had a good experience. The food was good, but could be better. Both our pastas were way undercooked, but besides that, the flavor was great. I had the blackened chicken Alfredo and I'll definitely get it without the chicken next time as I felt that it didn't belong in the Alfredo. The chicken had a little spice to it! The restaurant was very clean. They had pop teen music playing in the background which didn't make it feel like an Italian place. I would definitely recommend some soothing Italian music ! I would like to mention that our waiter, Guilherme, was absolutely phenomenal. He was still training and he did an amazing job. He certainly made our experience there an exceptional one. Excellent food! We enjoyed everything. We sat outside, and they had live music in the park across the street which was fantastic. It was so nice! I had the blackened chicken Alfredo. Very good! We called to order a Hawaiian pie. They said they didn't have it but we could order any topping we liked. I asked for pineapple and ham, but then I asked if it was in a tomato sauce pie; they said yes. I then asked if they had white pizza and asked for the ham and pineapple to be on a white pie. They said they would do that. 20 minutes and $27 (for a medium pie!!!) later, we took our to-go only to find they added our topping on a red sauce pie! It was awful. I just finished reading the reviews and I'm wondering whether I was in the same restaurant. I will assume that nobody ordered "pizza". I put that word in quotes because it does not resemble anything you or I know of as pizza. My son has bought frozen pizza for $1.99 at Stop and Shop which was a whole lot better. Truthfully speaking, it was the worst "pIzza" I have ever seen....or eaten. A thin smear of dried red paste, an even thinner smear of dried out cheese(?). Did the person in the kitchen ever see or eat pizza? Were they high on something? But here's the real clincher....when we told the waitress that it was the worst pizza we had ever seen or eaten she replied...." Well, I have to say...you're not wrong". Stopped for lunch and only had an hour so we had to make it a quick one. Very trendy modern industrial atmosphere, we sat near the window overlooking the park. The waitress brought us the menus and glasses of water. We ordered salads, I got the goat cheese salad with grilled chicken. It was enormous, served with a beautifully grilled and tender sliced chicken breast on top, the dressing served on the side was delicious, I finished everything. My friend had the Buffalo chicken salad which had a sliced Buffalo chicken breast on top with ranch dressing it was really good. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area again. read more

I sent the following email to the restaurant with no response so now I will post here..."My friend and I went to Camila's in Hudson at 12:40 on Sunday, 4/13. The "server" was sitting at the bar on her phone and just stared at us when we walked in and said nothing. I asked if she was the server and she nodded and then I asked if we could sit anywhere and she nodded again. We sat at a table near her and waited while she resumed playing on her phone. After a few minutes she finally gave us menus. We sat for another 5 minutes, waiting for water or being asked if we would like drinks but that didn't happen. We got up and walked out and she remained sitting at the bar on her phone with her slippers on with no care in the world. It's a very bad look for your restaurant because I've always loved your food. Thought you should know." Today is now Thursday 4/17 and on my lunch break this afternoon, I drove by slowly and looked inside and the same server was sitting on the same bar stool playing on her phone while tables were outside waiting for service with no menus, no drinks, no food, no plates, no nothing. Our first visit and we will be back! The food here is reasonably priced and phenomenal. Three of us ordered different entrees and all were great. The lasagna had a great balance of flavor with rich deep tomato sauce and meat and perfectly layered pasta and cheese. It was very filling so I took half home. The fettucine alfredo was one of the best I've ever had with great flavor and not too heavy, yet satisfying. It had an almost herbal or floral note which our server attributed to the combination of cheeses. The saltimbocca had a totally different flavor profile from the other two, with the traditional saltimbocca and pasta in a broth based sauce with deep umami flavors. I think the most expensive entree was $22. The service was friendly and warm, and the restaurant was tidy and comfortable. Can't wait to go back! read more

The service was terrible we were given our water in the bottle no glasses we never got a refill (after we finally got our glasses) when the wait staff said they would get us more. The wings were tasteless the ambiance was a playground with the wait staff's friends. Definitely don't go if you get offended by foul language or get impatient sitting waiting to be waited on. My wife had to ask for her bread everything was like pulling teeth. Definitely a never go to again. The Shrimp Carbonara was water the chicken parm was so thin it only had one side. Went here on the recommendation of a friend to order eggplant parm hero (or sub). Was told by the waiter that they don't offer that. Thinking maybe he was new, asked him to check with chef. Came back and told us that no, they don't offer eggplant sandwiches at all. Ordered a meal, and the eggplant parm was very tasty. However, checked the takeout menu on the way out where clearly an eggplant parm hero was available. If they didn't want to serve it in the restaurant, they could have explained that. The taste of the food was good, nothing spectacular and overpriced for what it is. Very disappointed about the "extra large" pizza. I ordered the extra large pizza for my teenage son and 2 friends because this is listed as a 12 cut pizza. We get it home and it is really a 6 cut pizza cut into 12 very small slices. I had to cook extra food because they were starving. We ordered our wings extra crispy and they looked like boiled wings covered in sauce. We had to put them in the air fryer to crisp them up. We also placed the order ahead of time for a timed pickup and the food was all cold when we got it home. We live less than 3 miles from the restaurant so clearly it was cooked ahead of time and just sat until we picked up. And yes, we were there in time for our pickup so this was not due to a late pickup. I will say that the pasta dish we ordered was delicious but once again, had to be reheated because everything was cold. Overall it was really very "Okay" especially for the price. read more
