I absolutely love stellina pizzeria. They have very quickly become one of my favorite pizza places in the DMV and this location is definitely my favorite as I've been to several of them. Their picante pizza is my favorite, but they also have the best margarita pizza I've ever had. I love their calamari and their bombalinas and their stellina spritz is delicious. The atmosphere is perfect with a mix of outdoor and indoor seating and vintage Formula One photographs throughout inside, amid a backdrop of Italian summer themed aesthetic. They are a Michelin starred pizzeria.

I was craving a pepperoni pizza and stellina was the spot. This pizza is so fresh and light. The crust is delicious and the quality is exceptional. The service has always been wonderful at this location-there is plenty of seating available and close to the mall is a bonus.

Came here with high expectations after seeing they are ranked #24 on the World's Best Pizza list, and huge congratulations to them for that achievement. You can tell everything is made very intentionally. The ingredients clearly show quality, from the pizza to the pasta. Our server was good and thoughtful. They checked in and let our group of four know that we had probably ordered enough with two pizzas, one pasta, and an order of meatballs to share, which I appreciated. That said, we have pretty big appetites and still felt hungry, even after ordering an additional pizza. If you eat a lot, I would recommend ordering more than you think you need. I wouldn't say it's great value or that it's the best pizza I've ever had, but it is delicious and made with high-quality ingredients. I would come back to try their happy hour. The pizza tasted fresh, the dough texture was great, and the pasta was equally well done. However, if you prefer a crispier pizza, these leaned on the softer side. The ambiance is comfortable and modern, and I really enjoyed the open kitchen concept. One tip: ask for the chili oil. It has a nice kick and really enhances the pizza.

The food was great. We tried the arancini, fried artichokes, napulella pizza (anchovies), and arugula and fennel salad. We each had 3 glasses of wine, too. Sat outside on one of their 5-6 outdoor tables with our pupper and enjoyed our time there. I'm not a huge fan of Neapolitan style pizza so I might just stick to the other items - they had a long list of pasta dishes I would love to try. The indoor is nice and spacious. HH 4-6 on weekends.

Got a picture of everything but the pizza... oops! We ate that one a little too fast - my partner and I went to Stellina for lunch, he opted for a pizza and I got a pasta. Both were warm and filled with flavor but I'm defiantly getting my own pizza next time! The white pizza was gooey with cheese and fluffy dough. Service was kind and efficient, the environment was clean and neat - I'm already planning on brining family back. Tiramisu for dessert with some coffees on the side was a solid close out to a great lunch here!

I stopped by for dinner time and despite a few dishes being sold out or unavailable, everything we ordered was delicious. We tried the cuoppo mozzarella, polpette Della nonna, chitarra di pesce and margherita pizza. The cuoppo mozzarella is basically mozzarella cheese sticks and I didn't have high expectations, but they completely surprised me. I devoured them right away and the cheese tasted incredibly fresh! I also really enjoyed the chitarra di pesce which is a spicy seafood pasta. It definitely has a kick but nothing overwhelming. It was the perfect spicy level. The seafood was fresh and the noodles were chewy and clearly freshly hand made. The pizza was also delicious though by the time it arrived I was already so full. The service was average, it did take awhile for them to take the order. Other than that I'll definitely be back to try more dishes!

In my youth, I loved the happy hour scene at Lupo Verde but now that I have fully situated myself in the 'burbs, the days of casually grabbing some drinks after work is now a thing of the past. Luckily, the chef and manager of Lupo's opened up Stellina in Tysons and I am now able to get my fix of delicious and casual Italian fare closer to home...with an added bonus of being extremely kid friendly. Here are the things I love about the spot: 1) Ambiance balances a nice mix of whimsical and casual. It truly feels like a gathering spot to bring family, friends, or coworkers together. 2) Their pizza is insanely good ... like winning international awards good .... the speck and gorgonzola is my favorite although my family is horrified by the thought of stinky cheese. More for me! 3) Other menu winners for me are the fried artichokes, cuppo misto (basically a little paper cone of calamari), and squid ink pasta 4) Service is super, super friendly! 5) They have an incredible happy hour deal which includes a cocktail/wine, pizza, chips, arancino, and mozzerella for $25! Brunch menu looks incredible and is next on my to try list! Hope to see this local chain expand into Northern Virginia more because it is truly a local favorite.

Went back again Sunday night. As usual the pizza was delicious. I got the speck and Gorgonzola pizza. It's a white pizza and it was great! I don't really like Gorgonzola but it was not overpowering and the walnuts and touch of honey were a nice touch. My server was excellent. She answered all my questions and made some good suggestions. It wasn't crowded but it was super cold outside so most sane people were probably at home

Service: friendly and helpful server. Ours is in college and really was helpful and enthusiastic! It was really great to have someone that likes their job. Very personable young man. Food: we missed their Happy Hour by 30 minutes. I didn't even know there are a few different specials throughout the week. Like 1/2 of bottles of wine on Wednesdays!! I can't recall them all so check out the website. My friend and I shared the meatballs and the pizza. I prefer the pizza more. It was a white pizza with pesto and zucchini. I love the surprise of pistachio. It was a nice surprise since I normally would order the meat pizza with the spicy sausage - which is amazing. Ambiance: clean and welcoming. There are community high top tables and booths indoors. They also have seating outdoors!! Visit if your family (kids) want pizza that is healthier than most other pizza joints. They also have pasta and other Italian dishes!!

Struggled a little bit finding parking, there are parking garages in the area or one parking lot on the side of the Capital One Building. Dessert was delicious! I visited this spot for a yelp event and it was awesome! Loved trying out new food items. Pizza hit the spot. Inside seating is spacious with variety of tables. Booths, high table, and regular tables and chairs. Would love to visit again!

Delicious Neapolitan pizza with a scrumptious pillowy soft crust. So glad this restaurant finally came to Tyson's (across the street from us!) and been here over a dozen times since the restaurant opened! t! The restaurant is family-friendly with plenty of indoor and outdoor bench/table seating. When it's a nice day out, we are able to luckily snag a table outside without a wait or reservation. There are great happy hour and lunch special deals! You can get Pizza Bento Lunch box for $22 with a small Margharita pizza, mozzarella sticks, arancino ball, chips, and cannoli - it's quite filling! There's a similar deal for happy hour at $25 with a cocktail/wine/beer instead of a cannoli. Def worth it! The Focaccia Bread (you can request for whole or 1/2 pie) topped with olive oil is delicious and a great app! Crispy housemade Potato Chips - Tasty and great app for sharing! The Margherita pizza hits the spot with fluffy crust and charred bottom. While the oven is not wood-fried, the bottom of the pizza has a nice charred taste and I honestly couldn't tell the difference. Hubby enjoyed the Prosciutto pizza. Ortolana Veggie Pizza - So glad it was recently added to the menu! The juicy eggplant, red peppers, and mushrooms pair well and elevate the Margherita pizza! The White Pizza is delicious too! I ordered the Corazziera with Mozzarella provolone, wild mushrooms, caramelized onions, roasted eggplant (swapped the sausage for eggplant), topped with a red bell pepper drizzle. The Eggplant Parm appetizer is quite juicy and tender and a generous portion, could serve as an entree! The wine selection is pretty good. I enjoyed a couple of glasses of the Lambrusco wine while hubby liked the Chianti Classico. Of all the desserts, the Cannolis were hands-down the best (2 come in an order)! The two cannolis with crunchy shell and creamy chocolate chip filling on 1 side and crunchy crushed pistachio nuts on the other were tasty and satisfying, perfect sweet ending to our meal! Skip the alluring cakes from the display cases - they are very stale, bland, and taste like cardboard. I tried the Dulche Leche cake and the Chocolate Torta. After taking a couple of bites, I threw in the towel. Save room for the cannoli! The lemon Bomboloni fried donuts filled with Nutella were fun to try, but not my favorite. The donuts had a very intense lemon flavor that I wasn't expecting and perhaps overstuffed with Nutella. It took 20 min to get the donuts. Honestly, it was a bit challenging to enjoy the donuts as the kids had lost their patience waiting for them. Hubby wasn't a fan of the cappuccino. Love coming back for the pizza and exploring more dishes on the menu!

The best pizza, pasta and espresso martinis I've had a in while! I stumbled across Stellina Pizzeria at Capital One Center's Art Festival and went back the next day to treat my family. The ambiance is vibrant and super clean. The service was welcoming and our server recommended my new favorite dish: CHITARRA DI PESCE!!! This dish screams luxury!! Fresh ingredients loaded with flavor that was delicious down to every savory bite. I promise you will not be disappointed.

We came on a weekend for their daily happy hour. We were easily able to get seats at the bar, and ordered the negroni, charcuterie board (happy hour), mozzarella sticks (happy hour), margherita pizza, and cuoppo misto. The cuoppo misto was good, however it didn't come up with any shrimp (as listed) so we had to notify a staff member to get some. The pizza was pretty decent and neo-neapolitan style, but on the smaller size (10 inch pizza) that could be a personal pizza or for two. The mozzarella sticks only came with two, which I thought wasn't worth even for the happy hour price. The charcuterie board took awhile to come out, after all the other dishes. They also have happy hour daily from 4-6pm (at the bar only). There is an outdoor parking lot that has free 2 hour parking on the same block. It seems that they do not validate parking when we asked about validation. The staff member got a non-alcoholic for my friend, which was great, however, kept asking if he wanted an alcoholic drink even after we told him that he is not drinking. He was joking around, but kept bringing it up often so it felt slightly pushy.

He seemed to know a lot of the customers which makes it feel homey. They gave complimentary bread which came with butter, olive oil, balsamic, and other fixings. The bread was super soft on the inside and had a nice crunch from the exterior. My boyfriend and I ordered the calamari, scaloppini mare terra, fettuccini con funghi, and fettuccini al frutti di mare. In simple terms: calamari, a seafood vodka pasta, fettuccini alfredo w mushroom, and veal with lobster bits served with green beans and scalloped potatoes. Surprisingly, I didn't love the calamari. It had a good size but lacked flavor. It also could have been cooked a tad bit more for better color and texture. The fettuccini alfredo was super creamy and had such a strong mushroom taste! The veal was nice but a bit chewy for my liking. The scalloped potatoes were good but nothing special. However the star of the show was the seafood vodka pasta! It had such an amazing vodka flavor with loads of seafood! I have to admit, they put way too many calamari pieces and not enough of the other items mentioned in the dish. Another thing was that I found a strand of hair on my plate. When I notified the server, he said it was just from the green beans but would exchange it for me. Later, he explained that the "hair" was green bean skin.. which was odd to me considering the hair was turning black to white. I didn't appreciate him trying to make an excuse. I decided to look past it even though the server didn't apologize. Good first experience (other than the piece of hair). The seafood vodka pasta is def a must-have. The vibes are great and the owner makes you feel like family.

It was much appreciated. As for the food it was hit and miss. Our husbands had the short rib raviolis and-although it was flavorful, there was not enough meat inside the raviolis nor were there enough raviolis to justify the price tag. Since the sauce was extremely flavorful I forced my husband to share some of the skimpy sauce to dip my pizza crust on it. Luckily the guys had enough of the wonderful fried mozzarella and bread to not be grumpy. One tip that our whole party agreed on was that the sauce was better suited if it was paired with chunks of lobsters instead of of the stuffed short rib raviolis. I was happy with size of my thin crust pizza and it was way more than I could eat. However, I am not sure if I was actually ok with how the ingredients were divided jn the quarter a fourth of the pizza contained olives ,another fourth was the mushrooms, ,another fourth was the prosciutto and for the life of me I could not remember the fourth ingredient. I'm still ponedering whether I am a fan of this. My friend had the Marguerite pizza and she was extremely satisfied with it. As to the place itself, it's nothing fancy, it's just your typical pizza place in a strip mall. It's just ok. One thing I noticed about it is the dim lighting, but to be fair it's a normal complaint for most eating establishments. We all had to break out our IPhone flashlights to read the menu. I wish most eateries would have a dimmer switch by your table so that when you are ordering, there is sufficient lighting as you read the menu and when done can be adjusted to mood lighting. I noticed most of the upper forties and up patrons did the same thing as us when ordering.

With about 30 seconds of chewing per bite, my entire meal was gone in about two and a half minutes. The waiter seemed to be doing his best, but he was clearly stretched too thin with too many tables. The service felt disorganized--we were first asked for drinks (which is standard), then only appetizers. After finishing those, we had to flag him down just to place our dinner order. The most disappointing part was the ravioli di carne. The portion was not only inadequate but honestly felt insulting--both to me as a customer and to the restaurant itself.

I was a little hesitant at first because of some of the reviews, but I've been around long enough to know that there are some on this platform who provide reviews that are unfair and just plain nasty. So here it goes. I would describe this restaurant as a place to have amazing French food with a very engaging wait staff. Saeed himself waited on us, and he is very warm, charming, and very appreciative. I can tell by the clientele dining there, that Cafe Renaissance draws repeat customers who have come back not only for the good food but for the warm service. The room was very ornate, decorated with gold guilded pictures. Tables were adorned with fresh flowers and white linen. The cutlery was beautiful. The food too was amazing. First, the bread was to die for! It came out warm, crusty on the outside, and chewy on the inside, like french bread should be. A table next to us recommended the duck confit appetizer, and yes, it did not disappoint. The duck fell off the bone, and the depth of flavor was mouth-watering. The sauteed cherries and raisin/almond rice were the perfect accompaniment. My husband order foi gras, and yes, it was the lobe - not a terrine, not a tourchon. It was paired beautifully with poached pear and I believe some aged balsamic vinegard. For someone who loves foi gras, this took us back when more restaurants served just the sauteed lobe. My husband was not too fond of the carrots that were served with it, but he doesn't like carrots so that's that. We couldn't decide on the halibut or the scallops so Saeed offered to do the halibut with a scallop on top for us to try. What a nice idea. We both weren't into the scallop (I think maybe it was a little overdone, but it was tasty) but the halibut was the star, especially in the lemon/butte sauce. For dessert, Saeed recommended some simple berries, flambe'd tableside, with a side of ice cream. That was perfect, and again, Saeed indulged us with a small glass of port and slice of chocolate cake. Everything was amazing. So, if you want great French food and a warm and engaging staff, come to Cafe Renaissance. It's what I would call, APPROACHABLE fine dining without the pretence and snootiness. Thank you Saeed for making Christopher's birthday a special one. Can't wait to come back to try your other dishes on the menu.

Service throughout the meal was excellent. Our waitress was attentive without hovering, kept drinks topped off, checked in at all the right times, and made the experience feel welcoming from start to finish. The dining room itself left me with mixed feelings. It was incredibly humid inside, to the point where it became distracting during the meal. The booth seating also wasn't my favorite. The pleather-style upholstery made it surprisingly difficult to slide in and out, especially if you're sitting toward the wall. It's a small detail, but one that stood out. We ordered family-style so everyone could sample a little of everything, which I always think is the best way to experience a menu. The Caesar salad was the undeniable star of the table. Absolute banger. The dressing tasted unmistakably house-made with the perfect balance of richness, garlic, lemon, and anchovy. It's one of those deceptively simple dishes that can be hard to execute well, and they absolutely nailed it. The carbonara was enjoyable overall with a silky sauce and great flavor, but the pancetta was cut into pieces that were much larger than necessary. Smaller pieces would have distributed the flavor more evenly and made each bite feel better balanced. The table bread with the red sauce was another pleasant surprise. Fresh, comforting, and exactly the kind of thing that keeps everyone reaching for "just one more piece." The chicken parm sandwich had plenty of potential, but it was noticeably dry. It really needed a more generous helping of marinara to bring everything together and add the moisture you'd expect from a chicken parm. One area that could definitely use some attention is the restrooms. They were functional, but they felt tired compared to the rest of the restaurant and would really benefit from a refresh or remodel. Overall, this was a solid first visit with far more positives than negatives. While I'd probably skip the carbonara and chicken parm sandwich next time in favor of trying other menu items, that Caesar salad is something I'd order again in a heartbeat. It's rare for a salad to completely steal the show, but this one absolutely did. I'll definitely be back to see what else the kitchen has to offer.

Everything was delicious and reminded us of classic New York Italian cooking. The chef even came out to greet us, which was a thoughtful touch. We also loved that they offer both dine-in and takeout. We'll definitely be back. Be sure to pay for parking if in the back, there is a parking attendant ready to issue a ticket.

All of the food was fantastic, for appetizers the meatballs and garlic bread stood out for me. The coco joy desert was also absolutely phenomenal it was also vegan which made my lactose intolerant self very happy. The absolute star of the show for me though was the roasted chicken. This entree was one of the best things I have eaten this year, the sauce was a perfectly balanced tangy and herby addition to the crispy chicken. My meals were accompanied by their Sangria and Espresso Martini (which has a decaf option!). The drinks were delicious and they also have an extensive wine list which the rest of my party thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant is stunning and has a mix of tables and booth seating with lots of natural light streaming in. This is definitely the place to come for a date, girls night or just to treat yourself!
