I'll start off with my consultation, I came in to see dr. Bresnick for a breast augmentation with a lift. and Dr. Bresnick was very welcoming, answered any questions I had and was very patient and helpful in explaining anything i was unsure of and explained what the breakdown of the procedure would look like. After leaving the office I was sure that I was going to go with him but I don't make impulsive choices. I did not feel any pressure as if they were trying to convince me to go with them which I loved because most places do. Dr. Stephen Bresnick performed my Breast Reduction With Full Lift in November 2013 taking me from a size 36DDD/F to a 36C/D. I'm now 6 weeks post op and wanted to post a review. Dr. Bresnick is truly top notch... the creme-de-la-creme! You could not ask for more professionalism *or* better care, concern, warmth, comfort, understanding, experience, judgment and safety. His entire staff is fabulous and make you feel as though you are their most precious and only patient. I went for consultations with several different doctors in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita Valley but chose Dr. Bresnick because of his extensive experience, training, interpersonal skills and realistic explanation of what could realistically be done thru surgery. Without hesitation I knew Dr. Bresnic was THE ONE for me. Dr. Bresnick said my surgery would take longer than I originally expected but explained this was because he was the ONLY one who would be cutting, suturing, etc... he would have no "2nd/Assistant" surgeon operating on one breast while he did the other nor would he have another surgeon close after he did the bulk of the work. No, Dr. Bresnick performed ALL of my procedure and this was something that I had always assumed would be the case as it hadn't occurred to me some surgeons would operate in any other way. This is important. You should know ahead of time just how your surgery is going to be handled. It's not about being quick and its not about being cheap. It's about creating breasts that are in proportion to your body! Dr. Bresnick is by no means the cheapest but when it comes to cosmetic surgery you want the right surgeon, the sculptor, the true artiste re-shaping your body not just the one that gave you the best price. Dr. Bresnick's price was all inclusive. Something to be aware of when you're meeting with potential cosmetic surgeons. Dr. Bresnick's price included all pre-op visits and testing, the entire surgery, the post surgical supplies (any gauze, steri strips, etc as well as the post surgical bra) and every single one of the follow up visits. Yes, there are a LOT of follow up visits and this is important because both you and the medical staff want to be sure everything is healing properly. You WANT to be seen often - especially in the first couple of weeks after surgery when the risk of complication or infection is highest. I had 4 follow up appointments in the first week alone and my healing has gone beautifully... to the point where Dr. Bresnick himself has often said how remarkable it's been. I've not had a single complication!!! I followed each and every one of Dr. Bresnick's instructions because I figured if I trusted him enough to surgically re-sculpt my breasts, I should trust him enough to follow his instructions for proper healing. I would recommend Dr. Bresnick to anyone and everyone considering cosmetic surgery... especially anything related to breasts. I absolutely love this doctor, his office staff and everything about this place. After many years of considering Otoplasty, I decided in March 2011 to finally get serious and just go ahead with the procedure. I researched many doctors in the Los Angeles area, read MANY reviews online and even had consultations with three different doctors. As soon as I met with Dr. Bresnick and his staff, I knew that he was the one. Everyone is his office was so nice, kind, sincere and took the time to answer any questions that I had. Dr. Bresnick was not like all the other plastic surgeons in Los Angeles, that are pushy and trying to get your business, you could tell that he enjoyed doing what he does, and is there to help you feel better about yourself. I recently had my tummy tuck AND lip implants performed by Dr. Bresnick, and I would DEFINITELY recommend Dr. Bresnick AND his staff 100%. I had been considering breast augmentation for quite a long time. Luckily, my boyfriend mentioned he had a friend whose wife had a successful breast augmentation about 9 years ago with a surgeon who she was more than thrilled with. That surgeon was none other then Dr. Stephen Bresnick. She had nothing but amazing things to say about him. In addition, she mentioned several friends of hers that had very positive experiences as well. When I finally booked and attended my first consultation with him I just knew he was the one. I had only gone to one previous consultation before with another surgeon where I felt not all of my questions were being thoroughly answered and it felt very rushed. This consultation was the opposite. From the moment I met Dr. Bresnick, I felt I was completely comfortable in talking about my concerns, questions, etc. I came prepared with several pages of information and questions, and he was very patient and thoroughly talked me through all of it. I did not feel pressured or rushed to make a decision. I felt I was really being listened to. All of his staff is so warm and friendly as well. I booked my surgery date not too long after (Dec. 18th, 2013) and with every pre-op consultation, I felt even more reassured I made the right choice. There are so many choices to make when choosing your size and type of implant. For me in particular I had the common fear most women have of going either too small or too big. I looked through so many pictures, and though it got overwhelming, Dr. Bresnick was a great help in ultimately helping me choose what was best for me. I got mod plus Saline and went from a 34 B to a 34 DD. I couldn't be happier with my look and size! All of my friends and family were amazed at the results. The compliments are always about the significant boost in size and yet how natural they still look. Dr. Bresnick just has a knack for listening to exactly what you want and making sure the results are both natural looking and aesthetically pleasing. Fast forward to my surgery day. As scared as I was, I still felt so taken care of before and after surgery. Dr. Bresnick has a great bedside manner. The nurses do as well, as they were so calming and nice. Not to mention that you get a phone call from him the night or day after to check on you. Now when I say that you are in good hands at all times, I am really talking from experience. I developed a rather high nausea reaction to my pain-killers two or three days after my surgery, as I was taking them a little too regularly. I was advised not to do this by the doctor and nurses. But I did get a little stubborn, as I had a fear of feeling any pain at all. My mother called the nurse and Dr. Bresnick and his nurses saw me right way. They made sure I was hydrated back to health and told me to just take extra-strength Tylenol from then on. Again, the doctor and his staff had advised me from the beginning to take the pain-killers only as needed and a small dose unless I experienced more soreness. So the only reason I experienced this high amount of nausea was because I did not listen so well the first time! I listened after that clearly. Again, even in the most difficult part of recovery, for me at least, they were there for me right away and took such good care of me. You really get a special kind of attention and care here. You are not ignored or forgotten about once the surgery is done. This doctor's follow-up care is just as invested in you as the pre-op. They make sure you are taking care of yourself and your new additions in the best way possible. You want to truly know and feel from the beginning that you are in the right hands. I can tell you from experience, I can see why he has such a superb reputation. I honestly cannot say enough great things about him and his staff and their manner of care for you. I went in for a consult for breast augmentation early December, by mid December I had my surgery. The staff was great, Dr Bresnick is the best! I was initially referred to Dr. Bresnick after seeing a friend's breast augmentation results. After several consultations with different surgeons, I chose Dr. Bresnick because he seemed like the most confident, his staff was over-the-top sweet & comforting, and his before/after pictures were great. It's about time I give Dr. Bresnick and his staff the attention they deserve! When I initially called for a consultation, they did not have an opening for two months, but I explained that my situation was somewhat urgent, they were very accommodating and lucky for me, there was a cancellation, so they were able to get me in that same afternoon! A couple of girls in my gym had gone to Dr. Bresnick and highly recommended him, so I had him on my list. I had already consulted with a couple of other doctors in the valley as well as the fancy westside, so i was expecting more of the same. Not with Dr. Bresnick. First of all, his staff is so sweet, friendly and very welcoming. When I met with Dr. Bresnick, he exceeded all my expectations and impressed me from the get go. Not only did he answer almost all of my questions before I even had the chance to ask them, but he was extremely knowledgeable, patient (I know he was having a busy day and not once did I feel rushed), thorough and the best part was, he kept me very involved in the decision making about my procedure as far as incisions, placement, style, etc. He struck a perfect balance of offering his professional opinion and expertise, but still taking my wishes into consideration. I had never even experienced this with the other doctors I met with, so I knew right away that he was the one. They were able to schedule my procedure within a few weeks and called me the night before just to remind me of all of the pre-op stuff. The surgery center staff was just as fantastic! So friendly, kind and warm; especially with all of my pre-op anxiety. I had a million questions the day of and they were extremely helpful and Dr. Bresnick met with me right before just to make sure everything was in place. They have a very comfy waiting room where my bf patiently waited (there's also a lot of restaurants within walking distance for him to grab a bite) and before I knew it, everything was over. I didn't know what to expect as far as pain level (i know it was really high the first time I had this procedure done), and I honestly believe that a great surgeon can minimize the pain level and downtime from a major surgery. I have to say - i thought it was just the pain meds that first day, but my recovery was soooo smooth and sooo easy! I was up and about (but still very careful) in a couple of days and feeling like myself in no time. I couldn't believe it! Dr. Bresnick called me that evening just to check up on me and make sure I was doing well. What a testament to the way they feel about their patients! I am 8 months, post-op and everything is going great! My follow up visits have been with Debbie and she is great! She is just as efficient and thorough and always takes good care of me, whether I have enough bandages or cream or just asking me questions about how I'm feeling. Dr. Bresnick also sees me at the some of the follow ups and everything is fantastic! My new breasts look and feel amazing (they look like I was born with them!) and I am extremely happy and satisfied, Sure, i could have gotten the same procedure for cheaper (not much, though, his prices are very reasonable), but I would gladly pay the extra money for peace of mind and satisfaction that I received from Dr. Bresnick. Dr. Bresnick is Absolutely amazing !! Upon meeting Dr. Bresnick for my consultation, I knew that he was " the one". He and his staff made me feel right at home. Dr. Bresnick took the time to go over the the procedure of breast augmentation in detail. He answered all my questions and concerns ( I brought a list of them lol), but he was very patient and went over each one. He was very knowledge and helped me understand the whole process. I never had anesthesia before and that was a concern for me, After discussing this with Dr. Bresnick I felt at ease and knew that I would be safe and in good hands. I was so nervous, since I never had anesthesia before. The nurses were so kind to me and tried to keep me calm. After meeting with Dr. Bresnick, I decided to take the big step and have the surgery. He and his entire staff are so caring and wonderful. He explained everything that would happen, how the surgery and recovery would go. He was honest about the discomfort that I would experience. I really appreciate how he took a conservative approach, keeping in mind that I am in my sixties. He made sure I had a realistic expectation for the outcome. The surgery went really well.
