Part 1 - I was having visitors in my attic & I spoke with Brian over the phone. He had a full day already mapped out but made a special effort to come by my house to set up traps. Not only that, he gave me tips & stuff on what to do, what to look for etc... Again, he was able to see me on the same day. Very impressive! Issue resolved. Part 2 - Several months later, sugar ants showed up. This has been a recurring issue for the past 10 years and nothing would deter those guys. I called Brian over to the scene and he treated our house inside & out. That was a couple months ago. Haven't seen 1 ant since!!!! We are so pleased with Mr. Pest Control. I contacted A and A Critters who referred us to their pest division, Matt's, about an insect…read moreproblem. Matt himself responded right away and I was able to quickly get an appointment. We apparently tracked in fleas from outside where many dogs are walked close to our door, because our inside cat of several years suddenly had fleas, never seen before. Despite treating the cat directly with topical and oral meds, we kept finding them, along with what looked like eggs, when using a flea comb. I was horrified and after researching learned we needed to treat the environment. Matt explained the type of products they would use and what to expect, and the tech was great about communicating when on the way about his arrival time . We were still seeing a couple fleas and eggs a few days later and although I know the cycle can take a few weeks to break I was concerned, as some areas had not been treated. I contacted the office and they were responsive and courteous. Matt reached out with some info and they had the tech return to both retreat with another product and treat some new areas. I know that my stress was showing (having to wash every area rug, blanket, throw, pillow, sheet, anything fabric in hot water and dry it on high to kill the eggs and I was doing laundry round the clock) but the office, Matt and the tech remained patient and empathetic and never made me feel like I was a bother. After the second treatment we haven't seen any further evidence of fleas - but if we did, I know the service is guaranteed. Matt's Pest provided prompt, courteous, professional and effective service. Their treatment did not work for us, and then they refused to come back out to retreat even though I notified them within the required 30 days. I had them out for a one-time treatment of roaches, water bugs, spiders, and carpenter ants. Jesse said he'd give us an extra heavy treatment since we didn't want the quarterly service. Their approach of spraying primarily outside around the house was ineffective for us. We were still seeing live insects in our home after the treatment. I called back within the specified 30-day time period, and Dorian assured me he would come back out to retreat. However, due to an event at our home and subsequent vacation, we could not have him back immediately. I informed him when we'd be back, and he said he'd be in touch. He never called back, and because our lives were busy with out-of-town family visiting, travel ball tournaments, and a death in the family, I didn't call him back till the third week in June. In conversations with both Dorian and Jesse, they both said it had been too long for them to come back out. So even though I notified them within the required 30-day time period AND Dorian did not call when he said he would AND Dorian told me he'd retreat, they refused to follow through with their word and do the right thing. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I can go buy some Home Defense at a much lower price and achieve better results.
