He said that he would replace it with a new, higher quality (insulated) door and fix the door to our smaller garage for half the price we were given a few years ago. He knows how to bid a job to make you money as a valuable employee, $ 1,000.00 is a lot of money for a 81 year old homeowner!! My main issue with you is the 2 hour time slot to estimate the job. The disrespect for my time, ( assuming i have nothing as pressing as my garage doors is very insulting to me). 2 hours scheduling by you is 1/4, 25 % of my day which you assume is your time slot. I don't need a garage door. I was in business in Northern Ca. for 27 years. If I had given clients a 2 hour time slot to bid a job for them, they would have found another contractor!!!!!
