They even had a DJ that started playing music around 9 p.m. Since it was my friend's birthday, the server offered us a choice between a prosecco toast or a dessert. We started with the three $5 bites which were roasted olives, pickled vegetables and chickpeas. All three were so tasty and we basically ate them all. We also ordered the cucumber ceviche and the char grilled eggplant hummus. This ceviche was so fresh and flavorful!!! It also came with a tapioca crisp to dip. The eggplant hummus was absolutely delicious and the pita bread was equally good. We filled up on all of the shareables and were unable to order a full meal. We did order the Brownie dessert and again, so very good! The menu is small and leans seafood-heavy, so it might not be ideal for picky eaters. During our visit they seemed a bit understaffed but our server did a good job managing, and we weren't in a rush. One thing to keep in mind which may be expected given the location the parking is mostly street or valet which can be a hassle. Overall if I'm in the area and looking for a quality happy hour, Royale Room is definitely on my list to revisit.

We usually order a couple of our favorite staples along with something from the rotating menu, and we've yet to be disappointed. What really sets Vigilante apart, though, is the staff. Every employee we've interacted with has been genuinely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. They proactively check on us throughout the evening, offer great recommendations for both food and drinks, and are always happy to answer questions about the menu or games. The call button at each table is also a great touch. It makes it easy to get service when you need it without interrupting your game. The taproom is large and spacious and the the way they arrange their light and decor on the walls is creative and fun. The beer here was pretty good! I got s beer type I have had before but not one I can find often which is a historical beer which is a Pre-Prohibition Lager which means it's based on a beer recipe that was used before Prohibition. These lagers are nice and light and this one was too. The specific name for this beer is Hittin' Dingers. The flavor features in this beer is bitterness, sweetness, malty and floral. The blending of all these flavors come together in a nice, seamless layout on the tongue. The beer is nice and smooth in body too. I'm glad we made it here also and exploring breweries that are new to us is always a highlight to our trips.
