Great spot for lunch or just for dessert! I just wished there was a closer location than Plainfield. I miss the Oswego location. I had soup and sandwich combo: the half and half turkey, spinach, artichoke Panini with wild rice soup, and mason jar strawberry cheesecake. Service was good and the place was inviting and clean. I've been here multiple times throughout and the food still tastes the same. But the cheesecake in the mason jar has changed its jars otherwise worth the stop while in Plainfield. Had the Rueben sandwich comes with a side and I choose the Parmesan garlic chips with a pickle. The sandwich was juicy and delicious. Pickle was small, but the chips were very good. I got the BBQ Mac n cheese , it came with a side of chips. Brought home blueberry cheesecake in a jar , a slice of their strawberry shortcake cheesecake pie, and a slice of the Michigan cherry cheesecake pie . All three were amazing !!! It's $7.50 a slice but definitely worth every cent . The employees were super nice and the decor was adorable! Would recommend taking a trip to this place . Get there early , by the time we arrived on a Sunday , they didn't have a huge selection left to choose from . I called here on Monday to ask questions and to let them know that I will be bringing a party of 9 in on Saturday @5:00. This Thursday night my friend happened to see they are closing early , understandable, his daughter had a band competition or something. The top layer is salted caramel, the middle layer is cheesecake which is sweetened with monk fruit sweetener, the bottom layer is gf crust (Corn Chex, pecans, sugar, butter). I am deducting 1 star due to the high price for this item. II think it should be about $1 less. This review is for the Turtle cheesecake and the Salted Caramel cheesecake, both in the small jars. I honestly did not like the flavor of the Turtle cheesecake. I tasted very little 'turtle' topping. To me the cheesecake tasted bitter; not nearly sweet enough. The Salted Caramel was more to my liking. The glass canning jars do not bring a special appeal to me.
