Came in to get the TPMS system checked. Would have been $140. Ended up spending $1400 after agreeing to upselling. But that was my fault for not just getting the 1 sensor and leaving. I agreed to do all 4 sensors since the car is 14 years old. And the guy kept trying to convince me that the rest would go out and he was giving me a discount if I did all 4. And more than likely the rest would become faulty and if come back I would be paying full Price. So I agreed. I knew my daughter needed tires. So asked for an estimate and agreed to supposedly a $300 discount if I did new tires and all 4 sensors. Last, all of a sudden the lug nuts were bad and all 20 needed to be replaced. That was an additional $148 for 20 lug nuts that cost $30 a set. But, they were already all damaged and wad told that if they put them back on, it could damage the bolts and be more costly. I did not want to risk thousands more if they would have said your bolts broke because you didn't replace the lug nuts. So, I just paid $1400. And got the fudge out of there. Maybe it's just me. I visited Discount Tires on a Saturday morning to get a quote and have four tires replaced for my suv. The gentleman (forgot his name) was friendly and professional, and I was given an estimated wait time of 3 hours. Since it was a busy day, I decided to take a Lyft home. While the overall service was good, my car was not ready until 6 hours later which was much longer than the original estimate. I am unsure if the extended delay was because I left instead of waiting at the shop, but the extra time was excessive. However, the price of the work (replacing 4 tires and a wheel alignment) and the friendless of the draft was good. I would recommend this location but suggest checking in on progress if you are not staying onsite. read more

Very disappointed with this experience. We arrived for our scheduled appointment and were left standing outside in the cold until exactly 8:00 a.m., while staff were inside and clearly aware of us. Once we were finally helped, we were told they didn't even have our tires in stock, and no one bothered to call us ahead of time to cancel or reschedule the appointment. On top of that, the customer service was unfriendly, and to make matters worse, our card was charged for a full set of tires that we never received and did not proceed with. Took my 2017 Chevy trax to get new tires for my trip to Mammoth. The next day I realized my back left tire was low . I went in today to get it fixed. They did a quick scan of the tires and told me I had a nail and my TPMS system is not working. He said the batteries on the sensors died. Somehow the sensor battery magically died and I had a nail within a day of my service! I was told it would cost 88.40 for replacement. The district manager was in office at this time. As a woman who works on her own car...I'm pretty upset. Also, When I went in today, my sensors were working and now they are not at all. I personally think my tire sensors were mishandled during service. My boyfriend called in to discuss the matter, but was told we are the responsible party. read more

This location is a scam. Even with warranty he still want to make up things to charge you and if you don't they hold on to your keys and make you wait. They like to target female and ripped them off. I know 4 people that have told me the same store. You better off going somewhere else. Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR). I came into Discount Tire & Service Centers with a screw lodged in the tread of my car, expecting a pricey repair or a long wait. To my surprise, they patched up the tire completely for FREE--no strings attached! I honestly thought tire shops like this only existed in the movies, but there really was no catch. Aron at the front office was kind, professional, and made the whole process easy from start to finish. Danny did the actual repair and even rinsed and cleaned the tire afterward, which was a thoughtful touch. The whole process took just about an hour (note, I came in at 9am on a Thursday; not as busy). They even have a nice waiting area with a TV, customer bathroom, and coffee. I spent over 10k here but with the new crew I can't come back . Unprofessional and terrible customer service , I took it in to fix my AC. They told me everything was good and just needed to be recharge. They recharged it and charged me and told me that a part was broken . I buy the part and bring it in for them and the guy says I got a bootlegged part . And said they couldn't replace my part , and they never do that when I brought my own part about a month ago for another car. I take it to the shop 2 streets away and replace my part and they tell me the issue was actually another part (hose) and they diagnosed me wrong in that shop. They even gave me a discount in that shop and I ended up pay less than for all the hassle . Better customer service and way more professional than this place . I wait a while to write this review just to make sure I was giving a good advice about this shop. They are great. I usually work on my own car, but this time I didn't have time nor the right tools. The issue was hard to find, but they found the problem. They didn't try to sell me anything that I didn't need. They also pointed out issues that I knew about, but they didn't try to force them on me or scare about them like other mechanics do. This location was recommended by the manager from the Long Beach Towne center location because they were super busy. I'm so glad he did! At the time, Jennifer was still working there before she transferred to the LB location. I went in for help because of the type of position, the screw was in my tire. They will patch your tire for free, even if you didn't purchase it there. It was discovered however that the tire was the last original one of the car and needed to be replaced. It was affordable, especially signing up for the rewards program. You can knock off and save some money. The replacement took about 30 minutes. read more
